No Sister Souljah Moment Here
Posted by: Carol Platt Liebau at 10:00 AM
Barack is receiving credit for having "blasted" Moveon.Org in a patriotism speech yesterday.  Problem is, he never mentioned the outfit by  name.

Given his capacity for  both supposedly opposing gay marriage at the same time he supports DOMA and supporting the Supreme Court decision overturning the DC gun ban he supported, it's clear that Barack is capable of saying a lot of things that sound good but ultimately don't mean all that much.

So how 'bout someone actually asking him if he was referring to MoveOn.org?

DON'T TAKE THE MISGUIDED OBAMA SERIOUSLY
We should refer to the pretentious Obama as slick Willy because he is sly like a fox! His flip flops are not the same as McCains, that have Evolved over a long period of time and were not selfishly motivated. In one short year, the delusive Strawman has deviously posed as only a "leftist", to win the Primary, now switches, for political expediency, to the "middle" in the General election! Yes,I know that is the way it usually goes but we were conned by Willys posturing as A DIFFERENT KIND OF CANDIDATE DURING HIS "SHAMPAIGN" JUST TO SECURE THE NOMINEE. HIS MESSAGE OF CHANGE IS JUST MORE OF THE SAME POLITICS AS USUAL! THE FACT THAT HE NOW HAS THE AUDACITY TO INSULT OUR INTELLIGENCE AND EXPECT OUR SUPPORT IN THE FACE OF SUCH OBVIOUS FAKENESS IS ALARMING AND TELLING! WAKE UP AND BECOME "INFORMED VOTERS. DO NOT LET THE DELUSIVE ROOKIE "BUY" AND FALSELY "TALK" HIS WAY INTO THE WHITEHOUSE! PRESIDENTIAL STANDARDS DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER! GOD HELP AMERICA!

disgusting
People give this guy a pass over and over again. Listening to him is useless half the time. His words are empty.

Everyone just wants to vote for the exact opposite of what we have now, which has actually not been too bad of an administration if you consider the fact that 7 out of 8 years the economy has been pretty good and that we haven't had a terrorist attack on US soil in 7 years.

But that's okay...we can just overlook the successes. *rolls eyes*

Fidel and Hugo promised change...
...and fulfilled their promises. Think it can't happen here? So did the Cubans and the Venezuelans. Better to go with a patriot in heart and soul than with a potential kommie despot. There is a huge chasm of difference between McCain and B. Hussein "Osama" Obama. As much as I disagree with some of McCain's liberal positions, he won't attempt to bring the country down. The other guy will.

Being Vague Works
Especially with the female vote. People will fill in the gaps with their own hopes and wishful thinking. They do this all of the time when picking a spouse. They do it with POTUS candidates, too.

I fully expect Obama to dumb down his debate responses into things like "Yes, there are problems. We have solutions." His response to any follow-up will be "We'll make things better."

If you ask him how, he'll say something like "By bringing people together."

It's like when people respond positively to promises of "change". They think the changes will improve things they don't like and yet will not apply to things they do like, other than make those things even better.

He's like a man who keeps getting sex from a woman because he says he "can" see them getting married "in the future."

the only reason Obama
wants people to THINK he was referring to moveon.org is to try to give the perception that he is not aligned with Soros.

There must be some rumblings in the campaigns about Soros's ties to Obama and it won't be pretty. We all know Obama doesn't do anything unless it will benefit him.

What Will McCain Say To The Race(LaRaza)
Will he tell them he intends to uphold the laws of this country?

Will he tell them he will not change the laws to accomodate those breaking them?

Will he?

Question for McCain
Since all of these industries (except GE) are already making "windfall profits", why do certain industries need even MORE subsidies? They don't need subsidies, they need for the government to get out of the way and call off the lawyers.

Thank God for McCain straight talk
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601070&sid=aIX_OR5 Pkp90&refer=home

No picking energy industry winners for McCain, so long as it's GE. Anyone going to look into McCain's relationship with GE? Isn't anyone worried that a guy who admits knowing so little about the economy and talks about excessive oil executive pay and windfall oil profits is pushing so hard for GE's Cap and Trade bill?
