Leaving aside America's frat boy "pres"
Any country that spends a measly 1.7% of its GDP on defense (as Poland does), does not have a say in anything. Let's get something straight, Russia is not a power, military or economic. It is at best an Upper Volta with nuclear weapons and 1 million peasants with shoddy guns.
A triparite alliance between Poland, Ukraine and Romania (new "entente cordialle"?) for example, would have almost as much population, and a lot more economical clout than jumped up Muscovite gangster state.
Of course it would also have to have political will to be serious about things military.

Excuse me, while I "simulate" concern...
Even the Poles were nonplussed over the decision by the, Messiah, to pull missles out of that region.

Whatever your politics are, Obama pulled off this stunt and got NOTHING in return. A simple gesture of good faith with a country which has no concept of, "good faith".

Allow me to repeat, Obama got, N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

Diddley squat.
Zilch.
Nada.
Bupkus.

What a maroon...

You forgot about the Pipeline though. They have plenty of clout in the middle of winter when they can cut-off Europe.
