The Friends Of Obama
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 5:54 PM
Marathon Pundit reviews Obama senior advisor Jim Johnson's unusual home borrowing history.  Johnson is overseeing the Veep selection process for Obama.

Like Obama receiving special favors from Tony Rezko, Johnson seems to have benefitted nicely from his public "service."

Wouldn't you like the election to be based on church; then from your smug little perch, you could pass judgement. But it ain't, it's not about some Saint, but a man, who speaks to the people, yes, we can!
MaryStella writes: Tuesday, June, 10, 2008 9:05 PM
The Obama, we don't know!
There is the matter of judgement, and the roots of his political character, when putting it in historical context. For 20 years attending, religious guidance of the church of Rev. Wright, Father Pfleger, plus direct association with Louis Farrakhan. Rev. James Meeks, another Chicago pastor, again mixed politics and pulpit, at Obama's Trinity Church.
We can conclude by now, Senator Obama, was influenced by the RADICAL, views, and morals of these men and shared their vision, as well.
Senator Obama's denying he ever heard Rev. Wright's incendiary remarks in 20 years, while attending the Church, though being aware of pastor's political views, all and all speaks volume of Obama's candor and convictions. Indeed, Most disingenuous. Hmmmmmm, Adding criminals: Ayers, Dohrn, Rezko, and finally, Rashid Khalidi (friend of Hamas and Hezbollah.)
Yes, It is the matter of Judgement.
And Obama's Character.
And the company he keeps.
Hmmmmmmmmm.

Yes, were the The Keating 5, part of the Weathermen Undergound 60's Terrorist group that blew up American buildings , Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn? (or Are they Obamas' close friends?) It was Bill Ayers lamenting to New York Times, "I do not regret setting bombs, I feel we didn't do enough", in an interview, on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001.
My regrets to Obama, his very close friend, benefactor, associate, Antion "Tony" Rezko, his political fixer, got what he deserved.
By the way, where is his close buddy; friend of the PLO, and Hezbollah, Rashik Khalidi? Still teaching?

Bad men
And while we're on the subject of dirty rotten scoundrels mixing it up with our leaders, how about the *new* revelation that Abramoff DID INDEED have a close alliance with the WH! He was there with top officials over 72 times! Does this mean that Bush - gasp! - LIED to us when he said he "barely" knew Jack? Why, yes. It would seem so.

Considering that McSame headed the commission to 'get to the bottom' of the scandal - finally releasing only a few pages of documented findings out of the thousands of pages he collected - it would seem that McCover-Up did some pretty nasty covering up.

Lobbyists with blood on their hands
Obama will most likely get rid of him - after all, it's the Veep position he's "helping" with, so no great loss.

On the OTHER hand, where's the coverage here at TH regarding McSame's lobbyist enclave? He is literally surrounded by the worst of the worst: Charlie Black (Marcos lobbyist), Phil Gramm (UBS lobbyist helping the super rich hide their money from the IRS off shore, Enron enabler), and "the Dougs" Davenport and Goodyear, who helped buck up the Burma Juntas. Susan Nelson and Tom Loeffler. Did I miss anyone? Oh, probably.

Friends? Me thinks not!
More like cohorts aren't they? You know, partners in crime, accomplices in wrongdoing, fellow lawbreakers, conniving opportunists, etc. etc., etc. And to think there are actually poeple who are dunb enough to vote for Obama. Boggles the mind. The Rapper 50 cent is concerned for his safety. He said:
I believe that if Obama becomes President, someone will kill him. Hmmmm

I really like babakazama and his dipsh!t pals.

Even Tony Rezko sounds like a gas.

So does anyone think that back in the day, before he went big time, ol' babakazama, Rezko, Wright etc ad nauseum, used to sit down for a pleasant game of Tonk? Or maybe some rounds of the bones?

I'll bet babakazama has a hard time keeping up with Jeremiah Wright when he gets to crumbin,' yessir.

For those of you who aren't blacker than babakazama, like I am, to crumb is to dish the dirt in a big kind of way. You won't find that out at the Post Office "Balck History Month" Display...they kind of omit things like that.

This is sort of like ol' Bill Clinton, back when HE was first black president (snicker), telling people he thought were rednecks that he had astro-turf in the back of his El Camino too.

Yep. I like babakazama. But he will NEVER get my vote.

Eric Holder?
Great, another embarrassing relative of the already insufferable RINO, "Nose" Holder.
Buster writes: Monday, June, 09, 2008 8:29 PM
What about Eric Holder?
Obama's first act was to pick three people for the VP search committee.

You have to be blown away with the sterling judgment demonstrated. Johnson covered above. Then Kennedy - with no qualifications except she has the direct number to Ted.

And from what Dick Morris says, it was Eric Holder while at Justice during the Clinton years who ran with the Marc Rich pardon and got it through. Hi might also have been involved with the leg work on the FALN Puerto Rican terrorists pardons (if I recall correctly).

When the Rich pardon came out there was disbelief about skipping the normal Justice procedural hoops and questions about how did could this happen.

Holder's judgment in recommending that pardon for Rich and pushing it through doesn't make you feel very good about Obama's decision to put him on the team.

So, Obama 0 for 3 in his first 3 high level selections.

The point made below is a good one. How about some discussion on domestic oil capacity that the old goat should focus on for the homestretch into November vs. another parade of Obama and his foolish choices in friends? McCain painted himself into a bit of a corner with the no drilling in ANWR schtick. What's next, "No coastal drilling platforms forever?" If ANWR was in production today, we could tell Hugo Chavez to drink his oil. With no petro dollars, he'd be dancing the fool's jig he does dance - at the end of a rope strung up by Venzuelans sick of his clown act.

Obama would have us all giving up our cars, our modern conveniences to get pats on the back from the rest of the world. Some of those patting hands will be holding knives. How about some analysis of what McCain should zero in on to show he's a serious POTUS candidate vs. not being the "other guy?" Obama is a smooth talking bonehead, we get that. What does McCain bring, eh?
