2 things on OBL in Pakistan
1) Pakistan has nukes! The US is unlikely to take any action against the territory of a nuclear power without permission.
2) Taking out OBL and Al Queda in the mountains of Afghanistan and Pakistan is akin to the assault on Iwo Jima or Okinawa, except ten times worse. You're looking at 10,000 Marines dead and a mountain is not an island, there's always a back road. Except for satellites, our technological advantage is gone. Can you bunker buster a side of the mountain. Can you bring in tanks, artillery. No, no, no.
Actually 3 things. Who's to say he's actually in Pakistan. How about Iran on the west side of Afghanistan. I hear Turkmenistan is nice this time of year. How about a chalet in a hideaway in Uzbekistan.

Then again, I guess it's the obvious one. I never thought the Democrats were actually capable of intimidating anyone, but they're really trying as far as ABC is concerned.
