"... I frankly don't give a damn about the polls." - President Bush to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday.

Good for Bush
Good for Bush! The pollsters, the pundits, the prima donna radio talk show hosts have ALL been Wrong this election cycle..there is only one poll that counts(hopefully...unless you live in Washington state) and that is the poll voiced by "WE THE PEOPLE" and heard only WHEN WE VOTE! Be prepared to be shocked once again in Virgina tomorrow and be prepared to listen to the press find a way to spin themselves out of acknowledging the people's candidate- Governor Mike Huckabee!!!

Be A Maverick! No McCain Votes!

The Stupid Party

The RNC wants an amnesty candidate.

Don't vote for one.

Another amnesty will result in Democrat majorities for decades, or until they are supplanted by the La Raza Party, why doesn't the RNC know that? How stupid do you have to be to import voters for the opposition at the same time you alienate your own voters? Nominating any of the amnesty supporters is a losing proposition, we will not support them. If the GOP intends to surrender our sovereignty and abandon the rule of law, they will find in November 2008, that they still have their big money/cheap labor donors, but they do not have voters. This was after he complainedaboutObama's
foreign policy the threat of invading of Pakistan
and talking to Amadinejead and then a minute
later said we need to take the lead in foreign policy.

ummm, didn't you just say?

Even better is when he says it is not worth taxing the rich because
they will find a way out of it and then says the middle class is the one
who will pay most of the taxes as they always have.

Thanks, Mr. President may I have another.

Presidents could do what polls indicate
...but then why have a President, or a Congress, for that matter? Just take a poll on everything, and rule accordingly. Perhaps we should all live this way. Hey Bob, I'm taking a poll on whether I should get a new job, a divorce, and buy a house. What do you think? Really? I should just jump off a cliff? Ok, thanks!

Interesting topics with unique views
There are a number of very interesting topics of discussion on this site. I am wondering if there are site visitors interested in helping me with my dissertation project survey.

I am a graduate student at the University of Rhode Island working on my dissertation in Behavioral Science. The study involves a number of questionnaires taken together to measure individual attitudes about nonviolence, violence and interpersonal interactions. I need volunteers to take the questionnaire, which takes about 15 minutes to complete. The University of Rhode Island Institutional Review Board has approved this study.

Anyone over 18 can volunteer to help me by taking the anonymous questionnaire on line at

http://tinyurl.com/2m4bkg

You can also send the survey URL to others by email if you want to help me to get more responses.

There is an incentive to participate in the study. I will be giving away a Sansa M240 1-GB MP3 Player in a random drawing to ONE person who completes the questionnaire and provides an email address contact so I can follow up to ship him or her the player.

It would be great if you would consider helping me with my research project.

Bush
Any true leader, like the President, would never lead by the polls, like Clinton. He would lead according to what's best for the people as a whole. Like he said, they poll a few people and that's supposed to represent the majority?

Bush doesn't care about the polls.....well, gee he and the Republican tier sure cared a bit ago, when they were pushing McCain to be the nominee!

Most Pols are Bi Polar Concerning Polls
Yeah, nobody likes polls unless they tell us what we want to hear.

Hey, why are the Washington Caucus results still frozen at 87%. It is still a tight race with Mac, Huck, and Paul there. What is the story behind the delay? Can't find anyone covering it.

TRANSLATION TO MEAN:
"I really don't give a damn about what the U.S. Citizen bigot thinks!...I'm the decider, and I know everything because Dick Cheney and my neocon friends at the LOBBY keep me well informed! Has any body seen my watch?...Dick!..I've lost my watch again!"

November is a long time from now
The point is that the General Election is 9 months away. World Events can happen to dramatically change the mixture.

The mood of the electorate can and will change and the polls that appear to be completly bogus the election cycle can only reflect the present and not the future.

Great Take
Bush would have been a natural for "Gone With The Wind". Maybe we should start calling him Rhett Bush.
