maybe jerimiah wright or louis faraKHAN would like to also go along. |
Maybe barry can go to Saudi Arabia with his Koran in hand. That would be better than a hat.
He'll need it because he won't drill for oil here.
God help us. We're sending a nancy boy community organizer to stare down a bunch of oil baron terrorists.
I'm already missing cowboy diplomacy. |

The very first post here is from someone who actually thinks that talking with people who are committed to slaughtering everyone who will not submit to Islamic rule, is the way to achieve peace and understanding.
I believe the religion of Islam is the religion of Satan. In it's brief history, Islam has offered nothing to the world except death and destruction. Islam has no future in a civilized world and the quicker it can be exterminated the better off the world will be.
Obama is Muslim lite and his loyalties are unknown. I believe Obama will usher in a policy of surrender to Islamic demands which non-Muslims will be forced to accept. Thanks to Obama supporters, these things are already taking place in some cities and in the universities.
CATX, you and others who think like you are fools. You clearly demonstrate that when it's time for you to get in the boxcars, you will go like the Jews did in 1940.
If you have a conflict with someone it is usually easier to solve it by talking with them. The issue will be a battle for hearts and minds and I think the present admin has done alot to push people away and served as a recruiting tool for radicals.
I believe the average muslim despises war and violence just as much as we do, careful to keep the distinction between "everyone" and some very bad apples.
Muslims could just as easily read many of the posts on this page and assume ALL Americans hate muslims and want to wipe them off the earth!
Go O! |
I thought you reporters would have gotten that drift by now... no name aids passing info and Cairo said no one has contacted them, so you really don't have a story here. |
Hello, Mr. Obama!
Did you not get the audiotape from Al Qaeda wherein you were called a "House Negro"?
Once you are sworn in, your responsibility will be to US (as in, US the citizens of America). A speech to those that want to kill or convert (I am speaking only of Islamofascists, not peaceful Musims) is ridiculous. Do you honestly think that a speech is going to change the minds of those that hate us?
For some in the Muslim world, hopey-dopey rhetoric will not make an iota bit of "change".
Get real. |
You really need to get it right, circa 732 AD the Saracens invaded the city of Bordeaux, France and Slaughtered every Christian in sight, It was called the battle of Bordeaux. Duke Odo was the protector of the city, he made contact with Charles Martel and made a deal with Martel making him the protector of the city if he put his army together and destroyed the Saracens, Martel did this at Tours, France circa 735 AD. The Saracens over time have told the lie over and over that the White anglo saxons were the ones that began the cursades but, as usual the Saracens will lie about anything, they began the crusades in Europe some 300 plus years before the Christians marched on Jerusalem to allow the Christians access to the Holy Land. I did not address Spain in the above to keep it from becoming confused. It is best to call the Jihadist by their real names "Saracens" for one simple reason, they were and are born without Sarah. They are mixed between the Hamitics and Semitics, the Israelites are the true Semitics. |
Can we be surprised that the messiah is not content with being president elect of the United States? Hum, I don't think there is yet a president of the world but, I am sure Mr. Obama and his ego wishes there were.
On another subject, we don't seem to be hearing a lot from the president elect on what to do about this economy. Mr Obama seemed to have a lot of eloquent rhetoric regarding the subject when he was on the campaign trail. |
Lets suppose Benjamin Netanyahu is elected in Israel, do you really think Benjamin would wait on obama to support him, Ben knows who his friends are, he knows obama will break left to the muslims.
I am praying Benjamin Netanyahu gets the job in Israel, this man is by far the most qualified person on the planet to deal with fanatical muslims, he just kills them and the muslims understands where he is coming from. He is a man of his word. He literally does not need the USA but, he will protect the USA. Imagine, the real leader of the free world will reside in Israel or France but, not in America. A fraud and Imposter will never lead the Nation.
Remember BarryO's little slip when he stated in an interview "My Muslim Faith" and then corrected himself.
Now come on people....I'm a Protestant Christian - NEVER in my life have I slipped and said "my Catholic Faith or my Jewish Faith or my Muslim Faith!". And every single solitary person I ask - regardless of THEIR faith - agrees that they have NEVER done that either.
We have a desperate situation with the economy and he wants to give speeches in a Muslim city somewhere else in the world.
And to the person you blames the Republicans for the War on Terror - GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT - a 9% vote by Congress can't fund a war. And if you still feel the War On Terror isn't necessary - drop by Ground Zero and maybe you will realize that you have no soul. |
You are right, and I apologize to you and everyone else on here. I am new to this blogging business and the GOP has disappointed me so much over the last several years I just wanted to vent, and find a way to connect with Repubs that felt the same, that our party was headed in the wrong direction, with the mismanagement of the war, the coprorate bailouts and the like. Aynrand I hate that uncivil disgusting personal attack type of rhetoric, yet in tryin to make my case on here, I let a few numbskulls get me upset, for that I am truly sorry, that's not my style. To Ronna and kathy, I apologize to you as well for my tone. I respectfully disagree with your means for opposing the President Elect, but respect your right to do so. I just feel that our ideas are better, so we don't have to engage in that type of talk to win the hearts and minds of Americans. Ladies I am sure we probably agree on more things than we diagree on, so lets find common ground. If you choose not associate with a non-100% conservative I'll respect that too, but I am not going anywhere and will continue to stand up and fight to make the party better. This also goes to you foxmustang as well. I will not engage with anyone else on this site in a negative manner from now on, and I will only concentrate on subsanative matters that can move the GOP forward. |
