Suggested Questions For Bob Schieffer
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 12:20 PM
The first presidential debate had its moments, but the second was a complete bust unless, like Obama, you wanted cliched questions to dominate and a snore fest to result with nothing in the way of revealing exchanges on the differences between the candidates.

Perhaps Bob Schieffer will sense that this is old media's last debate hurrah, and his, and that both deserve better than what we have had thus far,  and wil; thus try to enlarge the 90 minutes to something that matters in terms of helping the public understand the immense differences between McCain and Obama.

Send me your suggested questions via hugh@hughhewitt.com.  I'll devote today's show to the possibilities open to Mr. Schieffer.  He, and you, can listen online if you'd like at 6 to 9 PM EST at www.ksky.com, where tomorrow's post-debate program will also be carried.

The three questions I'd like to hear asked of Obama:

1. United States Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald is investigating many figures in Illinois politics, and has already convicted your friend Tony Rezko.  If elected president, will you confirm Mr. Fitzgerald in his job until he announces his investigation is complete?

2.  If elected president, will you continue the deployment of the national missile defense shield at funding levels at least as large as though allocated by the Bush Administration and the current Congress?

3.  Will you maintain Department of Defense expenditures at at least their  current levels, including the special appropriations for Iraq, plus an inflation adjustment?

Better questions:
1. Illegal immigration: why won't either of you defend our borders?

2. Cap and Trade: why are both of you determined to surrender our national sovereignty to a global carbon scheme that is based on dubious scientific evidence and will impose the biggest, most expensive and most opaque bureaucracy in history?

3. Boxers or briefs?

What the heck, this IS after all the silliest election ever.

Hugh, get real.

Those questions attempt to repeat the smear and fear crap which Obama has had to deal with.

3 questions
In my column today I deal with this exact issue.

http://www.tygrrrrexpress.com/2008/10/what-john-mccain-must -say-and-ask/

Here are 3 bullet points.

1) Obama was against the Iraq War from the beginning. If he were in power, Saddam would still be in power, paying $25,000 to Palestinian homicide bombers. Is Obama glad Saddam is gone? If yes, how can he be without giving credit to George W. Bush?

2) How can Obama cut taxes on 95% of Americans when only 62% pay any taxes? Isn't that wealth redistribution, aka socialism?

3) How can Obama claim he wants to repair world alliances when he rejects free trade agreements that anger our allies, such as South Korea?

Respectfully,

eric aka the Tygrrrr Express

The missile defense shield? Rezko? Socialism?!?!?!

If you think this is what Joe Average in Toledo, Scranton, Lansing, Pensacola or Boulder cares about, then you shouldn't be surprised by the feeble poll numbers McCain is putting up in those states.

I have 3!
1. Senator McCain, you and your running-mate, Sarah Palin, represent the first ticket in American History to have two candidates who have both been admonished for ethical violations. How can you run on a platform of reforming Washington when you two have the dubious distinction of being the most corrupt politicians to ever run together for the highest offices in the land?

2. Senator McCain, you have been critical of Barack Obama's association with Acorn. How do you explain your appearance (and endorsement) as their Keynote Speaker in 20066?

3. Senator McCain, you continue to raise Barack Obama's association with Bill Ayers, claiming it speaks to his judgment. Can you tell us how your close association with your "friend" and convicted felon, G. Gordon Liddy, is different?

...ask NO questions. They'll be boring or irrelevant and, in either way, designed to spare his candidate.

Instead, let the candidates question each other. Proscribe the question length, responses and counters.

Since you are going to be demolished on election day, would you consider changing your ads from 100% attack on Obama to saying positive things you would do if elected? This might salvage your reputation as an honest and independent Senator and leave you with some dignity as you go into retirement.

Sen. McCain, you rejected the desires of American citizens for enforcement of our immigration laws in favor of pandering to The National Council of The Race (LaRaza in Spanish) for votes, promising amnesty for illegal aliens, you are now polling less than 25% hispanic voters, about 1.75% of total vote, how's that working out for you?

