Obama's Gas Tax Hypocrisy

The RNC hits back on Obama's allegations that a gas tax holiday is a "gimmick" and a "scheme."

How do you spell relief--no gas tax
Obama claims he doesn't take money from lobbyist and rich oil companies. While the American people are hurting Obama doesn't support gas tax relief because he gets their money and he needs it to continue his campaign. He has earned over $286,000,000 since his campaign started. I believe monies were set aside a few years ago and were hidden under different groups and organizations and are now coming out from these organizations to fund his campaign. I also think Oprah is involved she has a lot of pull and money. Can someone say ILLEGAL!

No one is making sense on oil
It's not about taxes, it's about getting the politicians to stop trying to "fix" the problem by all of their interference and instead, providing a friendlier environment for the oodles of capital that already has the answers but are afraid to invest in long-term projects because of the lawyers and eco-terrorist environmentalists. Just try to build a wind farm off Hyannis or a solar string ribbon factory in Devens or drilling anywhere or building a refinery anywhere. You name it, the politicians always line up with the problem instead of helping get the problem out of the way.

It could've been stronger
The RNC could have included Obama's suggestion that his name appear on placards stating he was responsible for the 2000 Illinois gas tax holiday at the pump.