Im sure he will go over there to be the "citizen of the world" and apoligize for our country. He is a con artist and a cert of live birth is not the same as a Birth cert! Why has he hired 3 Law FIRMS to fight all the charges against him, why does he NEED to hide his school records and BC??? If he has nothing to hide than why doesnt he show his records?? All communist dictators have campaigned on 'hope and change'all con artist are good speakers, but doesnt qualify im to be POTUS. And to think only 7 years after 9/11?? America needs to wake up, the history that has been made is the first Marxist/Muslim/Kenyan pres.'elect by fraud. Welcome to the "change". |
I have no problem with Obama giving a speech in Cairo, as long as he uses the opportunity to take the Egyptians to task for their long history of fomenting violence in the Middle East.
Yeah, I know. That's about as likely as Obama coughing up a legitimate birth certificate or admitting he lied through his teeth throughout his campaign, but that doesn't make the need for such a speech any less real. |
N.J. When you suggest that Kathy and Ronna are not "pure" enough for the Republican Party and should go form their own party, you are engaging in the same demonization you have been complaining about over and over and over. Look in the mirror, pal. And, no, you are not smarter and more rational than the rest of the Republican posters here. I will concede that you are smarter than the lib posteres here. |
And so will the rest of the world. We Republicans should have done more to court and win over the moderate Muslims of the world. We have more in common with them than liberal Democrats. On this point, all I can say is: Go O. |
You don't think while Comrade Obama is visiting "an Islamic capital", maybe national security secrets could be "accidentally" leaked to our potential adversaries........ Safer in person.......less chance of being caught at it...... |
You won't win unless you accept obvious facts about Hussein and get comfortable enough to use them to discuss with voters why HE is not the right person to be commander in chief. The issues I have raised are significant. If voters don't get it now, they will do so in time because killing the unborn, and redistributing wealth is something that causes implicit outcomes in 8 years. Hussein will be re-elected in 2012 because he will have Hillary as his VP and Republicans are too timid to actually say what is wrong with Hussein because he is black. If he was white, republicans may actually have the nerve to call him out on his 'issues'. After 8 years, Hillary will get another 4. It will take republicans 12 years to get back the executive branch. At this time - voters will know, what we the so called 'hateful people' know - Hussein was a BIG MISTAKE. In the meantime, we'll keep it real by saying 'keep the change' |
Obamacide - term used to define the Freedom of Choice act that Hussein promised to sign during his first 100 days in office. It will expand abortion on demand to include third trimester abortions (partially birthing a child then suffocating it before it can breath), withholding medication for a child that survives third trimester abortion. According to Hussein, he does not want to burden the doctor with reviving a child that the parent did not want to raise. The freedom of choice act will not only fund third trimester abortions at home but abroad through the UN's 'safe sex' programs. It will also embroynic stem cell research which means we will expand our killing policy to not only include a 'mom's choice' but a scientists choice to artificially inseminate a sperm and egg for the SOLE purpose of destroying it when 'figuring out' IF IT CAN produce cells to cure disease. We are officially in the OBAMACIDE error.
Dora the Explorer - should be credited with the chant 'We did It' which is what she does when she completes her adventures. Five year olds are very familiar with this chant which became known as the Obama chant. Yes we can, came from Bob the Builder and We did it came from Dora.
What problem do you have with these facts? |
you cling to whatever gives you a sense of purpose in life and the rest of us will plan on how to win in the future. I didn't say you specifically called Obama names but many others certainly have - as if that will help get votes from moderates, etc. And going down the crazy road (Obama IS an American citizen) won't help. |
Hussein is his middle name - like W is George's middle initial.
Acorn did register dead people and non-existent people. Hussein admitted it but argued that registering them does not mean they will vote. A judge decided it's a local issue so he decided the county should decide what to do.
Foreign funds were given to Hussein. He admitted it, said he did not know and asked that his campaign return the funds.
Comrade in chief is a title befitting Hussein because he supports re-distribution of wealth. In his own words the explained the Warren Court did not go far enough because while it gave the right for a person to buy a cup of coffee and sit at the table and drink it with others, it did not address the person's inability to pay for that cup of coffee because of the historically economic disadvantage faced by such a person. The court did not go far enough because it should have advocated for re-distribution. In his book Hussein explains why he picks his friends carefully and states he picks socialists. His most influential person was a maxist.
What names? If you have trouble with facts then you can call them insults. Otherwise, admit that hussein, based on record did get foreign funds for his campaign and Acorn his former collaborator in 'community organizing' registered dead people on his behalf. |
Your quest for an intelligent dialogue is slowly losing steam with your last post to Christian.
I also voted twice for Bush, however he lost me on the immigration fiasco especially when he railroaded Ramos and Campeon on trumped up charges in a kangaroo court and prosecuted by his good buddy, Jonny Sutton. His reluctance to pardon these two men jailed for doing their duty, on the word of a drug smuggler it beneath contempt. He's pardoned all kinds of criminals, including drug smugglers but these two men are in solitary confinement for doing their jobs.
You may or may not be what you would like us to believe you are, but if you are right of center but cut down conservatives who are further from the middle of the yellow line in the road; you are part of the Republican party's problem. They went wobbly in the last decade, rolling over like submissive dogs, p..ing on themselves every time that seedy caspermilquetoast Dingy Harry squeaked and RED Nancy barked. Why, because they believed the moderate way was the only way, DemonRAT lite if you will. They are the reason I'm NOT a Republican, I don't want even less than one cent of mine going to support ANY RINO's; they let us Conservatives know what they thought of us, so now they can deal with the debris they caused. They don't even have the grace to be grateful for SARAH Palin bringing a lot of the base back into the election. SARAH is someone you'd refer to as a REDNECK, well then so am I and proud to stand with her, as many others of my values will..see Georgia. |

