Biden Announces The Appeasement Platform Of The Democrats
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 8:31 AM
From Haaretz, Israel's leading newspaper comes word that Slow Joe Biden has previewed the Obama foreign policy to a stunned Israeli military:

Democratic vice-presidential candidate Joe Biden was quoted Monday as telling senior Israeli officials behind closed doors that the Jewish state will have to reconcile itself to a nuclear Iran.

In the unsourced report, Army Radio also quoted Biden as saying that he opposed "opening a additional military and diplomatic front."

Biden, chairman of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has long been considered strongly pro-Israel. His nomination as Barack Obama's running mate had been expected to shore up the Democrats' strength with U.S. Jewish voters.

Army Radio said Israeli officials expressed "amazement" over the remarks attributed to him.

"Israel will have to reconcile itself with the nuclearization of Iran," Army Radio quoted Biden as telling the unnamed officials.

"It's doubtful if the economic sanctions will be effective, and I am against opening an additional military and diplomatic front."
It is a good thing that Slow Joe Biden has enough experience to throw in the towel over a nuclear Iran.

American supporters of Israel have to understand that Obama-Biden is a disaster for Israel's security.  It would be Carter II, but without the keen insight that Carter brought to Iran policy.

Man'O'Man...IF This Can Be Nailed Down
and verified, it can be used as truncheon against their elegantly trimmed and plugged 'haids!

We ALL know that it's what they believe and hold true--"Oh, well, what's another Nuke among scumbags?"--but it could be potentially devastating amongst alot of American Democrat Jewish voters. Get it verified, Repubs, and whup'um without mercy with it.

NeoConScrum - It doesn't matter
No, it doesn't matter. Nor will it be seen as a surprise.

I write from Jerusalem where our own government is prepared to throw in the towel on oh so much.

Why should we expect an ambivalent American presidential team to care more than our own office-holders.

IsraelP...Perk-Up, Friend...
The Sarah Palin pick has energized our base like I've not seen it in a long while. McCain-Palin are going to win. Probably, win BIG. Now, if you pesky Israelis will cooperate, get out of the stupor you seem to have fallen in to, and get Bibi Netanyahu as PM, what a kick-a** moment will have arrived!

My personal preference, for a number of reasons, is that America take care of erasing the Iran Nuclear Program threat. Too many negatives for us standing aside while Israel takes care of 'bidness. We need to do it ourselves, Say 3 to 5 days of pin-point strategic raids with kisses from 10,000K Bunker Busters. And, as much as possible, KILL their Nuke Scientists.

Don't be disheartened or demoralized, IsraelP. Now that that there's a vastly heavy chance of a continuing warrior occupying the White House, I think President Bush will leave the bombs to McCain. Otherwise, had his presidency continued for another year, I believe he'd strike them himself. Or, IF Obama were to win, he's hit them the second week of November! :-)

Experience counts doesn't it?
Good thing Senator Biden has all that "experience," otherwise, this would be a very scary statement to make.

Don't count Bush out
His convictions may just compel him to bomb Iran before he steps out of office. The question is: will he cover it up (don't admit it was us)? That would change his legacy to a much better one, that's for sure, even if he is convicted of war crimes over it.

I have been for Gov Palin as VP for some time, so I am cool with that.

It just gives me an opportunity to rag on my own government.

Biden on middle east peace
I've heard that relying on his vastly superior intellect and unsurpassed experience in foreign relations, Biden is floating the idea of partitioning Israel into three autonomous regions to avoid any further conflict.

Put yourself in the shoes
of Isreali leader on November 5th, should the Boob and pappy get elected (God help us). You've just been told the US is NOT going to do anything about nuclear-armed Iran. Nothing, not even pretend to negotiate. Indeed there is no point for Europeans to pretend to negotiate either, if the US is OK with this. You, the leader of Israel, cannot allow this, whatever the consequences, whatever the cost. And an aircraft strike by the Israeli Air Force might not do the trick, the Iranian facilities are hardened. Hmmmm, perhaps a nuclear strike on Iran would be in order?
jtb-in-texas, its funny only if a nuclear war world III strikes you as amusing.

