Agreed. I was actually a little indifferent toward Palin because I was so frustrated with the GOP nominating McCain that I was planning on voting "none of the above" by voting 3rd party anyway, no matter who McCain picked.
Having said that, I think Palin did a reasonably good job. She clearly didn't have the experience and the savvy to manipulate the MSM but I liked her positions - having given more time to brush up on global issues she would have been fine. I was outraged at the brutality of the press towards her. I think if she wants to run for national office in the future she could be a force.
I really have trouble understanding people like 2Cents and others who are so hateful and nasty towards Sarah. How would you like to have her as Relief Society president? Nightmare, huh? |

Sarah Palin is not perfect, she doesn't claim to be, but she is so much better than President Elect, Obama who has had 100 % nefarious, Mafia types as mentors since his college days, has about half the experience Palin has had, and defies to court to provide proof positive of a valid birth certificate from Hawaii proving his US Citizenship. A man who will meet with our enemies without pre-conditions even when THEY, themsleves won't agree to that; wants to dominate and control Americans, and who is as corrupt, or more so than Al Capone any day of the week. And you can say that is judgment on my part, but when a person speaks the truth and lists facts rather than lies, enuendos and rumors, it is not only acceptable, but should be the responsibility of all those who love America and want to keep the people safe from harm, not further their own political agenda as Obama wants to do.
The people have spoken but they did not use good judgment, and it will come back to haunt them in ways no one can yet imagine; and then Palin will look pretty damm good to those who are so quick to judge her now. |

Watching clips on the upcoming documentary on the media and the election last nite, CNN's Anderson Cooper said " coming up after the break Sarah Palin attacks Katie Corac" then proceded to edit the clip to fit this agenda. How doI know it was edited? Because I watched the very same clips on Greta's show on FOX! Then after showing the clips what does CNN do? They put on clips of Tina Fey playing Palin on SNL. Then at the end of the segment they show a name the picture contest of 5 groundhogs (1 on it's hind legs) and the woman sitting with Cooper say's "I bet it's saying, I can see Russia from my house"! Boy did they get a laugh out of that one. |

It is said that experience is a brutal teacher and such a saying in my opinion is right. This past election cycle certainly provided Sarah Palin with first hand experience on numerous issues, such as how not to run a campaign and how bad the media is towards conservatives. President Reagan had to learn how to master the media and beat them because he knew that they all hated him. Sarah Palin is going to have to learn how to do this as well. I believe that she can do this because she has first rate oratory skills, as Reagan and Margret Thatcher did. Sarah must view the liberal media as dangerous enemies who are absolutely not to be trusted. One of the things she should insist on is live interviews, instead of interviews done before hand. I say this because the liberal media will actively edit any interview with a conservative to make them look bad and a live interview will not allow them to do this. She can do taped interviews on FOX where such partison editing will not take place. If she learns from the last election she'll be fine next time around. |

Today, I did grocery shopping for 10 people, went to the bank, went to a luncheon for the women in my church, ran car pool to and from school, vacuumed the upstairs, cleaned up the downstairs and shoveled snow.