I don't know if you're a sports fan but real fans who understand the games will tell you "Score more points" when you are whining about the referees, the wind, the sun being in your eye, and the hostile fans. My point being it is time for Repubs to mature in their political thinking. Every American knows the Press is against us and Dem/libs cheat. The question is "What are the Repubs gonna do about it?"
JD's Handsome Son had it right when he said the Dems are the dominate male in this fight. I bet if the Dems sent all their losing candidates to be seated tomorrow, the Repubs would acquiesce like the always do. They have no survival instinct.
Calling Obama names after the fact or trying to scare people about the Bogeyman is futile. |

1,507 days...
or 36,184 hours...
or 2,170,055 minutes...
until Inauguration Day, 2013.
Plenty of time for the next Churchill to emerge to organize the efforts to clean up the damage of this new Neville Chamberlain and his childish underestimation of the agents of destruction.

from documented website archives and reference my memory for things from his books, Audacity of Hope and Dreams of My Father. I've posted some of them before and seen many other posters doing the same, yet some of you ignore, ignore, ignore and and continually and falsely accuse us of using nothing but talking points to make our cases. You are dead wrong and that lie is getting old
And as far as my opinion of Barack Obama, let me spell it out for you in my own words, according to what I know about the man. I do not like him. I do not trust him. I do not think he's honest, or that he will be a good President. I believe him to be a Muslim at heart, and I do not believe the copy a birth certificate he placed on a website is anything but a forgery. I don't feel that anyone who can defend him, his actions, his conceit and arrogance, and his nefarious agenda for America is a Conservative! I do not believe YOU to be a Conservative!!
I hope and pray that Phillip J. Berg can advance the case against Obama, and that if he is proven to have committed all the crimes he's been accused of, that he is kicked out of court with a guilty verdict, and sentenced to the fullest extent of the law for Conspiracy to commit fraud against the American people.
I hope that is articulate and intelligent enough for you, as I can not say it any plainer than that. And I never, ever listen to Rush Limbaugh. I don't like Sean Hannity or Bill O'reilly either. Next??? |
Maybe next time the GOP will run a Republican. |
Acorn and Foreign Campaign contributions.
If this is fair then Hussein is the change we can believe in. We know he returned some of the foreign funds (the one's that were identified) but that was before the foreigners learned a better way to contribute. Hussein won because Acorn registered dead people and foreigners contributed to his campaign. Hussein has also refused to release a birth certificate that includes a doctor's signature to show he was born in HI.
Say what you will but fair and square - seriously! |
REPUBLICANS lost. Cons won because maverick lost. That was an awesome day when that donkey went down. |
real cons are gracious when they lose. Obama won fair and square. grow up. |
Your pathetic attempt to insult me using words like El Rushbo make you part of the republican wing that believes Hussein is an american president. Listen up! If you want to defend jihadists and the foreign president elect, please do so at huffington post. Conservatives who post here are less likely to sympathize with jihadists or americans like you who make Hussein sound like the magic negro they have come to love. If speaking in the Press Club is what makes one a great american then Wright would be proud! I don't need public appearances to know I am an important person, and I sure don't need a comrade in chief who is graveling to jihadists in the hope of 'convincing them' we are okay. Take your globalist socialist sympathyzing views and join the Obamacide crowd as they chant the Dora song 'we did it' and 'we have overcome'......... |
We cons need to go and form a new party and leave the Stupid Party to its demise. These conspiracy theorists are embarassing. I agree with you on most things you wrote except I think Rush is still relevant although I think he is falling behind the times BECAUSE he won't take his Repub glasses off. He still makes good points on some issues. Unlike the inane Hannity who can link anything to Obama. |
Ronna. May I return the compliment, and dittos to Christian and Kathy.
I think NJ gave it away, in one of his replies, "center-right" in other words middle of the road and you know what you find lying in the middle of the road. I also take exception to the "redneck" remark..if by redneck he means patriots who revere the Constitution as a gift from God and will not bow down to anyone daring to dismantle the Bill of Rights..then I'm a redneck. And for that matter, everyone of the Founders and the soldiers and their families that fought to give us that Constitution they wrote in their own blood and tears were the original "rednecks". And whether NJ means it or not, I get the feeling he's really talking down to us..and we are supposed to buy that he's a republican?? Kind of makes ya wonder. |
You are pathetic. And it won't be long before you and the other right wing nut jobs will be forming there own poltical party, then the GOP can return to its mantle as the party of Lincoln. I didn't know there was a break out at Bellevue hospital cause there are a lot of nuts loose today! And secondly you self righteous son-of a b**tch you don't know me or anything about me. First of I voted for GWB, twice and still support the invasion of Iraq, I only disagree with how it was horribly mismanaged. GWB has done some great things to keep this country safe but has committed some major blunders as well. Sorry if I don't have that blind loyalty like you, but I am an honest broker and don't believe everything someone tells me. You on the other hand are an idiot. I wouldn't even get down in the muck with trash like you, had you not personally come after me, but I'll make an exception for you, you piece of garbage. You know what's "dangerous" and "naive" fascist like you who try to bully people who don't agree with them because there too dumb to understand complex government policy. But don't worry chrisitan you won't be asked to join the panel of the McGaughlin group, or speak at the National Press Club, maybe if your lucky you'll be able to call in "El Rushbo" on the Excellence in Broadcasting network, since that seems to be where you get your talking point from! |