Sir, youve said that you would not deploy "untested missile defense systems". Can you point to an example of a weapons system that meets your expectation of proper testing prior to its deployment? For example, was 'Stealth technology' sufficiently tested prior to its use?

Second question on the same subject - If you are against missile defense systems, does the same logic also apply to anti aircraft systems? Can you explain why a nations defense against missiles is going to cause international problems while defense against aircraft is simple common sense? Can you explain what you consider to be the key differences between aircraft and missiles to the American public?

I have been returning 3-4 postage paid envelopes a week stuffed with McCain pesos. When I got the Fed-ex envelope I almost did not return it like the others as the cost is so much more. Then I figured why not, they haven't been listening at all, after the first 20 I would have thought they would have removed me from their mailing list, just not that bright. Kind of like pandering for the votes of illegal aliens and ignoring those of citizens who want their government to do its job and enforce the laws.

Real McCain questions
1. Senator McCain, can you explain why you helped Charles Keating rip off so many elderly and retirees of their pension money? Was is solely because he took you on his vacations for free and let you ride in his jet? And was that enough of a payoff - along with the money you received from Keating - for you to sell your soul by pushing for de-regulation so he could steal the life savings from all those unsuspecting people?

2. We've seen that while you've diminished your own role in the Keating Five, claiming you were a lesser player in the scheme, it actually turns out you were the ONLY member who was given special treatment and more money. Please explain the discrepancy.

3. You've claimed that you crashed your navy planes as engine malfunction and plane malfunction, when actually virtually all of your crashes leading up to the one in Nam were pilot error. Explain the lies to us.

4. Did you REALLY bail on your servicemen on board the Forrestal and hide below deck rather than help others put out the flames that eyewitnesses have claimed you were responsible for - watching the horror unfold by closed circuit TV in the room? And rather than mourn the deaths of 134 men with the heroic crew who worked feverishly to save their lives, did you REALLY instead zip off to Saigon for some "welcome R&R".

5. Why did you cheat on your first wife who stood by you through all your documented infidelities and struggles with insubordination, temper tantrums and "cowboy pilot" recklessness?

6. And finally, how can you call Senator Obama's character into question when your own character is so very poor?

For Obama,

why do not you help your brother in Kenya who is living on $1.00 per month?

Why do you think rationalizing your vote on the BAIPA act is moral?

Why do you think Americans should pay for the abortions of women who are too weak to say no to sex?

Why do you think partial-birth abortion should be legal?

Why did you support a law outlawing or using confiscatory taxes on ammunition?

Why will you not provide an official copy of your birth certificate?

Why should Americans believe anything you say after hearing you say in 20 years of listening to Rev. Wright he never said anything negative or derogatory about the U.S.A. or white people?

Did you have a ghost writer on your book "Dreams from My Father? If so, what was his name?

Why have you not repudiated William Ayers?

Will you appoint William Ayers to your cabinet?

Do you believe every law-abiding American has a right to own an unregistered hand gun?

Do you believe government should have more control over individuals decisions, i.e. the decisions of small business owners regarding health insurance?

Why should an American who decides to forgo college to begin a trade be forced to pay for college for someone else?

More for Obama,

what do you mean when you say that under your administration every American will be required to serve according to your ideas of what constitutes service?

How much will all of your programs cost in government monies? If you do not know the cost, why is that not irresponsible to propose programs without knowing their costs?

What is it about the American Dream that is most appealing to you?

Do you believe the most important thing about America is protecting the individual from government controls?

Do you believe that government is best seen as a benefactor to its citizens or as a problem for its citizens?

How can you oppose a woman's right to choose under the argument that "all life is sacred" while also opposing mandatory healthcare for children? Are you arguing that it is irresponsible for a rape victim to have an abortion but it is completely acceptable for a parent to deny their children health insurance? Does a child lose the protection of the Republican party once they are born?

jeramy,

I will pretend to be a McCain surrogate and answer your questions.

Children without health care are still allowed to grow and thrive. Children who are aborted are dead and have no future.

