As an anniversary present for the first anniversay of Barack Obama being elected the 44th president of the United States, the liberal Huffington Post recently compiled a list of ten major promises that Obama broke or did not follow up on...
This list attests to the disappointment that liberals continue to feel over one year after they helped to elect the candidate who believed in "the audacity of hope".
Click here to check it out.

If you want an even more scathing liberal perspective, try Robert Sheer's truthdig.com. He has a columnist (and awesome author) Chris Hedges who routinely eviscerates the Obama administration.
Hope you can recognize that even us lefties have our thinking caps on.

... it reveals exactly how close to the left rail you stand. It has absolutely nothing to do with "thinking caps" and everything to do with what percentage-less-American a leftist is than any of us real Americans.
For the ten things the HuffingtonPost was squealing about, were ten of the most un-American, nation destroying, screw all Americans plus the horses they rode in on whines I have ever read in my life.
They were in fact so un-American in nature that I actually became violently ill over the thought of people who truly believe themselves to be Americans, harboring such anti-American beliefs. |

This story simply can't be true.
1. Town Hall has told us over and over again that anything you read at Huffington Post simply can't be believed.
2. Town Hall has told us over and over again that liberals are all robots marching in lock step with anything their Messiah says. |

what a dirty dark world they inhabit. scary. |

First time I have ever ventured over to the HuffingtonPost, but I foolishly followed the link offered and man I can get the un-American commie stench rubbed off regardless of how hard I rub.
Reckon those two anti-American Hungarians, Arriannea and Soros are doing the nasty with each other?? Oh man, even that didn't help.
Gotta go jump in the shower...Honey, where is the anti-American removing soap?? |

so the cons are the major problem for the Right, eh? Looks like the Right cannot win without them.
On the Left, it truly is the radicals like our resident THers Val etc who will cause the Left to lose.
Don't believe me? Ask yourself "How did Barack fool enough people into voting for him?" and "What has changed so that so many people think he suuuucks?" |

Yesterday, I attended a funeral for Cpt. David Mitchell who died in that midair collision in Afghanistan.
As we waited for Honor Guard to bring forth Cpt. Mitchell's flag-draped coffin, we lamented on whether or not the tragedy could have been avoided by an earlier decision...or whether or not the collision was a result of an attack of the Russians, thereby causing a collision.
Either way, the Pied Piper needs to make a decision. In it to win it, or get the phuck out. |

admit that Obama has made one promise after the other that he has not kept, that fact should also be hitting home with a lot of other Americans who are not half as blind as that woman has always believed that he was the annointed one.
I can't see how he can be allowed to remain in office for another three years with nothing but his insane lust for power and dominance while throwing all caution and common sense to the wind. And as far as the military - I think all enlistments should cease, and when a soldiers time has been served they should come home and not re-up as so many of them do. I also believe that all the commanding officers should resign, leaving Obama's sorry a-s-s out to dry.
His Presidency was a fluke in the first place. He knows nothing about anyhing. The fact that he can stand on a pulpit and preach to the swooning ignoramouses with no brains has nothing to do with his abiltiy (or lack of it as it were) to be able to lead this country.
He was a pathetic, do-nothing Senator who wriggled his way into the bowels of the Chicago Mafia who bought the Media and brainwashed a lot of people who were succeptible to it due to their lack of any comprehension of right and wrong in the first place. Ultimately, we now have the worst nightmare President in the history of the country, and the future of 300,000,000 people hangs in the balance.
America has always been the land of the free and the home of the brave while keeping communism out, and we don't need the likes of this imposter pile of dung bringing it down to the level of a third world country whose 'leader' destroys it with his insane designs of being the most powerful person on earth - damn the consequences. well I say Damn Obamao. the time has come to impeach him before he does anymore damage! |

You have hit the nail on the head. Many of the soldiers are in agreement with you.
Obama is afraid he will be punished by his far left if he makes a commitment before he gets health care. Those who threw around the idea that Obama was waiting for new elections are now looking for another excuse.
Obama and his minions play politics while leaving our young men and women stranded. Sadly Obama has no problem with more and more dying. Remember this is about him and pushing his agenda, nothing can get in the way. |
|
Obama made this issue central to his campaign and appeal whicle asking Americans to elect him so that he could "recalibrate" our energies in this theater and make it the only place we should be fighting (committing to pull out of Iraq in short order).
This president knew all about his strategy before he took office. Nonetheless, he was delivered a detailed report by the outgoing Bush administration and was reported to have agreed with much of it---to the extent that he continued along its path.
He made a resolute declaration in March to focus squarely on this effort. He hired his own General. Fast forward to November and one would think that he was just introduced to this war he's been familiar with since way back when he was a senator for those few short months.
He's had ample time to prepare, strategize, ruminate, ponder, and execute the very plan he's spoken of long ago. But now----he claims to have to think about it. Think about what? The very thing he's talked about? The very thing he campaigned on? The very thing he committed to?
Nope---he has to think about the consequences of losing his Leftist base over a military decision---and thus risk losing support for his healthcare plan. This wait-and-see period has been entirely about political posturing. THAT'S ALL.
Meanwhile, soldiers are being put in protracted harm's way unnecessarily. |

now cons are laughing at liberals because Obama is far enogugh to left fot them!
that's funny, sad considering the sorry state of the GOP right now, but funny nonetheless. |

"I will transform America".
AND HE HAS.
Of course, America's not completely destroyed.
YET.
But in three years from now..................
It might be.