I am a Conservative, I'm not a republican and where I come from when someone seals something so no one can learn the truth, it's tellin a lot about that person. In other words, as my mother always said. Actions speak louder than words. He's essentially told the American people to go to H... and essentially admitted he's got something to hide. And I don't really care what the rest of the world thinks about my country, not the world that's rolling over like submissive socialist dogs, piddling on themselves out of fear of our enemies. And I don't like pinheaded politicians apologizing to the world for sins we are supposedly responsible for when WE spent our blood and treasure twice in the last century to pull their fannies out of the fire. Not only that, I'm sick and tired of being the pigeon for every socialist con game in the world, sick of the U.N. and sick of the elected pinheads toadying to them on our dime! I don't care if they love or hate us and I refuse to apologize for this country. I am sick of lib/socialists putting down this EXCEPTIONAL REPUBLIC. And I resent that they have been responsible for the 40 year educational dumbing down of two generations. |
You are right on all counts! Keep it coming, Brother. |
Remember Stephanopolis had to remind him he is 'not muslim' after he slipped? Barak is not only muslim but he is a foreigner. The latter bothers me more than him being muslim. As a foreigner, his access to our military secrets makes us very vulnerable. Combine that with his socialist/communist tendencies, and it's an explosive situation (no pun. intended:)). People have compared him to Carter but I think he is more dangerous than Carter. At least Carter meant well, Hussein believes it's pay back for all those years of slavery and 'whitey' dominance! He believes he has a 'calling' to 'make it right' for those who have not been included by the europeans and 'whitey' in america. This belief makes him more dangerous than any other naive president we've had in the past. |
1. Airforce 1 will emit too much carbon on this trip.
2. Muslims prefer to hear from the US President while he is sitting in his oval office, not on their soil because it is perceived as an 'in your face' gesture.
3. Christians who believe that jihadists are predominantly muslim (Johnny Jihad made the list) will not view this gesture well. It's not politically correct.
4. It will remind people that Wright and Farakhan had made a trip to Libya and that Hamas literature was distributed in Hussein's former church (did i say former?)
5. The secret service men guarding the president-elect have families and they don't want to become heros.
6. During tough economic times, travel is considered a leisurely thing and should be excluded from the federal budget. What happened to cutting spending? |
1. this must be what Obama meant by "change" since everything else he's done so far is par for the course (except W had more minority faces in his appointments heeheehee)
2. If Obama wants to speak to an area that is dominated by Muslems, why doesn't he just go to Michigan?
and b. - has anyone read Tribulation Force? this is starting to look familiar. I think Obama will announce that he's changing his name to "Nicolae"... |
with his speech from an Islamic Capital, letting them know that he will 'be there for them,' as promised!?
Don't forget the quote from his book, 'Audacity Of Hope'
"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
He meant it then and they knew it. He means it now, and they know it. They are our enemy as is he. Do not be fooled. |
It's difficult for the single digit voters to get that Hussein is not the man he claims to be. Not only has he refused to release his 'real' birth certificate, he has refused to release his school records or transcripts or any papers he wrote in college or law school. This means he has A LOT TO HIDE. Nixon did not know the tapes existed, Clinton did not know about the existence of the blue gap dress. Where I grew up in Africa, we had a saying 'there is no secret between two people'. Hussein's true colors will come to light. This is not a republic issue it is a global issue. Foreigners are laughing at us for electing a weak man. They love him because he will be the weak link to our strong military and economic fabric. When the foreigners are done steam rolling Hussein - americans will not have much to salvage. What a pity that public education has resulted in such numbbots because when I immgirated here 18 years ago, I believed americans were smart. We are now the 'foolish americans' and Russia's renewed energy to take leadership shows that Hussein is not well respected. China and Iran are also on their way to nuclear power. Hussein will cost americans more than they know - and promising healthcare was how americans sold their freedoms and leadership role for 30 pieces of silver. |
Thank God for your thoughts on Obama. I was beginning to think most of the Conservative party had died and gone to obamaland. |
We Can all get along if we try. |
put Kathy and me down for wanting our President vetted, & his Citizenship verified as being Rednecks?
You say we are bad for our GOP party, but I am only interested in seeing that a Conservative be President, not a flaming Liberal who thumbs his nose at the courts and fails to provide documents simply because he feels he shouldn't have to because he is "THE ONE!"
And Kathy is hiding behind the Constitution? WHAT?! You and those who dismiss Obama's cowardly and dishonest refusal to provide evidence to the courts are as far from being Conservative & concerned for the welfare of this nation as earth is from Mars. Get a clue and a grip. YOU'RE the stinking problem because you're the one who has lost sight of what it means to be a Conservative. Fact: Obama has a Muslim past. Fact: Obama sat in Rev. Wright's church listening to him spew hatred for America for 20 years. Fact: Obama assoicated with ACORN, a well-known nefarious organization. Fact: Obama had a CLOSE relationship with Bomber Williom Ayers. Fact: Obama has political friends and allies in the Islamic world. Fact: Obama paid a considerably lesser amount for his home due to a nefarious association with one Tony Rezko. Fact: Obama's birth certificate "copy" is a computer-generated document is an odd size & shape compared to an original from 1961, and was printed using an "ARIAL FONT" which could NOT have been used on the "typewriter it had to have been typed on "IN 1961!"
