Every month I do a podcast through America's Future Foundation with my friends Dave Weigel of Reason, Jamie Kirchick of The New Republic and our esteemed host David White.
We talked about Hillary's West Virginia win, the Mississippi special election, Obama's diplomacy and California's gay marriage ruling in this month's installment. And, I had to bring up the polar bears at the end.
Here's the link. And, if any of you are interested in becoming AFF members, which I highly recommend, you can sign up on the site as well.

The primary responsibility of the U.S. government is to protect the territorial integrity and people of this country. They have completely abdicated this responsibility. Both parties have been complicit in this. We are being told it is not possible to control our borders, enforce our laws, and thereby control our destiny as a nation. Hogwash. We are being sold out by corporations intent on importing workers for jobs that can't be exported with the taxpayers paying the true costs, financial and human. If we act like sheep and don't stop the inundation across our borders, we will lose our country without a bleat.

Please.
Amanda, I'm sorry it was your post that finally put me over the edge, because I really like many of your posts. BUT...
The Blog page of TH has become nothing but self-promoting, self-aggrandizing oneupmanship BY ALL THE TH BLOGGERS. With y'all thinkin' that most of us simply LIVE to know when next yer gonna show up on cable.
And THEN- in case we missed it- y'all gotta post the video! Enough already.
My suggestion- make another page titled- "Where we can be seen and heard" Then IF we want to know - we'll go to that page and find ya.
I'm sorry to be the one to tell you all- BUT YOU AREN'T THE NEWS.
You just report it. |

I started working as a campaign volenteer before I could vote. I have worked on every presidential election since 1968, with 2 exceptions I did not work on either Bush campaign. Why, because he is not was not and never will be a conservatative. He is a globalization capitalist now and he was then. and that to me is the most confusing thing about Obama, you'd think with 8 years of experience people would realize when they are "being had" I blame Bush for a lot but he didn't do anything without the consent of both Democrats and the GOP for years the republican house members a small group but yet the tried to stop him on amnesty and other issues, and when republicans staged the intervention in 06, unfortunatly a lot of them went down in defeat. and the same thing is going to happen this year . the problem is we need a real republican, a real grown up and we need it fast If there ever was a time for a 3rd party candidate this is it. everyone seem to forget or never knew that it was Esienhour who last warrned of the military industrial take over of the goverment. Only problem is he didn't know about "special interest global warming nuts" what does it say about us , if goverment is to restored to the people, the people must take it back, but we have to have a candidate to do it, who is he, where is he, someone better step up soon. |