It is not the government's role to decide how parents best support their children.

There are many laws in America protecting and supporting children. Neither I (Senator McCain) nor the Republican Party are advocating eliminating these laws protecting and supporting children whose mothers do not abort them.

Bring them on jeramy. You will notice JSM supporters can answer stupid leftist questions. Now how about answering those questions I posted.

For example, why will Obama,Jr. not provide an official copy of his birth certificate? If he was born in Hawaii, it is very simple to get a copy.

Or how about the one about why he believes partial-birth abortion should be legal?
eddie too writes: Tuesday, October, 14, 2008 2:44 PM
joe,

neither Sarah nor Bristol spent taxpayers' dollars on abortions.

You are right they did not say no. You are wrong that they chose to have a taxpayer funded abortion. They chose to accept the consequences of their decisions as any moral adult does.

Did you have a point you were trying to make?

You certainly did not answer the question which was Why do you think Americans should pay for the abortions of women who are too weak to say no to sex?

You and jeramy both write and think like someone who is less than 15 years old.

"Or how about the one about why he believes partial-birth abortion should be legal?" Okay, well believes that a woman should be allowed to get an abortion but he DOES NOT BELIEVE that aborted children who are born alive should be killed. He voted against a bill which banned killing birthed infants (which was redundant since it was already illegal under state and federal statutes) because the bill contained language which jeopardized roe v. wade. He proposed a bill that was identical except it included the phrase "to the extent that it does not violate the supreme court decision on roe v. wade".

"why will Obama,Jr. not provide an official copy of his birth certificate? If he was born in Hawaii, it is very simple to get a copy." He has, it is on record. Some disgruntled Clinton supporter tried to claim it was a fake, his claims have been thoroughly disproved.

Do you have any others...

you need to read better. I am not talking about abortion.

You said that Obama supports abortion for women who were too weak to say no to sex. Regardless of who pays for an abortion, or whether anyone even has an abortion, would you say Bristol Palin was too weak to say no to Levi? Simple, direct question. Answer it.

I bet if Bristol had an abortion, you'd find a way to justify it because she is imperfect, right? But if others have abortions, not ok?
Darth Vector writes: Tuesday, October, 14, 2008 3:09 PM
Jeramy your thinking is so unclear
How can you possibly argue that mandatory health insurance for children should be a right, while at the same time criticizing parents for not being the ones to provide their children with health insurance? If parents want to insure their kids or NOT insure their kids, that is their fundamental "right" to do so, sir. Just because parents might choose not to insure their kids does NOT mean they don't treat their kids for whatever medical needs they may incur. They just pay for the cost on their own.

The point about mandatory health insurance for kids is that it shifts the PAYOR BURDEN TO third party tax-payers and AWAY from the families that may have the needs. It's just so sad that you can't grasp this.

Nautical metaphors could sink Obama

A newly discovered anecdote from Bill Ayers' 1993 book "To Teach" solidifies the case that he is indeed the muse behind Barack Obama's "Dreams From My Father."
In the book, Ayers tells the story of an adventurous teacher who would take her students out to the streets of New York to learn interesting life lessons about the culture and history of the city.
As Ayers tells it, the students were fascinated by the Hudson River nearby and asked to see it. When they got to the river's edge, one student said, "Look, the river is flowing up." A second student said, "No, it has to flow south-down."
Not knowing which was right, the teacher and the students did their research. What they discovered, writes Ayers, was "that the Hudson River is a tidal river, that it flows both north and south, and they had visited the exact spot where the tide stops its northward push."
In his 1995 book, "Dreams From My Father," Barack Obama shares an intriguing story from his own brief New York sojourn.