Now, that isn't a drop in the bucket of the nefarious past of Barack Obama, but taking all that into account, how the hell can you say I am just trying to make trouble for the GOP? I love America and want a dammmed Conservative running the country, not a lying, flaming Liberal, which I believe Obama, and any of his supporters to be. End of story!! |
Your naivety is second only to Hussein (comrade in chief!). Read the global news, so far, Russia and other socialist governments are preparing to take back their leadership role in the world. Al Qaeda has promised to continue it's invasion. If you think Jihadists use reason when they attack 'infidels' then you are as naive as Hussein the comrade in chief! I suggest, you stop blaming Bush and think seriously how much the jihadists love to kill us - even before Bush became president, they had killed many americans and other non-americans. Hussein's speech will be viewed as weak gesture of surrender and jihadists deplore weak people. We will get attacked on our soil then you and all the dimwits can say - 'it's bush's fault' while we bury our dead. Then you can join Hussein in his next 'groveling mission' to the jihadists. Your views are disgusting at best and dangerous at worst. Why don't you post at Huffington post - that is where you will find 'jihadist apologists'. And NO HUSSEIN CAN'T STOP THEM WITH SPEECHES OR CONCESSIONS - they are plotting to kill us - period! |
when our enemies engage you then you can come and post in defense of their persuasive methods. Until then, we believe in the jacksonian view - 'if you threaten my family or my country I will kill you'. Is that simple enough? I sincerely hope when our enemies engage 'us' you will be among those they engage. |
Of course this is a wonderful idea -- long overdue.
If our current idiot-in-chief had ever bothered to educate himself about the other 99% of the world outside of his small, narrrow, rigid inner circle, maybe we wouldn't be such a mess right now. |
I was just thinking Bethlehem is more fitting for a 'messiah'. This is pathetic! I hope the 53% morons who voted him in will get it.....or maybe not! Bin Ladin would be proud:) |
I apologize if I misunderstood you. Wasn't privy to the earlier post. I am man enough to admit when I have made an error. |
Hussein should go to Mecca and kill two birds with one stone. Take his pilgrimage and give his speech after his pilgrimage is completed. I suppose this is when he gets his 'religious affiliation' correct? I am assuming the good imama who will swear him into office of the president, will be using the Koran, and reminding americans that there is no other God but Allah and Mohammed his prophet. I am also imagining this will be held in accordance to the Islamic laws that will usher in Sharia for the Gitmo 'freedom fighters' who have been held captive without any crimes except their fight to promote Allah as the only God and Mohammed as his only prophet. This is truly the change we can believe in. After all these years of oppression from the anglo-saxon protestant (occassionally catholic) whitey 'we will have our day' because this is 'our time' and 'we are the generation of joshua'. What a great gesture for our president elect! soon to be the foreign born president we have been waiting for. |
Don't hide behind the first amandment to spew your stupidity. You can say whatever it is you like, just like I got the right to respond to whatever you say! You know the 1st amendment goes both ways, right? What troubles me is that I get the sneaking suscipion more Republicans harbor the beliefs and feelings you to do than should(even though you two probably don't have the guts to say most of this garbage to anyone's face)And As a "good" Republican I just can't let what you to say go unchallenged, without letting you know of the irrevocable damage you are doing to the party. I get the impression you gals make phone calls for candidates, put bumper sticker on your cars, to support whatever Republican running. Thing is its the grassroots folks in the GOP the powers this boat, and if the grassroots people harbor thoughts like you and Ronna than we are in trouble. You see I am here to help my party and rid it of the backwards rednecks that have ruined it(not calling either of you girls rednecks). And I'm not going away either! |
that said something to the effect of not ousting Obama even if he couldn't prove his Citizenship because "it might upset the blacks." I put it in quotes for that reason. I did not say it. I am sorry if I offended you or anyone else by repeating what had been said by another. And you'll remember I also said........"or some such nonsense." Nonsense-meaning I don't personally believe it, O.K.? |
" Upset the blacks" what the hell does that suppose to mean!!!!! FYI, I am Black! Amazing! Here I am trying to convince most of my African-American friends that there is room for us in the GOP, that we have more philosphically in common with the GOP than we think, and here you go saying something stupid like that. You either just don't get it or don't care! |
We like it just fine right here on Townhall, besides if you will notice the very top of the page where it says "The Blogspot for Political, Conservative & Republican Blogs and Bloggers.
Ronna and myself have not gone off the deep end either, we are passionate in our morals and beliefs. Just as passionate mind you as those on the left are passionate about their beliefs.
If you don't like our posts, don't read them, but please note that we are also entitled to our opinions. I believe that falls under the First Amendment to the US Constitution. You remember that document dontcha?
As far as you stating that we want to see Obambi fail, you all should have thought about that for all the years that you were bashing Bush. You should have been smart enough to know that eventually Bush would leave office with a very real possibility that a Democrat would take over.
Its amazing how you all react when the shoe is on the other foot! Well, if the shoe fits..... |

