Pelosi claims they'll have the votes by this afternoon to pass Obamacare through the House. He's banking on converting one-third of these "undecided" votes into "yes" votes. Via Politico:

I called all the fence sitters in Colorado, and got through each time. I was polite, but i left no doubt my disgust with this bill. They said my sentiments would be passed on. Markey is dead meat if she votes for this, because her district is a center right district. She won because she spent $2 or $3M of her own money. Plus, here in Colorado we have an openly gay fat cat, who since 06' has been spending huge sums of money on leftists. Markey and Salazar will both lose in 10' if they vote for this mess, and they know it, too. |

Has posted on his web via the House of Reps website that he is not going to vote for the bill. Saved me from writing him...but still going to send him a message so that he knows that I approve of his vote. You need to let the ones that are voting against the bill to keep their spines because they are going to be whipping posts for the Dem elite if this bill does not pass. |

He stands there grandstanding saying they only had a short time to read the Republican bill - every time the Republicans tried to have input they have been shut out, voted down in committee or just plain locked out. He says the Repub alternative is complicated and should be voted down in favor of the Dem 2000 page plus bill - he won't admit the Dem bill is not just complicated it is full of smoke and mirrors. It is only about HIGHER TAXES, OUTRAGEOUS SPENDING AND UNION PAYBACKS in the interest of the democratic party. It does nothing to help the uninsured unemployed now - not until at least 2013 - THIS IS A MANUFACTURED CRISIS FOR THE DEMOCRATS PLEASURE. |

It is totally insane that these idiots haven't even read or understand what is in the bill. Is this what passes for law making and representative government these days?
Just ask any one of them to describe what is in the bill and you will get nothing but mumbo jumbo and dodge speak. They are going to vote on a bill that they are totally ignorant of what it contains.

Markey voted "no". I live in her district and I can tell you, she's a gonner regardless. Her "no" vote is one of desperation. Cory Gardner or Tom Lucero will be our next Rep in CD-4. Neither is a moderate. They are both attractive and politically savvy.
The Dem Congress just signed their pink slips.
