THIS IS CNN: "Smear Gov. Palin!"
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 7:37 PM

NBC classier than CNN?

Just crossing my desk this morning...

CNN felt free to include Sarah Palin on its list of political dishonorables from 2008. They ranked her 6th AHEAD of Governor Eliot Spitzer of New York (who committed a felony) and ahead of fellow Alaskan Ted Stevens, who Palin sided against.

They sited "Troopergate" (of which she was cleared of any legal or ethical wrong doing) as her big crime. I suppose CNN would like you to believe that her being legally and ethically cleared of false accusations is the same as Rod Blagojevich's selling of a United States Senate seat, or of holding public funding for a children's hospital hostage until he got his six figure campaign contribution...

They also sited "Wardrobegate" (of which she was never accused of doing anything illegal, never kept the clothes, and the ones not worn returned to stores, and the one she did wear auctioned off for charity) as her big scandal. Somehow it is suppose to equate to John Edwards coming to fisticuffs with paparazzi in his secret lover's hotel hallway?

No... this was just a cheap shot to smear a decent woman who did nothing but re-energize what was turning into a disasterous campaign for the GOP. By the end of her sixth week on the trail she was averaging the same size crowds as Obama on the stump. CNN knows that she embodies and represents the views of millions of voters, and more importantly everyday people who grew to love her in her brief stint on the public radar.

CNN's wretched comparison of Gov. Palin to the rest of the criminals and adulterers on their "worst of 2008" list is nothing less than a pathetic indication of the low-lifes that network has among its ranks (at least in its internet division) and they do themselves no favors in trying to return to their former glory (of which is long past)  by continuing to encourage it.

You can click here to let CNN know what YOU think about this.

Well said!
Pet Goat says it perfectly. Of course, this will fall on deaf ears as Kevin continues his new career in revisionist history and science fiction.

Kevin's issue...
Kevin has, unwittingly, exposed his problem perfectly.

By slamming Andrew Sullivan, Kevin betrays his own identity.

Sullivan is a true Conservative, in the Goldwater mold.

Kevin and his little friends, while claiming to be "conservative" (not the careful use of opper vs. lower case "c/C"), are in fact Neo-Cons in the Bush/Cheney mold.

Hopefully, Kevin, you will start to understand now where it has all gone wrong.

Isn't it ironic that it it took a gay, HIV+ Brit to become the articulate voice of Conservative America?!

CNN heard our outrage.
They pulled her off the list.

Newsday Did the Same Shameful Thing
Here's Newsday's recent trickery in the same regard (and my response as comment #1):

Wrong Lola... go research the matter
Palin was cleared of any wrong doing in the matter.

And the fact that you can not determine the difference in character between Eliot Spitzer and Sarah Palin, demonstrates your own lack of discernable character.

I also labels you as someone who can not be trusted.

And Ann the thing
that frightens Goat and Rick the Patsy alike...

Is that there are MILLIONS of you!

God Bless each of you!

sara palin
The big mistake they made was not letting her be herself from the beginning. She whipped biden's a--s in the debate no question about it. I can't wait to vote for her again. She shouldn't be afraid to say to someone like Katie Couric, "Hey I don't know everything no one does, but I'll do my homework when I don't and find the answer." Katie Couric is the typical liberal, to go after someone with cheap shots and set them up for no other purpose but to embarrass them. She should be ashamed.

Please!
Please continue to push Palin forward as the future of the GOP!

Ex-Pat: don't point out the obvious lies. Let's urge the GOP to keep her front and center.

NOTHING will bode better for our new President and Congress than a GOP that is headed by Caribou Barbie and her long trail of lies.

Giggle, snort, chuckle...
Rick the non-patriot... sites Andrew Sullivan as a non-biased source...

Guffaw...

He does the same with CBS...

Ronna writes: Monday, January, 05, 2009 11:16 AM
They're scared sh!tless of her
that's pure and simple.

Decent woman!
The most researched and best-documented work on the endless lies of Sarah Palin is probably found on "The Atlantic":

CBS has finally gotten around to a bit of work:

Some new lies here:

Although this charming little tid bit popped up today:

Maybe instead of a "decent woman," Kevin should call her a "decent Republican."
