Rumors on the Internets: "New and Dramatic Developments" on the Michelle Obama "Whitey" Video ...

Larry Johnson, the blogger who first reported the existence of a video of Michelle Obama talking about "Whitey" from the pulpit, has posted this on his blog:
"New and dramatic developments. This is a heads up. I’ll post the news Monday morning by 0900 hours. Now I know why people who have seen the videotape say it is stunning. Barack’s headaches are only starting." ... Again, at this point, this is still a rumor. And I do note that he does not promise to release the video no Monday, but to update us with news.
But if the Clinton campaign does have video of Michelle Obama saying this, Monday would be a good time to leak it. Here's why:
1. In politics, you never want to release all the bad information about your opponent at once. Obama just resigned from his church under duress. His goal was to separate from the church. But a new video featuring Michelle would demonstrate that the problem wasn't merely the church -- that his family was enmeshed in this radical ideology.
2. Hillary will win Puerto Rico today, giving her some momentum. Obama is rumored to be announcing a large number of superdelegate endorsements on Monday, so that his victories in the Mountain West can be what puts him over the top in terms of the delegate count. This video (or confirmation that a video exists) could cause some of the superdelegates to get cold feet, or -- depending how bad it is -- even consider reversing course.
Another option might be to "suspend" (but not dissolve) her campaign, and release the video before the convention. I can't see why holding the video until then would be prudent -- but you never know what else she might plan on releasing in the next few weeks.
Again, this all may, or may not, be true. So far, it's rumors on the internet. But the source (whom I've spoken to on the phone) seems to be credible. And it certainly does not seem unrealistic to believe that such a tape exists. Stay tuned ...

I would call that a pattern.
If this so called Michelle Obama "Whitey" tape is true, it pay prove fatal for Barack. I am skeptical since if the Clintons had it, they sure waited late to leak it. But what is interesting is no one automatically dismisses it as a dirty trick, a slander, or impossible. We all know (including Obama supporters) that is is something Michelle Obama could have said. Consistent with Michelle saying this is the first time in her adult life she felt proud of her country.
So did Obama find Ayers, Dohrn, Pfleger, Rezko, and Wright all on his own? Or did Michelle help lead him there?

|
Joe is spot on. THE PATTERN. Now let's look at Mr. McCain's PATTERN. Neither of these men are fit to be president. Period. |
|
Obama has taken Michelle off the campaign stumping stage is to try to keep the scrutiny off her and IF this tape does exist they will claim it was in the past and why should they be held accountable for anything that happened in the past.
The same logic he is using for his association with Ayers et al.

|
Could the next one under the bus be Michelle? It sure is getting crowded under there. |
|
Ok, let's look at McCain's pattern:
Served with honor in Vietnam and while a captive in North Vietnam for years, fought against fiscal irresponsibility his whole career in the Senate, refused earmarks for his own home state, is pro life, promoted Alito and Roberts for confirmation and is for conservative justices and judges.
Does McCain have flaws. Absolutely. Is is a much better man for President of the United States than Barack Obama? Absolutely. |
|
RASMUSSEN POLL: McCain Trusted More Than Obama on Economy, Iraq, National Security. As I said before, a lot of Republicans don't like McCain, but it seems clear that the GOP primary process nominated the one candidate with a decent chance of winning in November. If Democrats respond to this year's primary debacle by revising their procedures, they should probably conside adoptingr a winner-take-all primary, too. Of course, that approach on the Dem side would have produced a Hillary nomination. . . .

May I suggest that you look very much deeper into John "Charles Keating" McCain's ACTUAL record, and his past and present "associates"? Like, oh, say, Charlie Black...for starters? I could post a long series of links, history and information on Mr. McCain's Corp. connections, connections to an endless stream of lobbyists, etc. But that would deny you the chance to do your own deeper research. Your post outlined the surface material that matters some, but not much, when compared to WHAT IS BEHIND McCain's curtain. You said he fought against earmarks.... what many call non essential spending; that comprises about 0.79% of the total Federal Budget. What a budget hawk, ole John is! Nibbling around the edges.
I was in the 'Nam, too. That doesn't qualify me to be president, Joe. |
|
Thank you for your service in Vietnam.
Tom Coburn believes McCain to be a fiscal hawk. And while I agree earmarks are a small budget component, earmarks are a big factor in the corrupting influence in Washington. As far as the Keating Five scandal, yeah McCain got burned by that but he was not centrally involved and I believe learned from that mistake (hence his stance on earmarks).
Remember too that McCain voted against expanding Medicare (the prescription drug benefit) which as entitlements go was absolutely nuts. We created an unfunded entitlement on the eve of baby boomers becoming eligible to collect it! That was completely fiscally irresponsible.
I do not know you you supported in the primaries (Duncan Hunter, Fred Thompson, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, etc.). I supported McCain (although I liked Fred a lot, and though Guilaini was good too). But the GOP nominee is going to be McCain. Does McCain have faults, for sure. I can assure you this much, McCain will be a better president than Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. |

