No wonder her approval ratings are so high. She seems to really want to help the people. |

Hot Air has posted an entry reporting that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has written Sen. Reid a letter with the following message: Start drilling in Anwar.
Check her out:

If Obama would only stop distracting us with his nonsense about race, his nonsense about his wife, and his nonsense about his wardrobe and his seal, we could nail him to a cross on the energy issue. Dems won't drill and they won't commit to nuclear.
Time to saddle up and get going. Obama just wants to preen for the press. Let's take his knees out. |

I do not go to moveon.org, but this weekend they were having a HUGE bake sale. They wanted it to be the largest ever! The proceeds from the sale are to help them continue to help Obama get elected to the White House. Please note: Did not attend, got invited by a friend.

Denial can be a wonderful defense mechanism. So can whistling past the graveyard. Newt's web hits are irrelevant, so what, not a big deal, much ado about nothing? Then why bother commenting, Kimberly?
You comment because you feel threatened that the conservatives may beat your candidate, helped along by Newt's Drill Here, Drill Now petition. You know, deep down in places you don't talk about at parties that YOU want to drill here, YOU want to drill now too, but your guy isn't for it and it could spell his doom in November. So, if it is truly no big deal/meaningless that Newt has booocooo web traffic, don't post a comment. |

"In other words, McCain is open to an extended military presence in Iraq, similar to ones we’ve had in Germany, Japan or Kuwait. He does not wish for, nor does he anticipate, a 100-year war in Iraq."
I'd like to know why in the hell do we still have troops in Germany and Japan. The Cold War is over.
"So, why, I wondered after first seeing the MoveOn ad, did I find it so ... creepy?"
I don't know, but I sure do find Kristol a creepy cretin. |

Hilarious.
An addendum to my proposed political cartoon. Have Gingrich steamroll Obama's several-day-old seal.

I'd like to know how much money went into devising that one. It ranks up there with "New Coke." And you have to ask, "What was Obama thinking?"
I think he's setting up these idiotic matters on purpose so that no one notices that Obama has no clothes. |

I can't help but notice the state-by-state breakdown:
The following states are in the top ten and would likely be affected by Drill Now:
1.CA(also a lot of expected hits on MoveOn), 2.FL, 3.TX, 4.GA(more likely since Newt is from GA that this hits No.4), 7.NC, 9.VA |

Because MSNBC is running that baby ad to nauseam I noticed that MoveOn no longer gets credit for the ad at the end. They now say it is being sponsored by AFSCME. Interesting. |

Somebody needs to do a political cartoon with Gingrich wearing a oil miner's helmit driving a big steamroller in a Fourth of July parade with Moveon.org getting flattened along with Alex's mom.
Alex will be standing safely by the roadside with his recently discovered dad. Alex will be wearing a Cub Scouts uniform, waving an American flag in his left hand, and saluting with his right.
Alex's dad will say to Alex, "Hey, when the parade is over, we need to get you signed up for football starting later in the summer."
Oh, Bill Kristol will be standing nearby with his big grin waving his excellent editorial in today's New York Times:
