U.S. Gunships Attack Suspected al-Qaeda in Somalia

The weapon: AC-130s.

The target: Terrorists suspected of involvement in the 1998 African embassy bombings.

"Casualties on the ground," but no more details than that. Updates at Michelle Malkin's and Hot Air.

The embassy bombings killed more than 200 and injured thousands.

Puff was the Vietnam era AC47 which used the three port-side mounted 7.62mm miniguns...featured in a great scene in the John Wayne classic "The Green Berets" The AC130 goes by Spectre (or Spooky) or by some as "The Great Ranger God"...whatever the moniker, there is nothing like applying platform stabilized precision firepower to exact a compromise from even the most uncivilized malcontents.

Libbie's are already decrying attack
As predicted the media is already wailing that civilians were killed in the gunship attack. Those murdering sadistic service-members wantonly murdered those poor, defenseless muzzies. What are there names, they should be brought up on charges of murder and genocide. By God those civilians that survived should be represented by the ACLU and sue the snot out of the U.S. government.
