A WaPo Reality Check

From a Washington Post staff editorial today:

The initial media coverage of Barack Obama's visit to Iraq suggested that the Democratic candidate found agreement with his plan to withdraw all U.S. combat forces on a 16-month timetable. So it seems worthwhile to point out that, by Mr. Obama's own account, neither U.S. commanders nor Iraq's principal political leaders actually support his strategy.

Yes, that does "seem worthwhile," doesn't it? Too bad the WaPo is a lonely voice of reality amid the glorious Obamessiah chorus of praise.

Kudos Cuban Pete, nice way of describing the reality of the fantasy man, Obama. Bill Clinton was right on when he said Obamas War spining was a fairy tale! The devious Rookie has covered all bases. He takes credit and promises to end the war but leaves the escapable loophole "depend- ing on when its Ok with the Commanders on the ground." Give me a break. It takes more then smooth, sweet talking words to win my confidence and vote! I've got a mind of my own and I'm grounded in reality!

Uh, "Mid 2010" vs "by the end of 2010." Oh, My! The whole timeline is off! (Hand wringing...) Sorry LIEbau, that's the reason this was pointed out by just one serious editorial board. Keep searching for your reality.

...Obamessiah's sycophantic minions will just ignore this, also. They will continue their drooling, nodding worship of The Prophet who is destined to lead them to the promised Utopia. The Utopia where Mr. B. Hussein will stop the rising oceans, cool the raging temperatures, stop the different nations' wars, heal the sick, raise the dead (except for unborn babies), and do away with unfair wealth. All Mr. Hussein needs is your tax money to accomplish all this.