I am no ones robot. I am not here to read off anybodies talking points. I am not here to counter, or defame anyone here. I want to INTELLIGENTLY discuss current issues of the day with like minded individuals. Where we as Republicans are right, no one will beat their chest harder, but when we are wrong I will say so. I agree Bush Bashing is wrong, and there is a Bush derangement syndrome out there, but Obama bashing (especially since he hasn't been sworn in) is as equally offensive. And kathy do you know why we shouldn't return the favor to the left, because we are better than that! We believe our ideas are better and that is all we need! |

Why doesn't he save a trip and just give the speech in Dearborn, Michigan. |
but I fear the points I tried to make in my posts may cause a lot of trolls to feel I am inarticulate, uninformed and just plain dumb just because I don't believe as they do, I suspect.
I am accused of being angry a lot, and I suppose I have to admit I am a little angry or at least upset at the apathy displayed by so many concerning such an important subject as proving one's legitimacy as a Presidential candidate.
We will have to live with him I suppose, for at least 4 years because the powers-that-be don't want to rock the boat and upset the blacks or some such nonsense. Actually though, I believe THEY are the ones who wanted him in the white house so he could do THEIR bidding.
Watch me be accused of being a conspiracy theorst now, ha ha. |

Its official Kathy and Ronna are off the deep end! Here's an idea why don't you two civic-minded gals renounce your Republican memberships and go form some other conservative, type of political party, that hates everybody who diagrees with them, wants to see the President fail because he's from adiffernt party, and likes to knit pick over birth certificates. Just a thought. |
Yes, I do get sick of the trolls that come here. I wouldn't mind if they were not so angry all the time. You would think that since their candidate won the election they would just be happy and go back to the Kos or Huffy Puffy. I guess we are stuck with them for a while longer.
BTW, you have made some great points in your posts today. You Go girl! |
whoever you are, answer this 'ONE' question, please:
WHY WON'T BARACK OBAMA SHOW HIS LEGAL,VAULTED, HOSPITAL AND COURTHOUSE-DOCUMENTED, ORIGINAL, TRUE AND LEGAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE --- NOT A COMPUTER-GENERATED "COPY" OF A BIRTH CERTIFICATE "WITH AN ARIAL FONT" NOT USED IN 1961 TO THE COURTS, AND TO ALL AMERICA SO HE CAN PUT THE MATTER TO BED ONCE AND FOR ALL, INSTEAD OF PAYING 3 SEPARATE TEAMS OF LAWYERS TO FIGHT THE CASE AGAINST DOING SO??
Please present only the facts now, and do it in a very articulate, informed, intelligent way, all right? Thanks so much, Ronna |
Dont you get so sick of some of the Obama defense team on this site? Why don't they go and post on Daily Kos? And you are so right - WE, not they will be having the last laugh! |
from a right to center Republican thanks! I think that the level of discourse in this country has hit an all time low. I don't agree with Obama on everything, but I think he loves America and wants to be the best President he can be. Do i think the most conservative/republican principles, are whats best for this country, of course! But I don't necessiarly think that if you disagree with me you are unpatriotic or a traitor. We need to find common ground in this country, Dems/Repubs, liberals/conservatives, and do whats best for America! I refuse to believe that we can't find common ground on issues that affect us all, and that we have to demonize our opponets. I also want to invite other GOPers who agree or disagree with me to check out my blog, Its My Party Too! We are better than what we have become. Like John McCain said so famously in 2000(and I am paraphrasing) "Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson on the left are just as dangerous as Pat Robertson and Jerry falwell on the right." |
" the Obama hatred found on Townhall is just as bad as the Bush hatred on Huffington Post and Daily Kos. Thanks for trying to counter it."
We are just returning the favor for eight years of Bush derangement syndrome.
BTW to earn respect one must give respect first. |
Hey buddy, you tell Ronna that the country is laughing at her. Not true, not true at all.
However, people like me and Ronna will be having a great laugh at your expense not very long after your messiah takes office next month.
We on the right will sit back and watch your messiah implode on a daily basis, and it will be funny to see you all with great big chunks of egg on your faces!
And yes, we know that somehow you and your ilk will try to blame Bush for the failings of your Messiah Obambi!
Ronna, we are gonna have the last laugh, but it won't be pretty in liberaland! Waaaa Waaaa Waaaa! |
From a liberal, thanks for adding some elements of sanity and realism to this thread. I will be checking out your blog after reading your reasonable posts here. Honestly, the Obama hatred found on Townhall is just as bad as the Bush hatred on Huffington Post and Daily Kos. Thanks for trying to counter it. |
Your right what I meant to say was thanks to the Bush Admin. But its unfortunate that you think that is ugly rhetoric. Fact... We are "perceived" to have lost creditability around the world because of Iraq. And who managed that war,you guessed it the Bush Adminstration. Calling "our" President-elect demonic, or a traitor with no basis for such an accusation "is" ugly rhetoric. But Anne you are missing my point, I agree with you,all we know about him is what he wanted us too, that's called politics, all polticians want us to only know what they tell us! You are right you should question him at every step, afterall he works for us. But Damn, can we please be rational about this and not get so personal! |
No matter all the bitching and moaning you do about birth certicicates, and religious orientation, the fact is he won and the Dems control both houses of Congress. The thing most Republicans don't get is that, the average American DOES NOT CARE!!! Sure this may make for great fuel among likeminded individuals, but guess what? Political parties are in the business of "winning" elections! Now that may be a new concept to some right-wingers out there but we are out of power! And why, not because we made compelling arguements ahout how dangerous it is to tax corporations and stimey small businesses from growing with his tax hikes, or how dangerous it is to announce a timetable for our troops in Iraq, no but by calling him a Muslim and accusing him of forging birth certificates...UNBELIEVEABLE. I refuse to believe that this is what the best minds in our party could come up with, but its what we did and we got exactly what we deserve. Now I am no Barack defender, but I don't think he is the boogey man. I pray for his success for MY COUNTR'S SAKE and wish him God's speed. Where he is wrong I will say so, but Ronna I think you are too smart to be engaged in these conspiracy theories(which may or may not be true)instead of trying to come up with a plan about why Republican ideas are better! Please for the sake of the party lets rise above the personal attack , remain above the fray! |

He can pick all the Clinton re-treads that he wants, but it looks like Obama is going to kow tow to the Islamofascist |
and inability to intellegiently articulate our views....
You mean rhetoric like, "repair our badly damaged moral standing around the world, no thanks to the Bush Administration?"
Or, did you mean "badly damaged moral standing around the world, thanks to the Bush Admin.?"
FIRST of all, we actually "know" NOTHING about Obama except what HE wanted us to know... That, in and of itself should make any American just a little concerned about any of his intentions.
And have we forgotten how truly naive Obama is? Have we forgotten that he actually invited himself to speak at Brandenburg Gate this past summer... (how embarrassing!) and Chancellor Angela Merkel actually had to "uninvite him?"
Who knows what his true intent is? And anyone who questions it, has every right!
for your enlightened information I was never a Bush supporter. But I am definitely NOT an Obama supporter like a lot of so-called Conservatives are now professing to be. And to call me names because I don't agree with your point of view shows your character, "or lack of it as it were." And ya know what? YOU WILL BE CRYING IN YOUR WHINE WITH YOUR CROW!!! And I will have the last laugh, because STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES! |
quote was inadvertently sent. My next one is what I was going to attach. |
might just be since they are making the case for a man who is definitely NOT of our party, and I happen to find that offensive.
I don't consider it crazy or irrational to believe a man's own words:
"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." From Obama's 'Audacity of Hope:
don't show his favoritism to the race of people who blew up our World Trade Centers and the Pentagon, plus another plane over Pittsburg with 184 people aboard, and killing nearly 3000 Americans in all.
I don't consider it crazy to believe that the copy of Obama's birth certificate on this site
http://moniquemonicat.wordpress.com/2008/11/08/httpmoniquem onicatwordpresscomobama-proof-he-was-born-in-kenya-fake-bir th-certificate/
when compared to another, (legitimate one) just underneath his of the same year is decidedly different (with a font that was NOT even used in the year 1961!) EXPLAIN THAT ONE AWAY IF YOU CAN!
I DON'T CONSIDER IT CRAZY OR IRRATIONAL TO BELIEVE HE MAY BE LYING ABOUT BEING BORN IN HAWAII WHEN HE HAS (3 TEAMS) OF ATTORNEYS FIGHTING SO HE DOESN'T HAVE TO PRODUCE A LEGAL BC FROM THERE. "WHY DOESN'T HE JUST PROVIDE IT??
I don't consider it crazy or irrational to believe that since he was raised a Muslim in his formative years and that he, by his own admission can recite the Koran in perfect Islamic dialect is a good thing when he can't recite the bible even after professing to have been a member of a Christian church for 20 years.
I don't consider it crazy or irrational to believe that he was arrogant and conceited for having had a personalized seal made up with a new personalized Logo sporting of picture of himself and the Words President of The United States BEFORE he had even been elected.
I have presented only the FACTS; is that what you call intelligently debating the issues in a rational and civil manner?