Stephanapolous confirms Hillary is waiting for more to drop on Obama and his church! |
|
the Clinton's who have it. Previous posts from Larry Johnson claim that the tape was acquired through Republican sources. Rumors are that Sean Hannity may have a copy and he addressed the issue on the radio last week, neither confirming or denying. The fact is that most of us already believe that this family is amerced in this church's ideology. He couldn't sit there for twenty years if he and his family were not. But hearing the same hateful rhetoric coming from the horse's mouth is the last nail in the political coffin. |
|
Has anybody seen a flat out 'oh no, Michelle DID NOT ever say that'??
No, I am not suggesting that it is her responsibility to address this. BUT- IF SHE ABSOLUTELY DID NOT EVER SAY ANYTHING LIKE THIS-Wouldn't the campaign or the lefty blog nuts say so?? |
|
|
sounds like you have a little too much common sense for that position.Like it or not I believe will be our next president, the dems have done the impossible have snatched defeat from victory. One only has to watch Fox News expose on earmarks to realize how deeply embedded corruption is on both sides of the aisle am by far not a McCain supporter but the fact that he his record shows he is against earmarks makes him better than 95% of our lawmakers. |

Boy, would a tape be great. Losing to Clinton would be disappointing, but losing to Obama would be terrifying. I was a freshman in college when the Iranians took US citizens hostage. Carter was paralyzed by the crisis, and Obama strikes me as weak and effete as Carter.
I'm merely speculating, but the timing is probably a function of several factors. For example, when along the way did it come to light? Once uncovered, when was the best time to reveal it? If Clinton knew about Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Pfleger, and so on, they may have decided to let that wear on the public for a while. Obama and his wife are rookies, so Clinton benefited by some freebies (proud of my country, Bittergate).
Ultimately, the way Obama surged through primaries through February, Clinton needed to make a comeback to prove her electability. She also needed to get a resolution of Florida and Michigan. After Puerto Rico, SD, and MT, she'll likely be able to claim the popular vote. THEN release the tape. Waiting until later in the summer would hurt her chances to mend fences.
And none of this is doing anything for Michelle Obama's kids. |

10-4 I read your posts, and appreciated both of your responses. Thank you. |

I saw that Fox Show on earmarks too. All three of those Congressmen should be prosecuted. And criticism of Hannity and O'Reilly notwithstanding, whoever says Fox is too biased is not credible. The rest of the media is too busy fawning over Obama. This is precisely the type of reporting that news organizations should be doing.
The current House minority leader is a from the Ohio district that neighbors mine. After last night, he makes me want to puke.
Whatever the case, Obama isn't the answer to these Beltway problems. He directed a $1M earmark to the hospital at which his worked at. Surprise, her salary increased from $122K in 2004 to $317K in 2005. Nice. And how about the earmark he had directed to Pfleger's church? I'm sure that a more worthy church in the Chicagoland area doing the same kind of ministry work could have been found. Quid pro quo. |

I hope cap and trade gets shot down. I hope McCain is pragmatic enough to realize the very remote risks of global warming do not justify imposing a massive expansion of government. I do note that McCain said such a plan was contingent on China and India being on board.
But if McCain is wrong on cap and trade, Obama and Hillary are even worse. They claim McCain did not go far enough!
The good thing of $4 a gallon gasoline is it will wake voters up on some important issues such as expansion of drilling, nuclear engery, and freeing up regulations on new refineries. And voters definitely care about the environment and that is something the GOP should embrace, but voters have enough common sense to understand cost and effect.
Our choices, like them or not, are John McCain vs. Barack Obama. If you are a conservative, Bob Barr is a choice for Obama. |
|
Obama's top strategist will give a statement saying they are verifying the validity of this tape. You know, like they do with osama's tapes, to determine authenticity. Then they will come back to say that nobody can truly valid the authenticity of the tape and that in these days of the internet....anybody is possible. Unfortunately for the Obama's there is always a 'witness' in these churches. You know the type that wants to tell the 'truth about what happened because Jesus wants him or her to do so?". Michelle is anti-american and a racist! She is not fit to be First lady and when the tapes are made public.......maybe ALL Clinton supporters can now pick the next president not just 50% of them. Americans should send a message that the whitehouse will not be occupied by race-obsessed religious men or women. At least not anymore considering our history. |
|
I can't figure out who will be doing the funkier end zone dance if Obama wins the November election; the far lefties...or the far r-i-g-h-t-i-e-s !
If Obama wins, I can just see the Ron Paulistinians, the Pat Buchananites, and the John Birchers all getting sloshed and "partying like it's...'1956' " !
Ha, ha, ha.
|
|
The only redeeming feature of what you predict is they made really good cocktails (at least what I have heard it was before my time) in 1956.
I hope that does not turn out to be the case. If McCain wins I will lend those saddened "conservatives for obama" my moutain retreat so they can tend the chickens, keep the chipmunks out of the emergency food rations, and post angry Mac blog entries from their sattilite computers. Either that or they can join a border militia and do their part there. |

The Times ran a story four weeks ago in which it CONFIRMED Wright's assertions that the US used biological weapons against other countries. Today, it meekly corrected the record:
http://www.nytimes.com/ref/pageoneplus/corrections.html
It's really worth your while to check it out. Politicians need to be exposed when they lie, and so do papers like the Times. |

Roger Stone was on Fox with Geraldo about 30 minutes ago talking about the Michelle Obama tape with her saying "whitey." Geraldo bet him $100 there was not a tape. Roger said several news organizations had called him asking about the tape. He thinks one of the networks have it now.
I posted this on one of your more recent reports.
|
|
So what if there is this tape? So what if she does think "whitey" comments? Is this supposed to affect my decision?
You people are acting like you've just found the Zapruder film. |
|
|
I wouldn't expect it to change the decision of a goat, but you can bet it will give pause to millions of Americans that just keeps getting more and more of the Obama's racist and radical mindset. |
