In NH, Ron Paul Might Surprise

Ron Paul has a real chance to influence who wins New Hampshire, as well as to steal a bit of the story away from the winner of New Hampshire, thus minimizing the momentum a primary winner might otherwise expect.
Writing at the Wall Street Journal, Andrew Cline explains why:
For starters, he appears to be drawing new voters. Polls that screen for "likely" voters might screen out many Paul supporters who haven't voted often, or at all, before. Many of Mr. Paul's supporters appear to be first-time voters. They will be able to cast their ballots because New Hampshire allows them to register and vote on the day of an election. But a strong New Hampshire finish won't just hurt other candidates. It might also mean Paul finally gets the credibility and attention from the media that even his astonishing fundraising prowess has, thus far, not been able to buy him.

I'm kinda thinking that Fox and ABC have painted themselves into a corner and created a can't win situataion for themselves and a can't lose situation for Ron Paul.
Using the same criteria that they are allegedly using to cull the candidates, Ron Paul is CONSISTENTLY polling high than Fred Thompson. If they include Thompson but don't allow Paul to appear, it will be yet another example of their MSM bias, that the Paul campaign can use to its advantage.
On the other hand, if they DO allow Paul to appear, they have announced that he actually IS a viable candidate-- and as such, should garner equivalent media attention.
Either way, the Paul campaign wins. |

You are too funny!
All your base are belonged to Ron Paul! |

"If everyone is honest with themselves, you know there is something very wrong going on in our country right now. I've seen people write about it on this board, over and over again. The question is, will you take action to fix it?"
From the reading I have done here I have concluded is that they really don't care about any of what you write of. They would rather pay lip service to it as long as the guy in office has an R after his/her name. They would rather be lied to.
Fortunately, they are a dwindling number of dead enders. |

That's funny and it shows how desperate these morons are when they find themselves having to use garbage from the Daily Kos, Little Green Fascists and Storm Front in an attempt to attack Paul. They throw handfuls of manure and it all winds up right back in their faces.
And they said Reagan had teflon coating... |

What the media doesn't appear to understand, is that the fundraising was not generated by the campaign at all. It was totally generated by the grassroots and it was done because of the message that Ron Paul is conveying. The message of reinstating our Constitution, the rule of law and individual liberty.
Be very clear that is why the money has been flowing in, by $10, $25 donations and even an occasional $100 or more. For the first time, in a very long time, we finally have a true statesman running for President. Not someone bought and paid for by lobbyists or special interests. No, someone who actually has the backbone to stand up and tell us the TRUTH for a change. Even if it is hard to hear. Finally, someone who is standing up for OUR country and the principles upon which this country was founded that allowed us live in freedom and prosperity.
If everyone is honest with themselves, you know there is something very wrong going on in our country right now. I've seen people write about it on this board, over and over again. The question is, will you take action to fix it?
NOW is our chance. Right now. To take our country back. Time for everyone to step up to the plate. This is it. Our chance. I doubt it will come again for a long, long time and even then, it may be too late. |

anyone to pull Abe's blanket. He is perhaps the worst, certainly not one of the best. His blind devotion to Union and Federal cost America most of the freedoms we won from the Brits. Slavery? mainly a convenient artifice. A testimony to how long artificial history will last. Now about the Military and Intelligence communities... |

The only reasons that I can see why Napolitano hasn't been fired is a) he's popular, b) it allows Fox to use him as a figleaf, thereby allowing them to make the "fair and balance" claim. |
|
Now that Rupert Murdoch and Fox News has decided to exclude Dr. Ron Paul from the debates, how long will it be before Fox fires Judge Napolitano for not bowing down to the "Lincoln Worshipers" that love trashing the constitution? The Judge's statements regarding the "Patriot Act" and "President Lincoln's" tyranical disregard for the constitution had to have been noticed.(Ha-Ha).
Now, He too is in a state of heresy! |
|
We can't have Ron Paul! He actually talks about things like the Constitution and the Bill of Rights (Yes, Neo-Cons, they are two separate documents! The Patriot Act urinated all over the latter. The former remains in tact.). He talks about restoring dignity, credibility and honor to the Republican party. Can't have that.
RESCUE THE GOP! |

NH is the fist state where he can make an impact.I'm just hoping he steals the independent vote from McCain |
|
In California indicates Paul is a favorite of talk show listeners. This isn't insignificant. If Paul ends up running in the general, he will definitely influence the election. Perot's showing in 92 caused Clinton's shift to the right and cost Bush 1 the oval office. Elections are NOT always about who "wins". I'd like Paul as Pres., but one way or the other his importance is very real. |
|
Glad to see you noted this. Some of us have known this for a while from looking in other places for information.
There are going to be some folks in for a nasty surprise and a good dose of reality. |
