Caroline thought the world wanted another Kennedy and believe me we have far too many. She was inarticulate, you know, she was uniformed on the issues other than promising to vote a straight party line as her Uncle does, and she hardly voted at all in past elections.I will not miss her.

I can only imagine that Caroline is planning to wait for Teddy to pass away and she'll move to MA and run for his seat here as a carpetbagger. Another scenario - he resigns, the general election is held and she's elected to the remainder of his term. No campaigning money to speak of would need to be spent. It's efficient and guarantees his legacy. I think TK is probably influencing her heavily and doesn't want the seat to go to some hack like Barney Frank or even potentially be up for grabs to Republicans. His legacy will be another Kennedy in his seat for at least two or three terms (18 more years...ouch)

I wanted Kennedy to be the new junior Senator from New York.
She is thoroughly unintelligible and she comes across as if she is a complete idiot. Also, a lot of New Yorker’s are really turned off by her parasitic sense of entitlement.
This would have made her a weak Democratic incumbent in the next scheduled election.
A good Conservative challenger, provided one could actually be found, would have had a better chance against her than say Cuomo.
New York’s Governor made an intelligent decision, at least as far as Liberals are concerned, when he signaled to Princess that she should withdraw her name from consideration in order to save herself the embarrassment of being publicly rejected.
This is bad news for Conservatives.

I voted for Obama not because I was overcome with emotion at picking him. I was faced with a choice. a cruddy choice at that. Those same 'buddies' got a sweet little no-bid contract to build the not needed sports center. Oh, but I'm sure it was all above board, eh? There is so much more, and you want to over look it all. If her name was 'clinton', you'd be all over her like white on rice. But she's a GOP 'superstar'. or so she thinks. I only point out the double standards you all have for your leaders.
