Re: The Huck is Going to Storm Fox News

Amanda -- What do you think the odds are that either of us would ever be invited to come on Huck's Fox show???

I'll tell you what
I like it when TH talks about the Huckster. The more he is exposed, the better. We need to get rid of him as the earliest possible moment. I do know that the Huck folks are getting very tired of having to defend the indefensible.

And Marie
Stop attacking Mitt Romney for having higher standards and morals and yes, ethics than Huckabee.

It's a two way street, not on one way one, that Huckabee supporters seem to think it is. Up until Huck's gaffe on the LDS issue, i would have considered him. Now I can't trust him with even finding me insurance for my car.
Qweenmumof7 writes: Monday, July, 14, 2008 5:19 PM
Good for you Marie
Than I'm sorry I lumped you into the rest of those that seem to focus on Mitts faith, than his deeds.

I just don't think Huck really has much in the way of moral standards. There are so many times he's been caught lying, caught in corruption, saying things he shouldn't, playing dirty politcal games, making snarky, rude, dishonest comments about everything, especialy Romney who never once returned the insult. All the ethical issue are real, not imagined, they are documented! He just recently had to admit to breaking even more ethics rules when he said the woman who did his portrait donated it, when in reality he knew she was paid and he knew who the donors were. The list is quite endless.

He truly is a huckster, trying to sell a bill of goods about himself that is just not as advertised. Sorry, mariesgofer, I just don't think there's much to admire about him, and I think he's dangerous for our party in more ways than one. Not only that, why would anyone admire a bigot? I can't see it.

We Don't Know
We don't know what type of show the Huck Show could be, what the schedule would be, etc.. It could be one of those inspiring shows like the one John Kasich hosted or it could include a special musical guest each week. I doubt it's going to be a typical cable show.
rushshambula writes: Monday, July, 14, 2008 10:58 PM
I think its hillarious this back and
forth between Huckabee who I voted for but and Romney. Romneys people made his religion front and center on their campaign, then they blame Huckbee for smearing him. I am no tea-totaler either both Baptists and Mormons are so what it boils down to for me is who is a conservative closest to my belief. I am sorry you can look at Huckabees and Romneys experiance and record. Mitt Romney did not do one single conservative act as Govenor of Massachusetts. I think Huckabee lead by example and while not all of his opinions were inline with mine. I can't just drink the Romney kool-aide and take his word for his new found conservatism either. So keep up your bigot cackles calls I am a Lutheran. Mitt is Pro-Choice, pro-gay marriage, pro- gun control, and pro- government healthcare.
rushshambula writes: Monday, July, 14, 2008 11:03 PM
oh wait
govenor Romney was but now presidential candidate Romeny has seen the light and he has even gotten tougher on illegal immagration.

Woo-hoo were saved he comes from the same state as John Kerry. I wish Tancredo was the nominee

Hate To Break It To You Matt
Amanda has a much better chance of getting an invitation on any show. It's T.V. She is a good looking female, you're not.

Huck vs Mitt
Cut it out already. There is no point to continuing the religious wars. Neither one will be the GOP nominee, although I probably could have voted for either. McCain is the only one of the bunch I will not vote for. Sadly, he is the nominee and whoever accepts the VP slot will have to sign onto Gorebull warming taxes, amnesty for illegal aliens, and the rest of McCain's D-lite agenda. If Romney does that, then we will know he is the opportunistic political chameleon his critics charge that he is. Same for Huckabee. They should stay off the GOP Titanic.
PC writes: Tuesday, July, 15, 2008 3:19 AM
Oh heck, Virginia Patriot!
Huck is just as bad or worse on amnesty as McCain. I can't believe you would have voted for him! Shoot, I pegged you wrong. Huck is a much more horrible candidate than McCain. At least McCain doesn't lie about anything and everything or smear Mormons. Or make assassinate Obama jokes reflecting poorly on the NRA. Or send wingtips into Iran. Or fail to know about the latest NIE report. Hey, I could go on all day here, the guy is clueless.

Romney will accept and it doesn't bother me too much because he feels it's in the best interest of the country. I agree that it's problematic, but I don't think you can go so far as chameleon.

High moral standards??????!!!!!!!!!!
mariesgofer....How much do you know about Huckabee? I'm guessing not much because it is a huge S-T-R-E-T-C-H saying Yuckabee has high moral standards!

The "Christian" candidate:.

Gov. Huckabee was easy on rapists and felons, including convicted rapist Wayne Dumond, who raped and killed another woman shortly after his release from prison.

Huckabee commuted or pardoned over 669 prisoners, including 12 murderers --10 times as many as Bill Clinton did over 9 years.

Huckabee #6

His son tortured a dog to death and Huckabee hindered the animal cruelty investigation.

"Huckabee's personality has been described in negative terms as "petty, thin-skinned, self-righteous, and "somewhat vindictive"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Huckabee

Google "Huckabee" and "Obama assassination joke"

Also Google "Huckabee" and "Honky Tonk Woman". Some websites include the lyrics to this song--about getting drunk in a bar and having sex with a hooker. Now that's some good Christian music....

Like Romney, Huck had "evolved" on illegal aliens and had gotten on the side of American citizens. I don't particularly like Huck, but may have been able to hold my nose if he'd been the nominee. Even if Romney is dumb enough to get on board the GOP Titanic, I am not voting for McCain.

The best part of Huck on Fox
There is a very beautiful silver lining with Huck being on Fox and not anywhere near the white house!

mariesgofer - I like your attitude
Sometimes I just want to make everyone see how awful I think Huck is! I'm still in disbelief that anyone can find him an acceptable candidate, but I appreciate your sentiment and good attitude overall.

I disagree that there are explanations for all of Huck's problems, though. I've studied Huck a lot for over a year now, read every article imaginable, and I don't think any of his problems can be explained away or just written off as lies. It's all pretty much either documented by numerous sources or quotes that came straight from his own lips.

Regardless, thanks for your advice and have a nice day.

Qweenmumof7....I couldn't agree with you more!
