Clinton Cries in Connecticut (Update: Am I the Girl Who Cried 'Cry'!)
Posted by: Mary Katharine Ham at 11:29 AM

You know what they say. The problem with a milking cow is it won't stay milked.

Which, now that I write it, sounds like an unfortunate knock on Hillary when it's really meant to be a metaphor for winning over women voters. Which, now that I write it, sounds like an unfortunate knock on women voters.

But I digress. Point is, she had to go back to the well on the crying thing. It worked with women last time, and voters who are just tuning in had to get a snapshot of "human," "emotive" Hillary just in time for tomorrow:
Sen. Hillary Clinton teared up this morning at an event at the Yale Child Study Center, where she worked while in law school in the early 1970s.

A doctor, who was introducing Clinton, began to choke up, leading Clinton's eyes to fill with tears, which she wiped out of her left eye. At the time, the doctor was saying how proud he was that sheepskin-coat, bell-bottom-wearing young woman he met in 1972 was now running for president.

"Well, I said I would not tear up; already we're not exactly on the path," Clinton said with emotion after the introduction.

Update: Allah says he thinks the tears are genuine. I say nope. If she thought tears would be more damaging than beneficial, why would she make verbal reference to them instead of just sucking it up and moving along. She could have covered better than, "Well, I said I would not tear up."

She might as well have been wearing a neon sign over her head saying "Women voters, look here for empathy and new, improved, life-like feelings!" I say the tears are just like a talking point; she keeps repeating them for newcomers to the race.

Update: Allah's added video of the Hillary incident, and it looks like we have an alternative explanation-- a coughing fit. Alas, was I too quick to think ill of our Hill. I should know better.

I don't know, though. Why make reference to "tearing up" if you're not tearing up? Nontheless, it wasn't much of a misty moment, if that's all there is to see.

Maybe the Tears Will Work on Ahmadinejad

Perhaps we are being to hard on Billary. Maybe the "tears on cue" will work with Ahmadinejad, or Kim Jong-il, or Hu Jintao, et al.

Getting back to Hillary's tears,
__She was introduced with a line say that she, "will always be a champion for children.", and how correct that statement is. The liberal left base never got out of the diaper stage, or pouting, spoiled, child stage. Tears, and emotional displays, real, or fake, are a part of their lives. When they talk of change, it is of the soiled diapers worn by a base that has never been potty trained, or learned to clean up their own mess. It is always someone elses fault with these spoiled brats, has they cry crocodile tears in distress. These children, in the bodies of adults, cannot stand on their own two feet, and are of no TRUSTWORTY benefit. I trust my black lab more then I would ever trust a demoncrat.

All one needs to know about Juan McCain is the Kennedy/McCain Amnesty legislation that was shoved down our throats last year four times. He is a traitor and has violated his oath to the Constitution. He has sold out Americans to the North American Union which would destroy American Sovereignty.

According to Juan McCain, his Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill is not Amnesty and anyone that says that is a liar. 90% of the public disagrees and shutdown the congressional switchboard voicing their objections to Amnesty last year.

Proof that Senator McCain is a liar is that he appointed Dr. Juan Hernandez, as the McCain Hispanic outreach director. The former Ministry for Mexicans Living in the United States under Vincente Fox.

Hernandez is an open border advocate and is a dual citizen of Mexico. In an interview on ABC News’s Nightline, Hernandez stated bluntly that he was betting that the Mexican American population in the United States –all generations– “will think Mexico first…”I want ‘em all to think Mexico first.

He lobbied for illegal alien driver’s licenses and Mexico first, defended Mexican bus operators carrying illegal aliens to the USA, and promoted extending banking privileges to illegal aliens and has supported the La Reconquista of the American Southwest.(Return of the Southwest to Mexico)

If Juan McCain is elected, I would be willing to be that Juan Hernandez would be appointed to ICE to oversee the McCain Amnesty program that would give some 30 million Illegal’s citizenship and retro active SS benefits.

…and the MSM calls this liar a War Hero?

Not Honorable

It is not honorable to conspire behind closed doors with Ted Kennedy and La Raza against the American people.

It is not honorable to try to rush an amnesty for foreign nationals illegally in our country AND their employers through Congress without committee hearings shortcutting the normal process.

It is not honorable to have contempt for the will of the people. "I'll build the G-D fence if they want it."

For you broken records out there, that keep bringing up Bush this and Bush that, here is a newsflash for you. "GEORGE BUSH IS NOT ON THE BALLOT, AND HE CANNOT RUN FOR PRESIDENT ANYMORE."
"George Bush,is making the world cry." What a pathetic childish statement that is. You libs are just plain spineless and jelly-like. "George Bush has made the world a sadder place." Boo hoo hoo, Are there really human beings out there that are that sickening? Jeez, get a spine America.

Joe, Hillary Thanks You

The Stupid Party

The RNC wants an amnesty candidate.

Don't vote for one.

