Yet Another Huckabee Gaffe
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 6:21 PM
From Politico.com:  "Bolton denies he is a Huckabee adviser."

I think we will be getting disavowals from Arkansas high school geography teachers pretty soon.

Depending if you count the "end martial law" flub, Huckabee's at five or six gaffes in two news cycles where foreign affairs mattered most  --the apology for Bhutto's assassination, the "end martial law" demand, the geography snafu concerning the location of Pakistan's border with Afghanistan, the number of Pakistanis crossing the southern border and Pakistan's rank on the list of countries exporting illegal immigrants to the U.S. over that border, and now claiming Bolton as an advisor..

Plus there's the story on accepting money from embryonic stem cell research advocates and pushers of the "morning after" pill.

Huck is making the Howard Dean of 2004 look calm and poised.

Mitt has no FP experience
Actually, none of them have real FP experience
RE:The whole crop of candidates:

Senators and congressman on committees that deal with foreign affairs may have a little more exposure to FP issues -but thats still not much actual FP experience in making Policy decisions.

And certainly nothing to brag about or slam their opponents over.

State governors like mitt and huck have no FP credentials. So what?

Really its not that important to have prior FP experience before taking office -remember few if any new presidents have had any real FP experiernce-except former VPs like Nixon, Ford, and GHW Bush(Bush 41)

And lets remember that Governor Reagan had almost NONE-same with GW Bush

FP decisions will be largely governed by the advisors and cabinet memebers selected.

And I would be more worried by 600- Pakistani muslims sneaking into the country illegally than any number of mexicans with leaf blowers.

Huck may have lost Iowa

Do you think he will give a yell like Howard Dean (with maybe a touch of Ned Beatty)?

Good news for Mitt and Hugh. Strangely enough, not as bad for McCain as you would think, since the second choice for Huckabee and McCain supporters is McCain.

Huck is a loser
But so is Mitt, Rudy, and John.

Me, I'm voting for a strong Conservative leader, I'm voting for Fred Thompson!

Romney a la
I was against Reagan before I was for Reagan

Ooooooo flip flops on abortion!
That is just unacceptable in a candidate!

Anti-Huck nonsence getting absurd
Now Hugh is bothering Huckabee about saying Western instead of Eastern. What's next, make fun of his weight? Go Huck! Romney must be really desperate.
Col Bat Guano writes: Friday, December, 28, 2007 7:26 PM
Owe! Owe!
Prying ears overheard those words from the Huck justa few moments ago. The campaign has ordered a wheelchair and a year's supply of foot bandages. No doubt that will prompt asome silly comparison about being a Valley Forge soldier.
pro-v1 writes: Friday, December, 28, 2007 7:24 PM
Hugh says Mitt would never attack
But Mitt's willing to distort the facts...
When it comes to Mitt's track record it's: run, run, run away from it, as fast as he can!!!

Mitt's sooo glad the other candidates aren't pointing out Mitt's hypocrisy. In a non "attack" -contrasting fashion like Romney uses.

It's about time for Hugh to say second place is a good finish for Mitt. All that time and money spent building those leads to come in second.

Romney's on track to win somewhere, sometime just not in 2008. Perhaps an ambassadorship to Venezuela.

Oh, no, the Kos Kids found the Herald!
Nope. Bad judge not a bad governor.
mcfritz writes: Friday, December, 28, 2007 7:10 PM
Huck has an ego state problem.
He fails to find the adult ego state. Huck flip-flops from kid to parent. One minute he offers a bizarre joke about Cheney's hunting trip and the next minute he rationalizes his own negligence while hunting. It is a scary amalgam of class clown, church lady, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. The Kos Kids love this guy.

Why Can't We All Just Get Along?

It's true that our Governor Mike Huckabee doesn't know much, that he's wrong on many policy questions, and that he has ethical issues. But he's one of us.

Everything will be fine once he's president.

I like Tax-Hike Mike!
