That is our code. You cannot have my vote if you lie in public and dont apologize for it. I thought you were Mr. Straigtalk! What happened? Did Mr. Huckabee got you into this? At least that's the only reason I could think of. Come on now, you came from the military, don't destroy our integrity as a whole. Please! You are embarassing our country! |

as McCain. How is McCain-Kennedy not an amnesty? Would it be amnesty if the penalty was $5? Is there any reason to believe that Congress won't go back and reduce the "penalty" later? Does it allow illegals the right to stay in this country? Yes. Does it prohibit prosecution of illegals for identity theft and use of another's social security number? Yes.
There is very little difference between McCain and Hillary. If I am going to get a president that sponsors McCain-Feingold (restricting political speech), McCain-Kennedy (providing amnesty to all illegal immigrants), McCain-Lieberman (imposing a global warming tax on American companies), McCain-Edwards (for trial lawyers), McCain opposition to Bush Tax Cuts in 2001 and 2003, and the McCain Gang of 14 (preventing confirmation of conservative judges).
There is a reason why the ultra-liberals are pushing so hard for McCain. He is one of them and he can't win in November (he is getting nothing but positive press now, has name recognition, his poll numbers are hollow -- they won't last when the media turns on him).
If McCain is the nominee, conservatives will sit out the general election and McCain will go down in monumental proportions. But it won't be that big of a deal to conservatives -- we will have accepted our defeat when McCain won the nomination.

to be a conservative while he fund raised for planned parenthood, making up NRA endorsements, saying he is a life long hunter, blaming his staff for falsely calling McCain's bill amnesty, blaming the contractor for having illegal workers on his lawn, for implementing a mandatory healthcare system that included $50 co-pays for abortion, for lying to americans about seeing his parents marching with MLK. And then he needs to apologize for using his money to negatively attack all republican candidates and bringing so much negativity in this primary just because he can afford it. American's ought to reject this negative, twisted, phoney and send him back to the washington lobbysts who are advising him to pretend he is a washington outsider. SERIOUSLY! |

Smiling Juan Hernadez We know who he is, we know his loyalties are to Mexico, we know he wants to erase our borders and immigration laws.
JOHN MCCAIN, YOU NEED A NEW HEARING AID
Smiling Juan Hernandez In case you don't know him, he used to work for the Mexican govt., lately he has been shilling for "rights" for illegal aliens in this country. He has said he wants Mexicans to remain Mexicans even if they are living here. His loyalties are to Mexico, not U.S.
Questions for illegal apologists like John McCain:
Why does The National Council of the Race (la raza in spanish) and the Chamber of Commerce get to negotiate a "Comprehensive Shafting of The American Citizens" behind closed doors? Since when does an organization representing foreign nationals breaking our laws get to rewrite our immigration laws to suit the lawbreakers? Isn't this akin to allowing NAMBLA to rewrite our laws regarding child predators? Or allowing organized crime syndicates to rewrite racketeering, gambling, prostitution, and extortion laws?
We The People are being told by our representatives that we should sit down and shut up while they invite in the entire world. We The People should get some say in this matter. Another amnesty will set off a stampede like we have never seen before. There is not much time to save our country. All the money and power are on the side of shoving this amnesty down our throats. The RNC wants an amnesty candidate, don't vote for one. |

While emphasizing to the New Hampshire audience tonight that to withdraw precipitously would bring considerable "regional consequences," Romney emphasized in some of the most detailed language he's used yet about the conflict that he sees the surge that Petraeus and Crocker are to report on as the first element in a three-step process designed to minimize the American presence in Iraq.
After the surge, Romney said he envisioned a draw-down of U.S. troops where those who remained would take on a "support role" away from the front-lines.
Beyond that phase, Romney said he would then like to move to a "stand-by" posture. "Our troops are out of Iraq and are available if absolutely needed" at this point, he explained.
He said he sees these three phases "happening relatively soon," specifically noting that if progress is made getting to the "support role" could happen next year. But while hoping for the best, Romney noted that he'd be monitoring the situation closely "to see what kind of success we are having at each stage."

