There Stands Hillary, Like A Stonewall, Part 2: Why Hillary Should Release The Names Of The Hsu Network Funding Her Campaign
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 11:37 AM
As noted below, Hillary's campaign is stonewalling media requests for the names and amounts of bundled campaign contributions delivered to her by fugitive Norman Hsu, a big contributor and fund-raiser for her presidential campaign.

If you missed it, Hsu skipped a hearing yesterday, forefiting his $2 million bail:

Democratic Party fund-raiser Norman Hsu skipped a court date in California yesterday, forfeiting $2 million in bail on 1991 grand-theft charges and becoming a fugitive, amid lingering questions about his role in helping to finance key campaigns this year.

Investigators tracking Hsu ought to call Hillary's campaign people and immediately demand the names of every bundled contributor as these are people the fugitive is most likely to contact.  If Hsu isn't grabbed today or tomorrow, I doubt very much if we will ever get him --Hillary's preferred outcome, of course.  But just because she's got to be hoping he gets back to Hong Kong before the police catch him doesn't mean authorities should allow her campaign to refuse to turn over very relevant information.

Those names are key to the attempt to catch up with Hsu.  They should be demanded and turned over today.  Perhaps even the threat of having his network publicized would get the fugitive to come in from the cold.

I thought this sort of thing
was a matter of public record. Just "Hard Money" I suppose, an excellent title for Mr. Hsu's tell all.

Give me Hillary's Hsu money over W's MBNA and Halliburton cash any day.

liberal deflection
What Chris is trying to do is deflect the reality that Hillarys campaign accepts money from anyone no matter how dubious a character they are. If you cared to look MBNA and Halliburton contributes to both sides to cover their backsides. The real question should be is convict Hsu funneling money into our political process for a foriegn govt.(China)?

WHERE IS THE DEMAND FOR ROMNEY????
Hugh, any intellectual honesty left? Why are you not making a similar call on Mitt Romney to turn over all information regarding Alan Fabian. You know, the Alan B. Fabian who was charged in a 23 count indictment, including charges of money laundering, mail fraud, perjury and obstruction of justice. Fabian was more than just a bundler for Romney. He was Romney's Finance Co-Chairman.

Hugh, you have become a farce with your blind partisanship. Either be consistent or perhaps you ought to stick to movie reviews.
KGK writes: Thursday, September, 06, 2007 12:50 PM
And?
If Hsu is found in Hong Kong; if Charlie Trie and John Huang are found with him; if the secret papers are found that other Clintonistas have taken to protect the Clintons(Burglar???); if they really did kill Vince Foster; so what? No scandal will ever stick to these thugs. Not one. The media will protect them till Jesus comes. Their policies have been disastrous for America. So what? The non-thinking, emotive voters will elect a star thrust team because it makes them feel good not to ever go to war, it allows them to hate the rich and producers, it allows them more latitude for socialist pacifism. Sorry but as of now, I see no consequenses for these Clinton corruptors. The only thing that might, might beat these two hypocrites and pharisees is to present a free enterprise, tax cut, win the war, reform the tax code, all more opportunities for ownership, end the death tax, allow vouchers in education. Whoever uses that agenda might overcome the criminality of these Clinton thugs and their really corrupt Party. Not pennywise Craig type tapping shoes in a men's stall!

Cancer!
At least Hillary is not making specious cancer scares about anyone, like the renowned Dr Hewitt.

Christopher ?
Hehehehe...

The liberal denial grows...

Why did Hillary and Bill give Contracts to Halliburton when they were in office?

Whatever happened to Hillary's money earned from being on the board of the dreaded Walmart?

And did Christopher enjoy Hillary Rodham and Bill Clinton making it their policy to lie about the genocide in Rwanda?

Oh wait, does Chris believe Hillary did not really vote to authorize the use of force in Iraq?

Democrats remain truly bizarre.

The Clinton Corruption is simply a joke.

And Democrats are embracing it.

Bill Cross writes: Thursday, September, 06, 2007 1:16 PM
Hey Christopher
Did you shadow Michael Moore's stock purchase of Halliburton common?

It's my understanding he made a mint on Halliburton by slamming its business pracices in public. Then he bought it on the cheap and rode it up.

Schumer is vile and Clinton's core support consists of felons and con-artists.

A true center-right commentator is capable of discussing the positions of their opponents accurately and without calling them a bunch of silly names.

Hugh Hewitt cannot and thus is not center-right as he claims. He is not much better than the authors of the Clinton Chronicles.

Many of those who read and post here are worse, calling for Schumer to by lynched, but Hugh is the leader, the one on the radio: the primary voice.

It is appropriate to expect more of him than we do of anonymous posters, but anyone who holds those expectations is consistently disappointed.

let's seize and sell all of Hsu's property, since he's got some outstanding debts left over from his last foray into fugitivedom.

It's easy to do, and should be done, immediately.