Another amnesty will result in Democrat majorities for decades, or until they are supplanted by the La Raza Party, why doesn't the RNC know that? How stupid do you have to be to import voters for the opposition at the same time you alienate your own voters? Nominating any of the amnesty supporters is a losing proposition, we will not support them. If the GOP intends to surrender our sovereignty and abandon the rule of law, they will find in November 2008, that they still have their big money/cheap labor donors, but they do not have voters. many of us still have our own dog in this fight. Once the nom. is decided the troops will rally around whoever the candidate is. The clintons still represent a situation no sane person wants to see return to power. It's not just the missus clinton's ideas but the problem of not knowing what deals bubba has cut with foreign dictators for all those millions that are now lining his bank account and the millions more he would probably seek to get his hands on

Keep pratting on "ReadABook" you show your lack of...well you fill in the blank. You read books after all as evidenced by your "crap on the pile" comment and "Hypocritical fascist.." blah, blah, blah.

Does the GOP Want to Survive?
To win over liberal voters from McCain's liberal supporters, all Hillary will need to do is cry.

McCain is not strong on illegal immigration. He fights for liberal policies.

McCain is not strong on the economy. He says he's not even interested in it.

McCain is not even strong on defense. He stabs our military in the back with his tantrums on Gitmo and water boarding.

McCain is not strong on life. He inhibits the political speech of right to life organizations.

McCain is not strong on free speech. He thinks talk radio is a problem.

Conservatives are not going to stand for such an unacceptable nominee. The real heart of the GOP is conservative. Where with the GOP be without a heart? Dead.

There's very little time to derail the McCain (D, Arizona) train to Democrats winning in the fall. A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain.

Support Romney before it's too late.

Does The GOP Want To Win?

Securing the border and enforcing the law is the only way we get to keep our rule of law, our representative Republic, and our Constitution. We must elect a President who WILL secure the border and enforce the law. If citizenship becomes meaningless, this will no longer be the United States of America.

McAmnesty will not get out the voters necessary for a GOP win. Increasing turnout is the key. Give people something to vote for. Not just the lesser of two evils. Won't work this time. People are fed up with the inundation of illegal aliens. They would come out in droves for the clear choice of D=amnesty or R=enforcement. They will stay home if they both equal amnesty.

There is a huge majority of American citizens waiting for someone to pledge to uphold the laws and secure the borders, let's not ignore them any more.

If the tears are farcical then it's a trite political ploy already. If genuine then I simply want a more resolute and composed leader...female or not. What's this crap? She can't take the moils of campaigning (tough, yes, but what was she expecting?) then she probably can't take the labors of the White House (even with the co-presidency).

He cannot claim to be the expert on Foreign Policy either. It changes daily, hourly and minute by minute round the world, especially in the Middle East.
John McCain wants to close Guantanamo Bay Cuba; He fights to give captured terrorists rights in U.S Courts and the right to sue; He fights to ban 'waterboarding"; He formed the obtructionist "Gang of 14" which was against the President's judicial nominations; He is an "Al Gore" global warming wimp with his McCain/Lieberman Energy Bill; He assaulted free speech with his McCain/Feingold Bill; He violates our laws with his McCain/Kennedy Amnesty Bill.

Let's clear this up once and for all: Hillary is not human. She is a master manipulator. I think if her advisors told her it would get her the nomination, she would cut off a finger on cue... She does not feel. The terminator is more feeling than she is.....

I am feeling all warm and fuzzy now.
All these tearful moments.
As a guy, it is a sense not often tapped into, fostered, reveled in. I am going now to wallow in this sensation. Then, I might just be tempted to go out and purchase some manly cosmetics; a little color added to my cheeks, some eye shadow, a nice MANicure, scented shampoo, conservative-conditioner. Yeah, all this touchy-feely stuff is just what the doctor ordered.
AND, it's starting to help me swallow the Shrillary message.
I mean, I want some of that $5,000.-for-every-child bribery program.
Yeah, gimme what I got comin' to me. The government owes me.

McAmnesty?????? NOOOOO!!!!!!!
20-30 million citizens of other countries are in our country illegally, 55% from Mexico, most of the rest from other Central and South American countries. Let's not ignore the leftward voting trends of these countries. It is notable that they picked May Day, an old communist day of celebration for their marches.

Most polls show at least half of the American citizens of Hispanic descent want the borders and laws enforced. Republicans will not win by alienating their current voters to get 40% of a new small block that will grow very large, very fast if amnesty is granted. That will grow the Democrats vote larger and faster as the influx increases exponentially as the result of another amnesty. It will spell the end of the Republican Party. The people who used to vote Republican will stop voting or form a new party. Conservatives will lose political influence and we will slide inexorably towards socialism (it has already started).

Most of what you hear about this issue is political propaganda that tries to convince you to give up your country without a fight, including on Fox News. The big money players are all on board the cheap labor express, they care not that American citizens do not want another amnesty. We know the last one resulted in 10 times the number of illegal aliens and a general disregard of our laws. The next one will be equally successful.
Lmiller writes: Monday, February, 04, 2008 11:58 AM
