"The National Rifle Association is planning an Election Day ad blitz in Pennsylvania and other battlegrounds, delivering an anti-Barack Obama message to the doorsteps of thousands of newspaper readers, including subscribers to The Morning Call."

VICTRI Center event for veterans
Greetings,

On November 15, 2008 there will be held an
event at Legion Post 57 in Chaska in the afternoon. This event will be part fund-raiser held for the impending grand opening of the VICTRI center on the campus of the Minneapolis VAMC.
The Board and Staff of the VICTRI center is
fully comprised of veterans. All of us have
served this still greatest nation on the
face of the planet on foreign shores at some
point in our history. All of us are, first and
foremost patriots.
At this event a group of Iraq and Afghanistan
veterans will talk about their experiences during
deployment. This represents a chance for them
to "tell it like it is." They will be joined
and supported by other veterans, from previous
conflicts, and by local, State and Federal
legislators.
Cost of admission will be 20 dollars per
person with proceeds going towards our VICTRI
center. Join us for this singular event. We
especially welcome our fellow veterans. Come,
stand with us, support us...and just enjoy
some time with fellow veterans who have served
this great nation...and who serve it still.

I made calls and it is rewarding. More rewarding than stocking chicken feed, ammo, rice and beans for the coming bad times. You can pick your battle ground and do some good.
