On Hardball, Chris Matthews just said his theory is that Obama is making moderate cabinet picks now in order to "give himself cover to govern from the left..."

Is that the Tingling Theory?
What happens when a reporter/journalist has tingling feelings when a candidate speaks? His tingly theory to defend the errors of the candidate become like left over food - great at the first bite, not so great by the last bite. Matthews is now realizing that 'hope' and 'change' are not good criterion for electing a candidate. And soon, when Russian warships begin their 'historic tours of global measures' Matthews can praise Obama's paralysis of 'inaction' by saying 'he is waiting for Russians to realize that war is not the answer'. Does anyone over 40 believe Obama has any game plan?