Is that the best response you can come up with. Repeating back to me my own quote! Here I am hoping to engage with a fellow republican basically about the future and "soul" of our party and the one I find talking the loudest on this blog prior to my comments has nothing to contribute...unfortunate. |
"You have been displaying your...ignorance in your support of a man whom you will be soon trashing because he is already beginning to show his true colors and hasn't even been sworn in yet."
Is that the best you have? That I'll soon be "trashing" Obama? Kinda like how GWB was a conservative icon for about 7 years? And what are his true colors? Pragmatism? Intellectualism? Thoughtfulness?
"You will see him in all his arrogance and conceit soon enough, and you will be eating a large helping of crow with that glass of whine."
Will that be like the GWB crow/whine you nutters are currently munching on? Is that the best you have, the argument that: "Obama sucks because...well, he'll suck soon enough. You wait and see!"
Ronna--the country (outside of HannityLand) is laughing at you. |
in the USA or abroad is not the point........ Yes, many Presidents have spoken abroad..... But, EXACTLY how many have planned and spoken openly of this.....2 MONTHS BEFORE BEING SWORN IN????? He's really full of himself..... |

N.J. writes: Thursday, December, 04, 2008 2:34 PM And to you Ronna Are you crazy are you just reading of some hate groups talking points! Do you really believe that Obama is a traitor to his country, that he hates America. Let me guess he's a covert operative placed here by Bin Laden to bring our country to its knees. And who are these "so-called conservatives" you speak of. Its amazing how some people in MY party think its only for them. And if you don't subscribe to their point of view your not really conservative or republican, how dare you! Its my party too, and I will stand up for it against people who spew nonsense instead of intelligently debating the issues in a rational and civil manner.

Tea party, first off I am not placing the entire bulk of our foreign policy problems at the the feet of the Bush Administration, but I am gonna place a large chunk of it there. It was Rumsfeld and Cheney's incompetence that got us in the muck we find ouselves in now. We were too hasty to invade and I believe we did not exhaust all of our diplomatic options before Saddam's removal. With that being said, Hussein was a bad guy, and I'm glad he's gone. But the way in which we framed the arguement, and the subsequent poor prosecution of the war is why we looked so bad. I agree with you a lot of the Dems who gave President that "blank check" turned around and used it as political hay when it was expedient, for that they are cowards! But what distrubs me most about you comment were the refernces to Obama's birth certificate and ACORN in the Iowa caucses or whatever the hell you were ranting about.Lets not get personal, the GOP has the better arguement on the issues, but when you resort to some unsubstatiated right wing propagada to make our arguements you dont help the cause. Instead you make us look silly, petty, and out of touch. Fact..Obama has won the Dems Iowa Caucus, its over! And let go of this ridiculuous notion that Obama wasn't born in Hawaii, stop believing everything Rush tells you! Until someone can legitimately prove he was born in Indonesia or whatever, he's the Presiden-elect. Hey make the point on being inexperinced, or that his policies could be harmful to the economic and domestic security of our nation, but leave the Limbaugh talking points out of it! Using this type of ridiculuos rhetoric is why most Americans think we are insensitive, racist, and out of touch. |

Sometimes it seems like I'm living in the Twilight Zone.
When I speak to my family and friends whom I love dearly I honest-to-God think I'm in the move "The Body Snatchers." I say to myself: They got him too?!

Lots of good points made. Kudos! |

"FUNNY Video Clip: "Shaking Hands with Saddam Hussein," Iraqi President Saddam Hussein greets Donald Rumsfeld, then special envoy of President Ronald Reagan, in Baghdad on December 20, 1983. [Windows Media Video (WMV). Opens in Windows Media Player] (Iraqi television; courtesy CNN) FUNNY FUNNY http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB82/"
Are you so insipid that you cannot differentiate between sending a "Special Envoy" and the President himself to deliver a message? I suspect yes. Of course, you've already mistated fact in this very thread, so I'm not surprised.

we must remain strong and vigilant against the so- called Conservatives who are constantly making the case for a man who has more than likely committed conspiracy and fraud against the country and it's Citizens, and partly because of that support, he will no doubt get away with it. |
You have been displaying your own self-characterized, (by your actions) ignorance in your support of a man whom you will be soon trashing because he is already beginning to show his true colors and hasn't even been sworn in yet. You will see him in all his arrogance and conceit soon enough, and you will be eating a large helping of crow with that glass of whine. |