Obfuscation # 3, # 4, # 5...
Are duly noted here. Liberals such as, "Christopher", "NoiseOfTreason", "richard_2-be-or-not-2-3" all chime in with nothing other than deflecting and turning the situation around.
NoiseOfSeason actually hits a twofer by also chastising Hewitt similar to his comments in Part 1 of this story. So that is Chastise # 2.

Bottom Line:
Not one comment made against Hsu's contribution to Hillary's campaign. Rather, just the opposite has been done. Still counting.....

Democrat Central Committee
Since California is run by the Democrat Central Committee albeit with a figurehead/puppet Rhino Govenator, and San Mateo is in the heart of the deep-blue Democrat base with a headquarters right off Airport Boulevard near SFO - maybe they should look there for Hsu?
With the whole Bay on one side, I have the feeling that finding him may be like finding Jimmy Hoffa...
biPOLar writes: Thursday, September, 06, 2007 3:15 PM
Hsu
Sorry if Clarity Seeker didn't find what he was looking for.

Yes, Hsu skipped bail and I believe he is a crook. Clinton is giving his contributions to charity.

Romney's co-chair apparently has some peculiar practices.

Romney's core support does not routinely meet in airport Men's Rooms and Clinton's core support are not felon's and con-artists.

Hewitt's name calling is unconvincing and beneath him.

I hope that is clear enough for you.

biPOLar writes: Thursday, September, 06, 2007 3:20 PM
Hewitt is not alone
"So, Congressman Paul ... you’re basically saying that we should take our marching orders from al Qaeda?" Fox host Chris Wallace asked. "If they want us off the Arabian Peninsula, we should leave?"

Of course Paul said Wallace was wrong, but the framing of that question is, dare I say it, unfair, unbalanced and dripping with conservtive bias.

Clinton's Skate Justice in CA Again
This case sounds a great deal like the late 1990's Federal case of Chinese "businessmen" with Clinton campaign finance connections skipping town after they got caught with a shipment of AK-47's they were trying to sell to LA gangs.

Both cases had the same kind of "let them go" Democratic prosecutors involved.

I wonder what kind of connections a privately funded Republican/Conservative data mining expedition (AKA "Able Danger for the masses") would find between Hsu and those people.

This Hsu character opens Hillary up to all kinds of connections to the Clinton late 1990's Chinese campaign finance shady operations.

A statement for the ages -
'There is no controlling legal authority.'
Who said that?
The Chinese connection ought to be looked into.
Keep a watch on the rise and deployment of a Chinese 'Blue water' Navy. It will come quickly now that with the help of the Berkleyites at LANL.
Who, under the watchful eye of Bill Richardson (Energy Secretary) and the Clintonites, saved the Chicoms incalcuable money to say nothing of decades of testing and development by having the assembly planning of the W88 warhead delivered to them. All for some campaign cash plus a little on the side for the 'Bill Clinton Legal Defense Fund'. Odd isn't it?
But what the heck, it not like money from a Buddhist Temple or anything like that? Right?
As for Mr. Hsu, he'll go missing until mid-November 2008 whereupon the MSM will postulate theories on his whereabouts or perhaps explain his fatal 'accident'.

"Operation Broken Board"
11 politicians, all Demorats, arrested today in New Jersey---the state where demorats Robert Torricelli and James McGreevey hail from.

Wow, this Republican "party of corruption", sure is a bad influence on the demorats. What is really sad is their blatant effort to "one-up" republicans in sleazy politics.

11 politicians---all from one party, the Democrats. What a pathetic story---it will be interesting to observe the amount of time, attention, newsprint, catterwalling, overanalysis this engenders from the mainstream media. It will be very interesting.

how convenient---Clinton donating $23,000. of Hsu's contributions to charity. How much has Hsu contributed to the Clintons? Over $200,000. dollars from one family alone, the Paws of Day City, CA.
How much has Hsu donated himself? Still to be determined. Amazing that this man would sacrifice $2,000,000.00 of bail money in not making court appearance. With that kind of money to BURN, there must be massive quantities being funneled and diverted and directed towards Hillary's coffers.
Meanwhile, the Clintons make a selfless and heroic offer to give back $23,000.
Pocket change.

clinton's modus operendi
An embarrassment shows up with the clintons and big surprise, thousands of dollars in illegal donations are at issue. The next part of the puzzle, the embarrassment disappears leaving behind his bail. Probably hsu will never be seen again but the dims and the clintons again profit from illegal cash. Why are the clinton's always associated with this type of contribution. The old saw proves tyrue. Set a thief to find one

That's why she's stalling. Her campaign is full of filth. And I don't mean just the funny money if you know what I mean. Opportunity for Bloggers
We need to know everything about Hsu's background...the source of his money, the people he bundled it through, which Clinton officals, past and present he's been in contact with, his business dealings, his illegal dealings.

It's a safe bet the MSM will drop the ball almost entirely. This is the time for an army of bloggers to rally round and investigate everything about Hsu.

Time is short. California tried once to let Hsu disappear like so many other foreign-born Clinton contributors. Perhaps if we can accumulate enough information about Hsu's mis-doings that even California will attempt to hang on to him, and maybe protect him from future illnesses and accidents.
