Some you can't replace ... you must be content to remember.
Simply the best on Television in terms of poise and credibility.
Hume is able to be himself without derogation to any other.
Senior Statesman, Eminence Gris, or Of Counsel, Mr. Hume's transition will be of some note to many.

...pulpit or a comedy show gig.
Hume will be hard to replace. |

First we lose Russert, lib but a decent one. Next we lost Tony and now we're semi-losing Brit?!
This is not a good year! |

that doesn't mean she and Brit were doing the horizontal bop.
He's the best.
But NO One, Including you who read this, is indispensable. with Tony Snow gone, who would y'all nominate to suceed him" |

Of course Fox can replace Hume, he's just not going to be duplicated--he's got a distinct style that oozes integrity, trustworthiness, knowledge and a grasp of the issues. Brit is the John Wayne of journalism; no nonsense straight shooter, brevity of words packed with meaning. I liked him when he reported for ABC, and I thought he brought credibility to Fox. I’m glad he’s continuing on Fox News Sunday as a panelist. Perhaps in his new role he can let loose his opinions more freely. Last, he looks good for 65. |

I hope Hume is retiring and that it is not just a rumor. I don't watch his show "Special Report" when he is on it because I find him so boring. When Hume is away and someone else is filling in for him (no matter who that someone else is)the show is always much better. I for one will not miss him.
At one time I hoped that Hume would leave the show and that Tony Snow would take it over. Well, unfortunately, that can not happen now. Jim Angle would be a good replacement.
After he leaves they should next get rid of some of those idiots who comprise his so-called Fox All-Stars. I have trouble taking Fred Barnes and Mort Kondrake seriously. I thought they were both a couple of idiots when they were on the "McLaughin Group" putting up with McLaughlin's abuse, though they deserved it. Mara Eliason, or whatever her name is, strikes me as totally brainless and Juan Williams comes off as totally uninformed about most issues. Charles Krauthammer is the best they have on that show so I'd hate to see him leave. They need to replace the so-called Fox All-Stars with a few more people with his intelligence. |

Brit! Brit is easily the best, I guess moderator is the term I'm looking for since he is generally up there at the end of the table refereeing the rest. Always good questions, pertinent comments, and a gift for spotting BS, and calling on it. My very best to Brit, and best wishes for whatever he pursues next. |
|
I relish his closing comment on "Special Report": "Fair, balanced, and unafraid...." Said with the utmost contempt and delicious condescension for just about anything liberal! I envision hard-lefters nationwide seething with resentment. I love it. |

Looks like Kimberly is aiming for the position of "worst liberal shill" on the blogs.
Too bad she's so boring.
