It seems that the Dems weren't paying attention last Tuesday. They insist that the results in both Virginia and New Jersey were of no consequence to their current direction and policies.
They ignored the people at town hall meetings and the enormous turn out for Tea Parties and now they point to the AARP and AMA as reason to move forward on a bill not supported by 54% of the American people.
The Democrats insist on moving forward with policies that the majority reject and somehow believe that in the end they can baffle the people with their usual B.S. Clearly, they are the ones who have fallen for their own line; the people aren't being fooled anymore. Who will they blame when they lose their posteriors next November?

Just how much does anyone in this country know about Barack Hussein Obama, and when did we know it? During the campaign Obama talked about health care in general, no specifics (because then Americans would have stopped him right then). Now that we've seen the various bills, we don't want them. We agree that there should be reform, but not a government takeover. If you can't see the difference, you are an idiot.
One, the majority of Americans are not opposed to gun ownership, and I defy you to document that with facts. Second, it is guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the Constitution, so even if a majority don't like, they would have to amend the Constitution. And Third, and listen up, the NRA does not control legislation. That is done by the members of Congress who are basically tone deaf. It took the US Supreme Court to kick DC's handgun ban to the curb.
Conservatives have principles. We don't justify our goals by rationalizing the means. Libs do. Big difference. Thanks for admitting that you have no principles.

President Obama called the shootings "tragic" and "a horrific outburst of violence." He expressed his condolences for the shooting victims.
"These are men and women who have made the selfless and courageous decision to risk, and at times give, their lives to protect the rest of us on a daily basis," Obama said. "It's difficult enough when we lose these brave Americans in battles overseas. It is horrifying that they should come under fire at an Army base on American soil."