John McCain says that he has heard the American people and now understands that we need to secure the border before enacting any “comprehensive” immigration reform. But John McCain has also said that he hasn’t changed his position. He supported amnesty in 2003 by name, proposed it in 2006 and 2007 without calling it amnesty, and says that anyone who says that he ever supported amnesty is a liar. He has insulted Americans who advocate border security and has cursed at the thought of building a border fence. Which of all of these is the real John McCain? The presence of Juan Hernandez in the background of the McCain campaign tells me that John McCain is as weak on border security now as he ever was.Old school Hot Air readers might remember Dr. Juan Hernandez. He’s a dual citizen of the US and Mexico, was a member of Vicente Fox’s government, and is as open borders as you can get. In December 2006, Michelle hosted the Factor and the producers decided to see what it would be like to put her and Hernandez on the show together. “Chummy” does not describe the atmosphere.

Our Constitutional Republic rests on the premise of consent of the citizens. If you succeed in jamming this amnesty down the throats of the American citizens you will have broken the contract. You will have rendered my citizenship meaningless. I will henceforth consider myself just another permanent resident. All of my positive citizenship activities will stop. I will remove the U.S. flags from my home and vehicles. I will ignore whatever laws get in the way of my "having a better life", just like the illegal aliens. I will dodge jury duty. Shade on my taxes any time I can. No more Good Samaratin acts. No more litter patrols. No more volunteering. No more charitable donations. No more USO donations. My son will not serve in your Armed Forces. I will only be looking out for myself, just like the cheap labor importers and hispandering vote whores. God help the U.S.A.

I once thought JM was a man of courage. I know recognize him as a deceptive snipe. Noone in his right mind would think that Romney supported a timetable for withdrawal based on the words quoted. McCain's internal polling numbers must be tanking bigtime for him to pull this BS out of backside.

This is the straight talker? McCain must be seriously scared to resort to blatant lies. I'm surprised he didn't wait to do the day before the primary. I can't see what benefit it gives him to have the MSM pointing out that he is dissembling. |

But Mac is too busy celebrating tonight. Tomorrow will bring some sanity as people relax and think about the candidates. Cooler heads will prevail at the voting booth. Mitt will do well and Mac will be old news as the word continues to get out about his advisers and record.
Mac has a certain level of contempt for the average American and thinks his POW experiences give him a pass on the policies that matter most to thinking Americans. Life and safety do matter no matter how he tried to cover his voting tracks.
His swearing and temper reveal the real man and he's angry inside. His attacks on Mitt reveal the real deal - and he's boiling and on the attack.
It is one thing to be assertive in getting out the facts and record, it is another to be mean spirited and dirty.
Winning at any price is too high a price.

We should not hold our breath waiting for John McCain to apolotize to Gov. Romney. It is beneath 'HIS ARROGANCE' to apologize. |

"The next President of the United States must be a leader of courage, not a weather vane who shifts in the wind. John McCain will not waver in the face of the enemy. He's been tested under fire in war and did not wilt on Iraq when the polls went south and the drumbeat for withdrawal grew louder. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Governor Romney. When it came to unequivocally advocating and supporting the successful surge in Iraq, John McCain was rock solid while Governor Romney sought political cover by indicating his support for secret' withdrawal timetables. At a critical moment, John McCain proved that he was ready to be Commander in Chief. Unfortunately, Governor Romney didn't. Governor Romney failed the test of leadership on the most crucial national security issue facing the United States with American combat forces in the field; he wilted. John McCain stood tall."

In launching the ad the McCain campaign also released a statement from U.S. Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger and former CIA Director R. James Woolsey:
"We couldn't disagree more with Governor Romney's recent suggestion that foreign policy experience really doesn't matter when it comes to evaluating who should be our next president and commander in chief. America is at war. Our military forces are engaged in Iraq, in Afghanistan and elsewhere against a determined, vicious enemy. We are facing serious challenges, in a nuclear-armed Pakistan, in Latin America with the rise of Hugo Chavez, and in other corners of the globe. In such dangerous times, John McCain has the necessary experience and judgment to strengthen our national security and lead our nation and allies. He has had extensive contact with foreign leaders and military officials. John McCain has been on the ground in many of the world's hot spots, including several trips to Iraq and Afghanistan, and also the tribal areas of Waziristan. As an ex-Navy pilot and POW, he understands first-hand how political decisions in Washington impact those serving in our Armed Forces. On Iraq, John McCain's experience and judgment served him well. For years, despite public opinion, he called for a surge of forces and a new strategy in Iraq to prevail against our enemies -- a strategy that is now succeeding. In contrast, Governor Romney, with no national security experience, was a follower on Iraq, while John McCain showed strong leadership and vision."