How right you are!
I totally agree with everything you said, and yes sometimes I too feel like I woke up in a foreign country too, only the nightmare hasn't ended upon waking up!
God Bless |

NJ, just who did the damaging of our world reputation? Could it be the same gang of political mafiosi now running the 9% Congress/Senate? The same ones that voted for the WOT, before they realized they could make political hay by opposing it, ignoring the Logan Act by personal diplomacy, running our Country down overseas including this arrogant, inexperienced person with apparent questionable birth records? A person that had his minions bussed in to steal caucus votes in Iowa and other states, that had ACORN garner votes many times and often? I haven't forgotten his speech to thousands of beered up Germans, running MY country down and refusing to visit our wounded troops because he couldn't milk it for a photo op. And I have a problem with an employee, receiving his salary, and NOT doing the job he was hired for, instead interviewing for two of the three years he was "present" for a higher position. That's stealing from the employer, people don't get rewarded with promotions when they do that in the real world, they get canned. |

Iraq and Israel are the largest recipients of foreign aid. Egypt is behind both. Stones, glass houses, and all that…

I have read some of the points some of you have made about why the President-Elect shouldn't speak in the middle east, some of which I can agree with. But lets not get carried away with the name calling, "demonic.socialist,..." ,come on Ronna, really? This type of ugly rhetoric and inability to intellegiently articulate our views is why we took such a thumping to the Dems this past Nov. Lets give the guy a chance. From the nominations he has made to his national security team thus far, I feel reassured that he may not be the far left American apologist some have made him out to be. I believe that the true intent of delivering such a speech is to try to repair our badly damaged moral standing around the world, no thanks to the Bush Administration. |
We will surrender to the illegal alien invasion and we will surrender the fight against radical Islam. We can't be allowed to continue oppressing the world, you know. |
"what is the problem"
Selective principles and selective outrage.
Not withstanding that we ship billions of dollars of aid and arms to both countries, that we've supported these often oppressive autocrats for decades under Republican and Democratic leadership, it's an outrage that Obama might consider giving a speech in one of them. |
are egypt and saudi arabia and jordan not allies.
so conservatives have decided our enemy is all muslims? what about the 2 million muslim-americans here in the united states.
should they be sent to internment camps?
nixon went to china, reagan went to moscow bush went to viet nam.
what is the problem |

In what part of Obama's brain did he think it would be a good idea to bring this up NOW...right after what happened in Bombay and before he is even President...The man has no clue into the mindset and feelings of everyday Americans and he never has...This was a stupid thing to suggest and I think it will cause a firestorm with some of the people in America (at the the America I know)...We have too many problems in this country that need immediate attention instead of him running off to other parts of the world in his first 100 days. CLEAN UP YOUR OWN HOUSE FIRST BEFORE YOU GO VISITING!!! |
"He is, in my opinion, a Muslim with a demonic, Socialist and Communist agenda planned for we ignorant, apathetic Americans."
I couldn't agree more...with your self-characterized ignorance.
will never admit that they were wrong or that he is NOT who he professed to be when he was running for office as Senator or President. He is, in my opinion, a Muslim with a demonic, Socialist and Communist agenda planned for we ignorant, apathetic Americans.
and...the ignorance of so many people amazes me to my core. There are hundreds of thousands who don't even care that he is more than likely not even a Natural Born Citizen of the US and therefore not even eligible to run for ANY office in this country.
What is the matter with people? Have they been brainwashed? Don't they have a mind of their own anymore? Where is their patriotism? Why don't they want to make sure the Constitution and the laws of this country are upheld anymore?
Sometimes I think I must have gone to sleep and woke up in a freign country where Communism rules because there has never been so many fools falling for so much sh!t before in the history of this country. We, the American people have lost our beloved country. It happened when we closed our ears and our minds, and allowed the Godless Liberals to steal it - o n e 'apathetic mind’ a t a t i m e ! |

Now that would be a proper statement for the new American President on behalf of his nation.
In 732 AD, Charles Martel, (Charles the Hammer) and his Frankish infantry stopped a Moslem army of up to 400,000 under the command of Abd-er Rahman that is arguably the most important victory ever garnered by the Christian West over a foe bent on destruction and conquest. The battle at Tours ended Moslem conquest of Western Europe ... (until recent immigration policies etc.)
Now I know this President (and to be sincere no President) would make Tours their site for a statement to Islam as we battle the insanity that rages from within it but it would be a great declaration to those that only understand immediate and complete defeat.
If Mr. Obama goes into any Moslem capital and gives the world that pathetic bromide that America is not fighting their religion, only those that have hijacked it with terror and homicide, his speech will fail its purpose. He'll only show how out of touch he/we are with how to fight. It will embolden the extremists to kill more in that very capital just to show how they received the message.
A proper Islamic site might be an appearance at Hagia Sophia. At least it would be in a site where East straddles West and the rivalry between the secular West and religious fundamentalism is kept in check by a national identity that seeks a balance between radical Islam’s no mans land and a heritage that encompasses a world view.
Turkey over Jakarta, Istanbul over Cairo but a quick tour of the Loire Valley and a stop and nod at Charles the Hammer in the City of Tours if the President Elect wants to make a sound statement that will be heard by friends and foes alike.

"Should the political winds shift, I will stand with the Muslims" from "Dreams of My Father".
Need anyone know any more than that? |

Jakarta, Cairo........ How about Tehran?????? Or Damascus??????? Maybe Beirut??????
Who does this clown think elected him??????
He might want to consider, say........Kansas City, or perhaps Cleveland??????
I guess Louis Farrakhan's moniker for Obama, "The Messiah", is appropriate......
He certainly seems to have a messianic complex....

of the Universe, so why not? Cairo would not seem to fit his delusional aspirations. Why not give his speech from beneath the Azadi (Freedom) cultural complex tower which is located in Tehran's Azadi square? |