GOPsaver writes: Tuesday, October, 14, 2008 3:15 PM
Sink Obama P.II
He tells of meeting with "Marty Kauffman" at a Lexington Avenue diner, the man from Chicago who was trying to recruit him as a community organizer.
After the meeting, Obama "took the long way home, along the East River promenade." As "a long brown barge rolled through the gray waters toward the sea," Obama sat down on a bench to consider his options.
While sitting, he noticed a black woman and her young son against the railing. Overly fond of the too well remembered detail, Obama observes, "They stood side by side, his arm wrapped around her leg, a single silhouette against the twilight."
The boy appeared to ask his mother a question that she could not answer and then approached Obama:
"Excuse me, mister," he shouted. "You know why sometimes the river runs that way and then sometimes it goes this way?"
The woman smiled and shook her head, and I said it probably had to do with the tides.
Obama uses the seeming indecisiveness of this tidal river as a metaphor for his own. Immediately afterwards, he shakes the indecision and heads for Chicago.
This one anecdote holds a host of problems for Obama. For one, the East River would be hugely out of his way no matter where he lived in New York and especially if he lived anywhere near the Columbia campus on the upper West Side.
More troubling, his serendipitous journey to the river enables him to tell a story that is transparently fabricated and almost assuredly hatched in the weathered brain of Bill Ayers.
Even were there no other clues, Obama's frequent and sophisticated use of nautical metaphors makes a powerful case for Ayers' involvement in the writing of "Dreams."

Did you have a ghost writer on your book "Dreams from My Father? If so, what was his name? NO. This was written entirely by Barack. UNLIKE McCain and HIS books, btw.

Why have you not repudiated William Ayers? HE HAS. He has denounced the man's radical past. Ayers is now a respected community leader in eduction - something Republicans have shared with him and crossed paths with him in their work. To denounce the man's work NOW as he stands in the community today, should be asked of every Republican who has worked with him in this capacity as well. When will McCain repudiate the odious past of G. Gordon Liddy? HAS he? I think not. And THIS should be a problem for him. YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE, EDDIE. Shameless one, at that.

Will you appoint William Ayers to your cabinet? ANSWER: Kinda like appointing Gonzo, Palin, Liddy, Rove - all people who have committed unlawful acts? No - Obama's more honorable than McCain/Bush

Do you believe every law-abiding American has a right to own an unregistered hand gun? ANSWER: I hope he doesn't.

Do you believe government should have more control over individuals decisions, i.e. the decisions of small business owners regarding health insurance? ANSWER: or say, who can and can't get married, have an abortion or protest during a GOP campaign rally? Or does the Government's big brother attitude work only if it suits the GOP and it's shameless, misinformed dupes?

Why should an American who decides to forgo college to begin a trade be forced to pay for college for someone else? ANSWER: why should an American who disagrees with wars based on a lies be forced to pay for it anyway?
eddie too writes: Tuesday, October, 14, 2008 3:21 PM
joe,

I have in no way criticized women who accept responsibility for their decisions as Sarah and Bristol have. My question was about women who refuse to accept the consequences of their own decisions and instead of accepting the consequences expect taxpayers to pay to have their children killed. That is what Obama, Jr. supports and that is what my question was about.

You are the one who is deliberately distorting the question. You are the one who is trying to separate the relationship my question established between taxpayer funding of abortion and women wanting to evade the consequences of their free decisions.

You must be very very young, because your thought reasoning ability is incredibly immature.

Another question for Senator McCain
Are you a patriot, Senator McCain? If your answer is "yes", please explain given this:

"he Washington lobbyist John McCain has named to head his presidential transition team aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime.

The two lobbyists who McCain aide William Timmons worked closely with over a five year period on the lobbying campaign later either pleaded guilty to or were convicted of federal criminal charges that they had acted as unregistered agents of Saddam Hussein's government.

During the same period beginning in 1992, Timmons worked closely with the two lobbyists, Samir Vincent and Tongsun Park, on a previously unreported prospective deal with the Iraqis in which they hoped to be awarded a contract to purchase and resell Iraqi oil. Timmons, Vincent, and Park stood to share at least $45 million if the business deal went through.

Timmons' activities occurred in the years following the first Gulf War, when Washington considered Iraq to be a rogue enemy state and a sponsor of terrorism. His dealings on behalf of the deceased Iraqi leader stand in stark contrast to the views his current employer held at the time."