Leftist Dems seemingly always.....
Leftist Dems seemingly always blame America as they are doing with the Hurricane and Bush and now they stand with the Islamofascists over and against Israel. The Dem Left has always supported Uncle Joe Stalin and the Rooskies over the USA: see their hate for Reagan on this. Support for Mao and his 'agrarian revolution' and that big lie. Support for Ho. Support for Castro and Chavez. So it is not surprising that Biden and the Messiah are cowardly when trying to protect an ally like Israel or other friendly Muslim states who knowingly fear an Iranian nuclear missile capability. Even Blue Dog Dems , Indies and disappointed Pub-Constitutionalists should see that McCain would be a far better choice to face Islamofascism than this socialist pacifist team on the Dem ticket. Carter's "keen insight"?!?
Re: "the keen insight that Carter brought to Iran policy," is this the same "keen insight" that led to the fall of our long-time and staunch ally, the Shah, the take-over of Iran by Islamofascists, the 444 day incarceration and abuse of 52 United States diplomats in the American embassy there, the hostility between the 2 countries ever since then, and the present state of affairs in Iran which consists of a maniac threatening to destroy the world and supplying aid to terrorist groups from Al-Quaida to Hezbollah?? Wow, this must have been some "keen insight" since the "keenness" of it has completely escaped the notice of every sane, even moderately knowledgeable, observer for over 30 years!! Hugh, what have you been smoking?!?

Biden on Israel
What's the surprise here? Most Democrats, including Biden, were against the Persian Gulf War during which Israel was attacked by Iraqi Scud missiles. Had Saddam Hussein's annexation of Kuwait been allowed to stand, he would have been further emboldened to stir up trouble in the Middle East and the inspections which revealed an advanced nuclear weapons programs and stockpiles of WMD would never have been discovered. The increase security threat to Israel is obvious had Biden had his way. More recently, he voted in 2007 for a time line to defeat in Iraq. Had he and his fellow Democrats prevailed, Iran would have filled the power vacuum as they claimed they would greatly endangering Israel's security and increasing the probability of a broader war in the Middle East. It should scare the hell out of every American to have an idiot like Biden advising an empty suit like Obama. If you are a Jew who cares about Israel, you would have to be either ignorant, stupid or both to vote for this ticket. Governor Palin has an excellent opportunity to point out Biden's miserable judgment in spite of his years of experience in foreign policy matters.

Vote Obammy to start a war!!
The Jerusalem Post has a report from De Telegraaf, a Dutch newspaper, to the effect that the Dutch have called off an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities because the U.S. is about to do the deed:

The Dutch intelligence service, the AIVD, has called off an operation aimed at infiltrating and sabotaging Iran's weapons industry due to an assessment that a US attack on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program is imminent, according to a report in the country's De Telegraaf newspaper on Friday.

The report claimed that the Dutch operation had been "extremely successful," and had been stopped because the US military was planning to hit targets that were "connected with the Dutch espionage action."

What will Israel do if Obammy is elected? No better way to start a war than to elect Obammy and his sidekick Biden. Hey you lib war protesters, vote for Obammy and watch Israel bomb Iran. It may even lead to nukes!!

Obama camp denies report Biden said Israel will have to reconcile to nuclear Iran
By Haaretz Service

U.S. vice presidential candidate Senator Joe Biden's press secretary vehemently denied on Monday a report that the Democratic candidate had said that Israel would have to reconcile itself to a nuclear Iran.

According to an unsourced report by Army Radio, the senator made the remarks to senior Israeli officials behind closed doors, adding that he opposed "opening an additional military and diplomatic front."

Biden, chairman of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has long been considered strongly pro-Israel. His nomination as U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama's running mate had been expected to shore up the Democrats' strength with U.S. Jewish voters.

"It's doubtful if the economic sanctions will be effective, and I am against opening an additional military and diplomatic front," Army Radio quoted him as saying.

In response, Senator Biden's press secretary David Wade released a statement saying "This is a lie peddled by partisan opponents of Senators Obama and Biden and we will not tolerate anyone questioning Senator Biden?s 35-year record of standing up for the security of Israel."

Arch says.

Ok. Fine. Let us assume that is fact. What does that say to Obammy giving Hamas money and support against the wishes and security of Israel?
