This past Wednesday Governor Schwarzenegger held a half-hour press conference on the California Welfare System as it compares to the rest of the nation – and in relationship to the Clinton Administration’s “Welfare to Work Rules”. The press room was full of reporters, but only one – just one – newspaper cared enough to print the truth.
California holds 12-percent of the nation’s population, and yet the taxpayers of California are responsible for over 30-percent of the welfare cases in the country – that’s the country!