You are right, Obama, Jr. has not repudiated Ayers. He has only repudiated his terrorist activities (what moron would not repudiate bombing the Pentagon?). He still defends his associations with Ayers, who is unrepentant for his violent terrorism.

You only hope he would not appoint Ayers to his cabinet. That is why I want the question asked. No one knows if he would. He values his association with Ayers over his mentor of 20 years, Rev. Wright, whom he did repudiate.

Prove the book was written entirely, without a ghost writer, by Junior. You do not know. You are just spouting what you want to believe.

You provided evidence that you know none of the answers to my questions, which is my point in asking them. No one knows the answers, because Obama, Jr. will not disclose what he really thinks and believes.

Why do you think rationalizing your vote on the BAIPA act is moral? ANSWER: another baseless allegation aimed at garnering the Catholic vote and adding the time-honored wedge to a failing campaign for some loft. McCain's healthcare plan would put more women into a position of no hope, and will likely have to turn to abortion to deal with costs of healthcare. His is not a pro-life healthcare plan. In fact it is the opposite. So start parsing that one over, willya?

Why do you think Americans should pay for the abortions of women who are too weak to say no to sex? ANSWER: because they'd pay for the research and the coverage of meds that keep those men from losing their ability to 'perform' and act irresponsibly.

Why will you not provide an official copy of your birth certificate? ANSWER: when McCain provides his detailed medical report AND mental health report to the voting public so that we might make an informed decision regarding his shaking health and mind.

Rick Davis received money until September from Fannie May - while he was in McCain's employ. He is STILL selling access to McCain - that's what lobbyists DO. Every one of McCain's lobbyists on his campaign have an agenda, and while they may not visibly make money from their lobbyist careers, they are certainly using their influence on McCain's policies. Cheney claimed he wasn't on Halliburton's payroll as VP, but Halliburton won no-bid contracts in Iraq and N.O. That's called war profiteering, my friend, and cronyism runs rampant with these guys. One relevant question
1) Senator McCain, your campaign has issued a press release trumpeting that it has been endorsed by Leonora Annenberg. However, it has been discovered that Leonora and Walter Annenberg have in the past given $50 million to William Ayers, whom you describe as a domestic terrorist. The Annenbergs, who are Republicans, have also give money to George W. Bush, Rick Santorum, Fred Thompson, Strom Thurmond and Mitt Romney. If you stand by your criticism of Obama for working with Ayers, do you also strongly condemn the Annenbergs for funding a man whom you call a terrorist? And would you also condemn Santorum, Thompson, Romney and other politicians who have endorsed you and, in effect, accepted money from terrorist sympathizers?

Besides since when do you put an abstraction before protecting innocent children. He also supports taxpayer funding of abortion and he supports eliminating all restrictions on abortion. Then, like a coward, he avoids his positions on these issues like they are a plague, but he does not repudiate them. He just does want them to be known to the general public.

Human Side of the Candidates
We know pretty much about McCain, but very little about Barack's human side behind his political persona. Bob should deal briefly with that with a question that reveals both candidates' private life. Barack is still shrouded in mystery. I have not heard or read any testimonials from his college friends, business associates and colleagues before he entered politics. I would've like to have heard from his grandparents, who are noticeably absent, about their grandson if they are able. The more we know about the candidates aside from their politics, the more informed we'll be. Barack appears to be a loner by nature and says very little about himself. That in itself is an uncomfortable situation, at least for me.

William Timmons, the Washington lobbyist who John McCain has named to head his presidential transition team, aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime.

The two lobbyists who Timmons worked closely with over a five year period on the lobbying campaign later either pleaded guilty to or were convicted of federal criminal charges that they had acted as unregistered agents of Saddam Hussein's government.

McCain should give up on Obama's past and focus on the damage that Obama's economic policies will do to our economy. It's bizarre to think that the very policies that were used to create the great depression and the malaise days of the Carter era are going to somehow work now.

