Man, this must be a hard reality for you Matt. McCain's fellow RINO just endorsed Obama. Can we now expect John McCain to do the same? It would not surprise me.
McCain and Chafee have been cohorts for a LONG TIME. Neither hold any loyalty to the GOP. But I guess that all changes when you put the mutineer in charge of the ship, eh? |
NO! Would have been nice if we could of traded him for Zell Miller when they were both in the Senate. |
If they're such good friends, and both "liberals", then why do you suppose he didn't endorse McCain? Could it be you're wrong? |
Let's hope that is true. No more McCain after November, anywhere. Maybe he'll become a conservative talk radio personality. |
No surprise...kinda like McFreak seriously considering running with Kerry. Which is worse, endosrsing an opponenet or considering running with the opponent. As usual, McShamnesty is the king of backstabing. |
Is even BETTER news for America. This only gives conservatives ANOTHER reason to stand by and let Obama clean McCain's clock -- we will finally be rid of McCain! |
It could also be that those closest to McCain, those who know the man best, also realize:
1) There is no practical difference between McCain/Obama
or
2) America will suffer less under Obama than McCain
or
3) the fear that McCain will show the same "loyalty" to his liberal RINO pals as he has shown the GOP.
My guess is it is a combination of the three. |
Lincoln Chafee was always a Democrats in disguise. Only got the job because his father died and the GOP supported him.
Does anyone really care what he says? |
There's no honor among thieves. Chafee is bitter because his RINO butt got tossed; he's angry because McCain, who actually deserves to be thrown farther than Chafee was, is being given a promotion for doing the same things Chafee did. Thus, he gives the McCain one finger salute to the GOP and endorses Bombs Away Obama. |

Nice to see you started your post with childish namecalling, and supported nothing you said with fact--simply your own misguided opinions. Just the norm when dealing with either a liberal poster on this board, or one suffering from severe McCain Derangement Syndrome. Seek help. |

The only people who actually believe that a McCain presidency would be worse for conservatives than an Obama presidency are those who are blind to the facts. Feel free to debate McCain's positions that conservatives (myself included) disagree with him on, but lets get one thing straight: there is no comparison between possible McCain and Obama presidencies. And because I understand this, I fully comprehend the dangers of allowing the Democrats to win in November (retreat in the war on terror, liberal judges on the SCOTUS, complacence in regards to Iran and national security issues, socialist economic policies, etc). Those are all tangible differences that would inflict serious damage to this country for years to come, and I'm not willing to sit idly by and let it happen. |
And I'm a real conservative.
Could sissy boy Chafee be more conservative than we thought?
Nah. He's just a puke. But we're strange bedfellows. |
who McCain will support to take his seat?
Maybe AZ AG Terry Goddard (major league lib, even moreso than McCain)?
Or maybe open borders/Mecha/UN sellout Demo congressman RRRRRRRRRRRRRaullll Grrrrrrrrrijalva?
McCain is such a putz. I'll never vote for him. |
