I have been reading your pathetic posts and frankly the only word you used that fits your situation is IDIOT. Your assumptions that Newt smacked down anyone are ludicrus. His analogies and number lessons had nothing to do with any of the conservative talk shows. Your strawmen are just one exmaple of the logical fallicies that permiate your inane posts. We all heard his speech and I reject your stilted commentary. I have read your comments in various blogs and cant for the life of me understand why you think you are such an authority in the political arena. It is clear that your perceptions are shallow and your comprehension of points made in those blogs is beneath most who comment, thus your insistance on flooding each comment area with your banal and uninformed diatribe. Do yourself a huge favor and try to write meaningful and intelligent comments rather shoveling piles of panda dung as if it is truth. There are many here who write insightful and sincere opinions, your interjection of meaningless redefinition makes you nothing more than a shill. I look forward to something from you which is a tad more relevant. I know its a long shot but didnt someone say just lately that there isnt anything false about hope... |

There are many different views all on the same subject, but all have the outlook. Which one does not? |

It is definitely time for the GOP to be re-built again.
I will not ever trust the RNC. NEVER! They must be destroyed - even if it means physical-death to each and ever RNC leader.
Even Nancy Reagan said Ronald Reagan could not tolerate McCain. That is exactly what she told my relative just last week. It will be curious if the RNC gets her to retract her statement. But it has been said!
Well, the worst disaster for the USA is to have McCain as President. Worst than Hilary... Worst than Obama. Beyond any reasonable doubt.
It is now my goal, as a life-long GOP member, to go-out and put the proper perpective on the communist-lead RNC and McCain - to show the world that McCain does not care one-ounce about citizens in the USA. His record shows that.
26% of caucus voters in Washington is a huge victory for McCain; Huckabee 24%, Paul 21%, Romney 16%, uncommitted 13%? With Romney gone, and the RNC forcasting a 3.6% net voter-loss (there again, casting the opposition aside, expecting voters to FOLLOW), hundreds of GOP faithful expected a 40% to 45% McCain vote as a minimum to show he is uniting the GOP. There is no way the GOP will unite around McCain - especially with the RNC lies. NO WAY THE GOP UNITES BEFORE H-E-L-L FREEZES OVER!

If you want to keep posting on TH, that is your right. Frankly it doesnt bother me because people can continue to see what kind of person you are.
When someone points out facts to you, you have to get hateful. I think the fact that you have to resort to name-calling pretty much says all that needs to be said. There is so much venom in your posts it is palpable. Keep it up buddy. |

and by your posts, you didn't (brianakira), McCain is about as far away from all the points Newt made, as Hillary and Obamarama. The speech was as much for McCain to understand where the American public is, as the crowd he was speaking to. He sure as h*ll wasn't preaching to the conservative talk show hosts, they've been preaching pretty much the same lines as Newt for 20 years. |
|
Compared them to Lenin? He said he'd rather have a republican he disagreed with 20% of the time than a democrat he disagreed with 90% of the time. He also laid out reasons, in his frank, non-emotional manner. I would vote for McCain, if he talks Newt into being his VP. This would not only be the only chance for the repubs, it may be the last chance for America. |

Every time I read one of your posts, I am amazed at how far away your opinions are from conservative ideology. Your posts range from anti-Mormon religious bigotry to hating on Rush, Sean, Laura, etc. What party do you think you are in anyways? Conservatives are not about religious bigotry - its quite the opposite. Conservatives love Rush, Sean, and the rest of talk radio because without them the Republicans would be nowhere right now.
Conservatives are all about freedom of religion and the freedom to express that religion. We are part of a movement of optimism, not hatred. You seem to think that Newt "smacked down" Rush, Sean, Laura, etc. yet do you not realize how good of friends Newt is with all of these people??? Im quite sure you dont actually listen to Rush but you need to get a clue.
Every time you post something on this forum, you make it painfully obvious just how non-conservative you are. Have you ever considered posting over at the Kos? There's a lot of people over there that share your opinions including your hatred of Rush, Sean, Michael Reagan, Levin, etc. and there's plenty of religious intolerance to go along with that as well. I suggest you check it out. |

In 2003, the unprincipled Hugh Hewitt supported Arnold Schwarzenegger over Tom McClintock for California’s governorship. See http://www.nationalreview.com/debates/debates091603.asp
Political pragmatism amongst ersatz-conservatives carried the day and Schwarzenegger won the election. Once in office, Arnold betrayed the Republicans and began to unleash a hideous evil. Five years later, Christians in California have run for the doors. See http://www.californiaexodus.org/
Both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Hugh Hewitt (now that Romney has suspended) have endorsed John McCain. Are Townhall readers too blind to the see the fruit of this compromise and pragmatism??

Has always been my #1 choice. My gosh, I wish he would run. I would vote for any of the GOP crop if they took his plateform or if they took him for VP.
Newt is one of the best of all time and just the type of man we need NOW. If only he would run. |

...will win every time IF we have an informed electorate. It is up to us, as citizens, to be informed, as old/big media will never present the truth.
Great speech! |