Obama's associations are a problem since it shows the type of people he feels comfortable hanging out with and it shows that presidential candidate Obama is a fascade created to put a radical leftist in power. as for the sister, it is not directly parallel, of course and, truthfully, it did shock me that obama didn't cut this guy a check, pay for him to get job training or something. but the point i'm making is one of scale. obama's $4 to $5 million dollar fortune should be shared to raise his brother from poverty the same way cindy mccain's $100 million fortune should have been used to raise her sister from working class.

if you're worth $100 million, a direct descendant of your father, the man who made the money, should benefit....and not just get $10,000, credit card payments and some tuition.

now cindy, of course, isn't obligated to give one dime to her sister who she barely knows. and obama isn't obligated to give to a brother he barely knows.

When Democrats edged out Republicans to gain majority in the Congress in 2006, they did it trumpeting a message of “change” which is now being pushed once again by Senator Obama who is carrying the water for the Democrat leaders in the Congress. Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid both rode a wave of ending the Iraq war immaterial of the outcome, advocated a change from the so called corrupt Republicans and to run the most ethical & civil government. Lo and behold what did we get in the last two years? The Iraq war is winding down and our troops will return with honor just as President Bush wanted; we have seen a do-nothing congress waste two years of people’s time piling heaps of abuse on the administration and our troops while doing nothing to alleviate the energy crisis. And we now find out that the Democrats’ egregious greed and corruption are at the base of the meltdown of our economy going all the way back to Jimmy Carter. Beware of the “change” when it comes out of a Democrat’s mouth. If this is not enough, wait until you get Obama who is buddy with a domestic terrorist and an America-hating pastor ascends to presidency, assisted by the Democrat Congress. You get “MORE OF THE SAME”!

McCain-Pelin may not represent the best among us but have better plans than Obama-Beiden to bring about the real “change” to turn around this tanked housing market, flailing stock-market and make our country energy independent. Here are a few questions for Senator McCain:

1 – During the 110th Congress you voted on ten separate occasions to deny additional funding for veterans benefits. You also opposed extending the “GI Bill” to provide a college education to all returning vets, as was done after World War II. Will you pledge as President actually to care for our servicemen and women instead of just giving the issue lip service?

2 – As a Senator you’ve endorsed war or the threat of war against a number of countries, including Iraq, Iran, Panama, Russia, Afghanistan, Syria, North Korea, Serbia, and China. As President will you pledge to adopt a more rational attitude and not risk the lives of our brave military in such a reckless manner?

3 – Since abandoning your first wife (and daughter) in order to marry a wealthy heiress, you’ve led a privileged, luxurious life, while supporting policies (such as the 'privatization' of Social Security) that would threaten the financial security of millions of elderly people. Do you promise as President to take a more responsible positions regarding those less fortunate than you?

4 – According to the non-partisan Children’s Defense Fund, you have the worst voting record on children's issues of any contemporary Senator. As President will you devote more attention to the well-being of our most defenseless citizens and stop pandering to anti-abortion extremists?

this blog is a joke
one person, this eddie idiot, dominating almost the entire conversation yesterday with nonsense about Obama. Or as he calls him "Obama Jr." Not sure what that's supposed to mean but ha. ha. very funny. grow up!

on McCain...
he has just as much, if not more, shakey associations - so please don't go there tonight with the Ayers nonsense.

McCain and this Palin idiot are both corrupt. But don't take my word for it, research them yourself, objectively, and find out just how much nonsense and unethical behavior they have been involved in. Palin is currently facing ethics charges. Despite the fact that she seems as if she's in a state of denial.

All bets will be settled win the voters go to the booths on November 4. Obama and Biden will be sworn into office in January - you can bet on that. Sorry if it makes you mad, but that's the way it goes.

plumber- that's not fair.
Yes, Ayers posed for his portrait trampling the american flag. And yes, he and Obama were associates. But Obama was only 40 years old at the time!

Three Questions For Obama
1)Considering all of the legitimate complaints and state investigations of ACORN this election cycle, would Obama appoint a special prosecutor to investigate ACORN organized voter fraud. Would he demand that Congress defund this organization?

