McCain and the Jewish Vote

Last night, I mentioned that outreach to Jewish voters might be one reason McCain is keeping Joe Lieberman on his veep list.

Indeed.  Remarkably, it seems that Barack has the lowest numbers with Jewish voters since George McGovern (HT: Gateway Pundit).  And apparently, the Obama campaign is somewhat panicky about all this -- Lynn Sweet at the Chicago Tribune has essentially transcribed the anti-McCain talking points designed to appeal to Jewish Americans, which are being zealously circulated by Obama staffers.

This jew supports McCain
I am a jew and support McCain. Most interestingly, my 87 year old Grandparents in Florida (Yes deaths waithing room!!) are voting for McCain, the first time in their 65 year voting history (Except for Ike) that they are supporting a Republican. All their friends are supporting McCain.

I wonder who are all the jews who are supporting Obama and then I hear the yong people at my synagogue. Jews under 30 don;t worry about Israel toom much and are very liberal. I think those are the jews Obama has left. Lets see if they vote. I know that the old jews do.

Obama, the Jewish Vote and New York.
Should Obama's armour start to fail as it is now, his position on Iran will justifiably give Jewish voters reason to shun him. If so, New York could come into play especially if McCain picks Guiliani as his VEEP.
