Zogby Poll: The idiots elected Obama...(with a LOT of help from the media.)

"Yes, I swept the totally ignorant, and dummy vote."

Tell me why we should NOT have literacy tests in order to be able to vote. Please explain to me why having media-brainwashed-numbbots walk into a booth and pull a lever because of the mindless, godless, soulless, precinct captains told them to helps America.

I recognize that in the era of Reconstruction, literacy tests were used to exclude the votes of those who may have had a genuine right, interest, and engagement in the voting process. But how is it any different to cancel out the informed votes of people who actually have some modicum of knowledge about what it is they are casting a vote for?

Oh, are we voting for rainbow-excreting-flying-unicorns? Where do I register...

The Plumber
Wow, the conservative blogosphere sure must be sensitive about accusations of racism! Wonder why. Well, I don't know (or care) about the morays of the conservative blogosphere, but in the rest of world bringing up Bill Ayers makes you sound like a complete kook.

I'll let you in on something here, Plumber: For anyone who's even an inch to the left of being a hard-line Republican, the whole Ayers case seemed quite flimsy and irrelevant. I'm sure it's a huge deal to you if you're a knee-jerk conservative dwelling in the conservative blogosphere, but to the rest of the world it's nothing. And you can take that to the bank, Plumber!

Important Issues
Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism . Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot . Obama started his political career at the home of Ayers.

These are important issues very relative to the nation.
The Plumber writes: Wednesday, November, 19, 2008 10:52 PM
I know plenty of
college educated voters who pulled the lever for The One. Not one of them has heard of Ayres or Frank Marshall Davis. Not one of them knows what the heck Black Liberation Theology is. They'd all considered themselves "educated voters" until I proved them otherwise.

This isn't an indictment on the intelligence of Obama voters. It is an indictment of their knowledge, and an indictment on mass media outlets from which they receive their news.

And twomay? In the conservative blogosphere, the first to call another "racist" loses the argument. You lose.
Rob writes: Wednesday, November, 19, 2008 10:49 PM
Reality
Cincy 2LA was a little off in his haughty assumption. The college educated vote was, pretty much split, with both candidates getting just under 50%.

Obama got a slightly higher percentage of those with graduate degrees, by projection. Teachers unions supported Obama. Most teachers, with a few years under their belts, have masters degrees. Assumption: most voted for Obama. I have several teachers in my family (sister and two sisters in law). I don't think any of them voted for Obama. It's my understanding that more 50% of teachers, nationwide, voted for Obama. NEA was for Barack, should we credit him with the teacher's credentials across the board?

When it comes to those with hard science degrees, bachelors and above the scale tilts the other way. Regardless, both of these groups were well informed and for the most part their votes reflected that.

George Mason University's research indicated that, approximately, 40% of the public falls into the "under informed" category. We know what groups constitute this 40% and for whom they voted, overwhelmingly.

We're all in this unstable boat together. It will take cooperation by the parties to make the best of a bad situation. However, we must remain vigilant.

When one candidate wins an election by 6% after spending more than 3x as much per vote received and had the MSM heralding his candidacy, that can hardly be considered a mandate
Cincy2L.A. writes: Wednesday, November, 19, 2008 10:03 PM
Laura - Stats the Opposite What You Say
President Elect Obama completely buried Senator McCain amongst those with a college degree. The higher the level of education one had the more likely they were to vote for Obama. It wasn't even close so maybe you can think of something else. Maybe you could just post "I hate minorities," it's what you're thinking anyway. There's tons of righteous, rational thinking Haller Cons running around here but that ain't you.
Laura writes: Wednesday, November, 19, 2008 9:47 PM
Obama was elected by utter fools
On the O'reilly factor tonight, he showed a clip from a UTUBE video where 4 or 5 people were going to vote for Obama were asked if they knew who Harry Reed, Nancy Pelosi, or Barney Frank were; Not one of them did. They were asked which party controlled Congress, and they all said "Republicans" NOT! Then.........they were asked which of the candidates had a daughter was was unwed and pregnant and they ALL said, Palin. They were asked who said they could see Russia from their yard, and they all said, Palin. They were asekd who had $150,000.00 worth of clothes bought for them by the RNC and they all said, Palin. There's something really wrong when people who are THAT stupid are even allowed to vote, and just shows how the gossip and unfounded rumors stuck with them when they know absolutely NOTHING about how the government works or who is even in it!

