Mad About Dem Censorship Try? Do Something About It.

So, this whole Dem censorship thing has got me riled.

Wanna do something about it?

WhereAreMyKeys and Confederate Yankee suggest getting in touch with ABC.

I noticed this morning that Debbie Stabenow was on the letter sent by Dems to ABC, so I thought I'd throw in for Mike Bouchard, her opponent for Senate in Michigan, who some are saying could pull off the upset.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: What are you watching out there in terms of what might be a fun race to watch in terms of an upset…
* * *
CHUCK TODD: I think...it's Michigan, I think Michigan that would be my Republican upset. . .
MATTHEWS: Governor beats. . .
TODD: . . .Not the governor, but Stabenow. Beat Stabenow get an upset. That that would be a big upset. She’s…
MATHEWS: Because the economy out there?
TODD: The economy, Michigan’s sort of an upside down state. If this is a change election, and they want change, Michigan is a state that - that needs change.

Then, I noticed New Jersey Senate candidate Tom Keane is catching flack today because his father, a former N.J. governor advised on "Path to 9/11."

So, I ponied up for him, too.

Update: Ace points out that the N.J. race is looking more and more like a pick-up due to some good, old-fashioned, Garden State corruption.

Join the fun!

Every Democrat Candidate
MKH

The action of the Dems in threatening ABC's license be the basis of a stock question to ask any Dem currently campaigning...

"Sir/M'am, Senate Democrats have written a letter to ABC/Disney and threatened their broadcast license if they don't edit or pull the docudrama "the Path to 9/11". Do you support or oppose this attempt at government censorship?"

I've asked that question on Phil Angelides (far left Dem candidate for CA governor) blog..no answer yet (no surprise there!)

Correct It, Don't Pull It
There is no need to pull the license. But, as a conservative I STRONGLY urge ABC to correct the falsehoods and misrepresentations in the upcoming “Path to 9/11” before it is shown. And I am not the only conservative saying this.

John Podhoretz, conservative columnist and Fox News contributor says: The portrait of Albright is an unacceptable revision of recent history and an unfair mark on a public servant who, no matter her shortcomings, doesn’t deserve to be remembered by millions of Americans as the inadvertent (and truculent) savior of Osama bin Laden. Samuel Berger, Clinton’s national security adviser, also seems to have just cause for complaint.

James Taranto, OpinionJournal.com editor says: The Clintonites may have a point here. A few years ago, when the shoe was on the other foot, we were happy to see CBS scotch "The Reagans."

Dean Barnett, conservative commentator posting on Hugh Hewitt’s blog says: One can (if one so chooses) give the filmmakers artistic license to [fabricate a scene]. But if that is what they have done, conservative analysts who back this movie as a historical document will mortgage their credibility doing so.

Chris Wallace, Fox News Sunday anchor says: When you put somebody on the screen and say that’s Madeleine Albright and she said this in a specific conversation and she never did say it, I think it’s slanderous, I think it’s defamatory and I think that ABC and Disney should be held to account.

Captain’s Quarters blog says:If the Democrats do not like what ABC wants to broadcast, they have every right to protest it — and in this case, they had a point.

Bill Bennett, conservative author, radio host, and TV commentator says: Look, "The Path to 9/11" is strewn with a lot of problems and I think there were problems in the Clinton administration. But that’s no reason to falsify the record, falsify conversations by either the president or his leading people and you know it just shouldn’t happen.