2)Consdering the huge amounts of taxpayer's cash the Wall St bailout is costing us, and the ongoing War on Terror, which domestic programs would Obama be in favor of cutting or scraping altogether?

3)Does Obama plan on extending the Bush 2003 tax cuts, or will he let them expire? Will Obama demand that Congress rescind the Alternative Minimum Tax?

Plus doncha know
that flag thing- it's just a symbol. It doesn't reflect a person's patriotism. Obama loves his country. He has been stressing that ever since his wife and Reverend's speeches became public.

My questions for obama
What is the difference between a "precondition" and "preparations" prior to diplomatic meetings? What "preparations" would you make?

In light of the fact that Achmedinijad has remarked that HE has "preconditions" for meeting with you, would you meet those?

When have you put yourself in an uncomfortable position in order to defend America? For example, did you ever speak up to your associates, or your fellow congregants to do so?

Why the lapel pin, when you made an issue out of it being a false symbol before?

You told Germans you are a "citizen of the world". Why didn't you tell them you were an American?

You said you'd like to downsize our military and look to the UN and NATO should those kinds of needs arise. How helpful have they been in the past. Do they have America's defense at heart?

You and Mr. Ayers funded schools that traded the pledge of allegiance to the flag for a pledge of allegiance to the world. Do your children say the pledge of allegiance?

Did you register with selective service on your 18th birthday or at any time thereafter? If not, why not?

more
You told graduating college students to forego corporate money and serve their community. You got rich as a community organizer. So were you saying they should forego money, or just corporations?

Your previous statements about your vote on the Born Alive act have been shown to be false. You were no doubt condufsed. Can you explain why you voted against it?

You alluded in your last debate to use of our military where genocide was involved. Do you consider that no such thing was happening under saddam hussein?

You have stressed the importance of killing bin Laden. Once that is accomplished, what then?

You proposed that the US pay a Global Tax to the UN that would essentially amounts to about $845 billion dollars. That's a couple thousand per taxpayer. Can you explain why?

You say you will save lots of money by pulling out of iraq. But you propose a surge into afghanistan. Where exactly will the cost savings occur (are the soldiers going to afghanistan for free? without supplies? what?)

You have said you will cut taxes for 95% of the middle class. But your proposal is really just a rebate check to people (not necessarily all taxpayers). The tax rates really won't go down. How can you say it's cutting taxes?

Why is your campaign using children in ads so much. Do you believe it's ethical?

Who specifically awarded you your college scholarships?

What do you plan to do specifically for the african american community that you will not do for whites?

I got a question!
Hey Bob, whats that thing on your face?
Spencer writes: Wednesday, October, 15, 2008 2:29 PM
My 2 cents
Ok... here's a question for Obama and any Dem out there...

If you have 1 employee, Mike, who earns $60K/yr, and another employee, Tom, who earns $40k/yr, would you say that it's perfectly ok to tell Mike that he has to give Tom $10K of his salary so that they're both earning $50K/yr? I mean, that would be fair right? It shouldn't matter that Mike possibly worked harder, or is more skilled at what he does than Tom... It's not fair to Tom that Mike makes more than him right? So, Mike should be perfectly willing to give Tom $10K/yr. right?

Yeah, ask any Democrat if they would be willing to do that? Actually, if they really do believe in that, then I assume they're already doing it right? Or at least when tax time comes, they send in an extra $100 when they pay their taxes right? Please...

Well done! You're a rock star. It was good to read your measured conversation with those from the left.

Real Questions
We need more questions like these at these debates. These debates have become painful to watch. There is nothing new to learn in these debates anymore. The illuminati media is simply trying to reinforce the status quo. Anyone who turns on nightly news or boots up a computer, or listens to radio has heard the same lies form these candidates over and over. Obama is the worst, for while he is promising massive and radical changes to government, it is the same script we've been hearing, all the while new reports point Obama out to be nothing but an idealist.
