Crunch Time for Rightroots: Help Us Out!
Posted by: Mary Katharine Ham at 8:57 AM
We endorse you. You endorse us. Thanks to Mike Bouchard for the Rightroots shout-out!

All right, it's crunch time, Townhall readers.

We've got less than 48 hours left in the Rightroots 15-day challenge to raise 100 donations for each candidate. Do y'all have any idea how much we've raised since Friday? More than $40,000 dollars. That's amazing! Our total is up to more than $93,000, and that kinda money can make a difference.

Thanks so much for your help thus far. If you haven't chipped in yet, please go on over and throw in for some candidates of your choice. Pretty please?

As conservatives, we have a choice. We can be cranky about the Republican majority--and I am!--and sit back and do nothing. Winners? Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

Or, we can be cranky about the Republican majority--feel free!-- and help some of the new conservative blood on the Rightroots list to get in there. If we had been cranky in 2004 and sat out of the election because we were mad at incumbents, we would have lost out on the likes of Thune, DeMint, Coburn-- all conservative rock stars who are doing more than many in the deliberative bodies to advance our causes.

Would it have made us better off to lose those guys? I don't think so. So, even if you're cranky (and I understand), pick a few Rightroots candidates that you think are worthy of a few bucks-- a small donation. Heck, $5 is fine. We don't want to miss out on these guys. We don't want to lose a Bouchard and gain another six years of Stabenow, and we can prevent it.

We're very close to our goal, and you can help us reach it, but we're running out of time.

Things have started to look up for Republicans in several areas lately. Take the ball and run with it! Thank you, as always!
