Puzzling Sentiment

Boston Tea Party writes:

You could tie me to a chair and make me watch it until doomsday and it wouldn't change my mind about the war. I'm honestly curious to understand why anyone would expect it to.

MARINES...SEMPER FIDELIS
I'm a crusty old salty Retired United States Marine, First Shirt. I bawled like a baby at Lizzie's and some of the other stuff about the Military and their families on YouTube. Had to sign-off. I'll try to go back.

I got choked up
That's a great video. We all need to be reminded of the sacrifices these brave men and women are making to keep us safe.

I'm VERY proud.

Youtube strikes again!
The video doesn't load and another link to it came back with a "not found" message! Youtube needs competition that competes!
Sue writes: Monday, May, 21, 2007 5:04 PM
Are the claims in the email true?
This is a very moving video indeed. However...

The email I received stated that "Lizzie" had been interviewed on Fox News back in April regarding the video. I wanted to see the interview and searched the Fox website, but found nothing about her or the video. A Google search only resulted in links to the video or to blogs mentioning it.

I emailed Fox News a week ago for a link to the interview, or perhaps just a verification of its existence, but haven't received a reply.

Is "Lizzie" a 15-year-old girl or a 35-year-old male graphic designer...?

I acutally teared up watching this.
This is an amazing video. I actually teared up. Makes you wonder why our bravest cant get the support they deserve from our cowardly congress.

“Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged.”

President Abraham Lincoln

Does this link even work?
What the heck is taking so long?
Bull writes: Monday, May, 21, 2007 3:00 PM
Forget it, it doesn't load
You can sit there all night if you like, but something that takes this long to load doesn't belong on a link.

People have better things to do with their time.

Video - Spread the Word!
Thanks Hugh for pointing me in the general direction. Boy! Was I out of the loop, more than 6 million views. It took a little bit of effort, but for all the clueless people like me, it's called "Remember Me" http://youtube.com/watch?v=ervaMPt4Ha0

Wow - Incredibly touching
Our narcissistic Congress should be collectively tied to a chair and made to watch this until they get the point.
