I've worked in violent crisis centers and you can't discount a woman's story because she doesn't ask for medical attention. That happens all the time. That's not suspicious.
The fact that there's no real suspect, no video, and the photograph just doesn't look like a knife wound to me is suspicious. I would have expected a major scar. A penetrating wound. The "B" is remarkably well composed to have happened during a fit of anger. It's backwards. Also, if the assailant hated the victim enough to scratch a letter in her face, she's got pretty gentle bruising from that attack.
But I urge you to not discount a woman's story if she refuses medical attention. Dangerous ground, that. |

While this woman is hurt, the spotlight turns on McCain calling her? What's that all about? This is a Nancy Grace moment and it is very weird. Grasping at straws and using this woman as a handhold to make some kind of "point" is not a good thing. It can and most likely WILL backfire, and yet who can tell a faltering candidate not to "go there" when the entire campaign is ridden with opportunistic, desperate and craven shills. |

I always attempt to exercise some restaint before either dismissing or accepting a story like this.

If this is true, then this is worse than despicable.
It does not reflect on Senator Obama, but it does bring to light the amount of vitriol that exists for McCain supporters.
Although I beleive that there are certainly crazy characters on both sides. I have not seen any attempt to address the hatred that is being shown towards McCain supporters.

When things like this happen to Obama it's a hate crime, racism at its best.
When a McCain supporter is battered it's opportunistic desperation that will backfire.
Let me ask you Obama supporters a couple of questions. Do you support Obama because he is a prolife anti-abortion candidate or because of his stance against stem cell research? Or is it because he is going to keep the troops in Iraq until we win the war? Which one is it? Or is it all the above? You tell me.

When I got hit on my motorcycle by a van that i did not want to go to the hospital. Because they would have sent me to the emergency room, I would have had to sit around for hours, I would have gone through many crappy tests just so they can tell me that I there is nothing they can do for me. Take a couple asperin and call us if you feel worse. That will be $600 for X-Rays, $6600 for the MRI of your brain, $250 for the just coming in and making us fill out paperwork, and do not forget that the ambulance that the police forced you into is going to be about $5250.
Thanks but no thanks. Just to be clear, even if I had insurance to pay for all that crap, I probably would have ended up paying for the worthless MRI, half the ambulance bill, and some amount of the rest. Not to mention the hours wasted, my towed motorcycle that if I was not forced into a ambulance I could have pushed home for free. Sorry, but blaming the victim for not desiring to being further traumatized in order to validate your need for official documentation in order to beleive her is completely LIBERAL big government nanny state. |

The MSM has refused to do its job by vetting Obama. Hollywood is positively hateful. And yet Obama supporters absourdly claim the McCain campaign is ginning up hate.
If Pubs were doing the same things Obama supporters are, there would be hell to pay--and everybody knows it. But they get a pass because they are the "oppressed." |