I would have asked what made them think Obama was qualified to be Presiden. That would have really stumped the hell out of them!

This is Stupid - Cons Got Obliterated
This idiotic post from Mr. McCullough is based on what statistical model? The Republicans have shown that they're currently reduced to being the party of the rich and the ignorant. George W. Bush won by three million votes and President Elect Obama won by 6 million votes, a nine millon vote swing. You can make all the excuses in the world, blame the media and play the victim all you want - you got completely frickin' worked. A rebuking foot up your rear from one end of the country to the other. And don't blather about "real conservatism didn't lose out." What a pant load. If real conservatism had anything decent going they would have run it. Heck, Dems like Senator McCain more than you all do.

Ha, if only it were so easy. We both know that the liberals would never stay on their side and would not follow the rules.

But now to bring this back to a very serious note...see if you follow me on this one. Most know this Biblical account. Two women came to Solomon for a judgment. Both had had a child, and one had accidently killed her child in her sleep when she rolled over onto him and smothered him. Unwilling to accept her loss, she then claimed the other woman's child as her own. Two women, one child. Who was the mother?

Solomon proved his wisdom when he said to cut the child in two and give half to each woman. Obviously, that was not his real intent. Upon hearing the seemingly horrendous ruling, the real mother withdrew her claim in order to save the child's life. Solomon then knew who the real mother was--the one who would do whatever it took to save him. She received her child back.

Apply this to our nation. I believe that unlike your humor suggests what we know to be a preposterous consideration, that the liberals would indeed rather see America die rather than have it be a truly conservative and God-fearing nation. It is a spiritual battle for the soul of this nation. Ignorance and selfishness and blindness are part of the problem, but it really is a spiritual battle being fought in the unseen realm. Fortunately, we were given the blueprint of this in the Bible. God wins. We will see something even far more grand than Solomon's wisdom revealed when the final curtain is drawn.

Ho-hum
Another one of these "Obama supporters are idiots" things. Quite timely!

I'm sure if you parked outside of a polling place and interviewed McCain supporters you wouldn't find anyone who doesn't spend at least 12 hours a day watching C-SPAN.

You would NEVER meet a McCain supporter who, oh, I dunno, believes that Obama is a Muslim, and he wants to be sworn in on the Quran. You NEVER heard anyone say stuff like that at Republican rallies, right? I'm sure all McCain supporters are in touch with the issues and not at all racist. Yeah.

Speaking of literacy tests, can anyone explain to me what Kevin McCullough means by "mindless, godless, soulless, precinct captains told them to helps America." Told them to helps America? WHAT?

Ever hear the one about glass houses, folks?

Hussein's selection coutesy of morons and foreigners. This redefines the whole concept of 'foreign aid'. But then again, Barry has re-instituted the Clinton Era while being marketed by Oprah as a 'fresh face' and 'hope has won'. Perhaps someone can esplain to me what has changed and where the hope can be found in the Clinton administration (i mean Obama administration). SERIOUSLY!!!!!!

Chainsaw forgot one thing
We can keep the name of the United States of America for the conservative half. The liberal half shall be named the United Socialist States of America.

God Bless!

Half of the nation is already weeping.

I have a better solution....divide the country into two. Liberals can have one half and conservatives can have the other half.

Fair enough?

But there is a catch, once the two new countries are established, nobody from the liberal half can ever be allowed on the conservative half.
J writes: Wednesday, November, 19, 2008 4:24 PM
Both sides would lose some votes

the results of the illuminati and mainstream media. I wonder if they'd all have acted more intelligently if it was printed on McDonalds menu boards or written up inside a rap song.

Bring back the literacy test.

Confirmation Yet Again
Simply confirms yet again what I have already witnessed: ignorance and gullibility are the voters' trademark.

It is time to weep for America.
