It's safe to say Caroline Kennedy's senatorial roll-out was a disaster now.
Data from Public Policy Polling found that 44 percent of New York voters have a "lesser opinion" of her than they did before she announced her desire to fill Hillary Clinton's vacated Senate seat.
“When Caroline Kennedy was first mentioned as a possible Senate appointee there was a lot of enthusiasm among New York Democrats about her,” said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling. “Her reputation has taken a pretty clear hit over the last month, and if Governor Paterson does end up appointing her she’s going to have some work to do to overcome this bad first impression she’s made on New York voters.”
PPP's poll was conducted among 700 New York voters on January 3rd and 4th. More information on it is HERE.

Caroline has no business being a US Senator. I am one of the few vocal conservatives in NYC. Objectively speaking, there is a deep pool of qualified Democrats to fill Clinton's seat. Gov. Peterson should choose an elected official rather than someone who thinks they are entitled. With all the corruption happening right now in Chicago, Peterson would be wise to give the seat to a qualified politician. I just ask that is please NOT be Congressman Nadler! |

Please stop lying. "your 20-percenter fold"
Republicans hold 41% of senate seats, 40.9% of house seats 45.7% of the presidential vote and 44% of governorships. So where does the "20%" come from - other your lying mouth
Facts are real bitches aren't they? Shame you wouldn't recognize one if it smacked you in the face. Thgis is becoming so boring....you post lies, I correct you and you call me names. Might work in the playground but not round here.
I'm sure this will just result in you calling me a "thug" or a "tool" as you have elsewhere in the last 24 hours. That's about all you are capable of.

...of the reviving RNC to keep us focused on the opposition's weaknesses. Good job, Lola C-word. |
|
I hope that Governor Paterson looks at the polls, that were taking, that 58% of the people in New York, want Andrew Coumo, for the next Senator of New York, he has the qualifications and the experience for that job, I hope that Governor Paterson can see whats going on in Illinois and New Mexico. |

No Lola, you didn't "introduce the republican angle" you did what you always do. You are a one trick pony. Everything ever said vaguely negative about a liberal is always greeted with your pathetic infantile chant of "your guy is worse than our guy". Put simply you just made something up to fit your pathetic little screed. That's called lying. You lied when you said she "still rates higher than a republican". No republican is mentioned in the 7 pages of that poll. Not one. So you just made it up. Liar.
And, as usual all you can come back with is an insult. I am more than happy to flag every offensive post you put up here. Keep it up, liar.

Rudi's old man was a "Thug", Caroline's grand-daddy was a "rum runner", is this what it takes to be a politician? |

She has paid for her Senate seat. It doesn't matter what New Yorkers want, she will be the junior senator from New York. Anyway, who are her competitors? Are they any better than she is, are they more popular to New Yorkers? |
|
Like I said - nowhere in the article was a republican mentioned so please inform us exactly which Republican she rates higher than or retract your outright lie.
Your lies and bs are boring us and, as always when you get called out on the utter garbage you right you resort to the offensive epithets such as Rethug.

Remind us just how many Dem Governors are under federal investigation for corruption right now.
Please don't lecture us in your infantile, condescending tones about discerning choice of leadership.
Exactly what Republican does Kennedy rate higher than? No Reps mentioned in any of the 7 pages of the PPP poll. Just your usual level of ignorant mendacity.
I suggest they reconduct the poll and throw Rudy Giuliani's name in there and that would conclusively prove what a crock of cr&p you are spouting....yet again.
Do you ever have any other argument than "your guys worse than our guy"? That's all you ever have to say. It's like listening to a 4 year old telling another 6 year old "my dad could beat up your dad". Truly pathetic.
