Maybe you've heard Rush and others talking about this newly released CNN interview with Colin Powell. Powell, who has gone out of his way to defend Obama's plans and blast conservatives (like Limbaugh) for their attempts to hijack the Republican Party and push it to the Right, starts to sound a little bit like the Powell of 1996.
|
|
Powell can wring his hands and sweat over Obama and the rest of the liberal democrats' lunatic trip to economic apocalypse for all I care. He was and is part of the Obama problem.
I don't care about Helen Thomas' "concern", I don't care about Powell's "concern", and any other liberal that is voicing some "concern" now should've been a lot more concerned when the media was pushing Obama into the Oval Office last year. |

The dems are doing what they taught the 'buyers of homes they couldnt afford', that is dont worry just borrow, what the heck, someone else will pay for it anyway. Our nation is under assult and I am just wondering how we can remove Obama and his pals before we are ruined.I am affraid hell get it all done before the next election comes so its too late.We will be able to reverse some of the idiocy then , but not all of it. |

that chose to drink the Kool-Aid instead of evaluating the candidate based on his own merits are the problem. Its quite obvious he (BHO) talks up a storm saying all the right things while straight out lying to your face. You just need to listen and ask questions. None of it makes sense.
All you had to do was look at how he got elected in each of his positions. All you had to do was to look at how he operated once he got elected; which groups he catered to; which pieces of legislation he endorsed and which ones he voted present on. Its public information folks.
Look at a his associations and you see a constant theme. It was obvious in 2006-2007 and its coming to light now. Look at his role on the board of non-profit organizations.
Look at the people he represented, read the interviews of his co-workers at the law firm ("he spent more time writing his book than practicing law"). What does that tell you? Narcissist! Its all about him! He will not do whats best, he will do absolutely what his ideology tells him to. And if you managed to read that God fore saken piece of rag that he 'supposedly' wrote (we all know that the firs book was written by Ayers) you would realize he doesnt know who the hell he is.
How could you people vote for the most inexperienced person ever at a time like this? And knowing full well his pick for VP was? Are you kidding me?
All you that voted for this moron...are starting to eat lots and lots of crow; and I hope you continue to do so.
Every single one of his actions to date (with the exception of sniping the pirates) is a threat to our liberties and an insult to our founding fathers who fought to create those liberties.
Take the country back in 2010. |

Powell voted for him, not because of any merits Barry may have had, but because of the color of his skin. Powell's oath as a military man to protect and defend the Constitution agains all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC, was pre-empted by his ethnic bias. His words are hollow.
J..don't give that weasly coward ANY credit for the pirates, he hemmed and hawed for FOUR days while the Captin languished in captivity. The SEALS could have taken out the pirates the time the Captain jumped overboard but were prevented by our heroic dear leaders orders. It was the Captain of the Bainbridge and Commander of the SEALS that determined to take out the pirates and Barry had to save face and go along with it.. and of course take credit where he was due NONE. |

Overheard a lady talking to her running mates in a store this AM -- didn't know any of 'em.
The lady was saying, almost yelling, that she had been a democrat since the Vietnam War and had voted for Obama. She was not at all happy with his administration.
I didn't stick around to hear her entire tirate, but gathered that what had really lit her boilers was that she had just heard about Obama liking the MA Health Plan and intended to fine those who refused health care coverage $1,000.00.
It seemed that she had care, but was concerned that folks she knew had neither health care or the $1,000.00.
She and her friends were still blowing steam about how they were all about to get taxed and screwed by Obama when I finished my shopping and left.
I turned on the TV when I got home and seen something about the senate having passed a bill that included the $1,000.00 fine. Had not heard of it before.

I agree with you. Now Powell is starting to look foolish and wants to back track. For me Powell has lost all credibility. This was a man I once admired and thought would have been a great president. Boy was I wrong. |

...the dumb idea that all people can have homes and healthcare and it will just fall out of the sky like manna from heaven. Or there are some phantom rich people out there and if the govt. could just get them to cough up with the bucks, everybody could have everything.
And then when they realize common everyday people are going to have to anti up something, they go ballistic.
Same thing happened with HillaryCare. Once the details came to light, it was DOA.
Well, I'm happy to hear some people are finally making friends with reality. Too bad they they didn't come to their senses before the election. |
|
This is just the beginning, wait til these voters really get hit in the pocketbook. I didn't know about the $1000.00 fine either..just where do they think they are going to get all this money they are throwing around..they are like vampires, never enough blood to suck out of their victims. There are a lot of elderly s.s. recipients who are barely making it, many of them will be taxed out of their homes in blue states like mine. Don't you just love it? These elite elected thugs, who have the Porsche of Federal Health Care on our dime forcing us into the Obamacare Jalopy. We need to confront them every chance we get and demand answers.. Are you going to give UP your health care and join us in the rumble seat of Obama Care? Are you going to forego heating your offices, chambers and homes (and cooling in the summer) in solidarity with the Cap and Traitor bill you shoved down America's throat UNREAD? They need to feel the HEAT! |

When 96% of the Black Voters voted for Obama it was all about Change, I believe! The Change that they voted for, was the Change of the color of the Presient's skin! ONLY 4% voted for McCain, and they say that the whites are racial! Beam ME Up! AXLE |

Here's some restoration, reformation, & revolution that Our Founding Fathers supported:
1) Advertise and Promote the Fact that you are forming a Grand Jury in Blogs, Local Newspapers and Community Organizations.
2) Form the Grand Jury and select a Foreman.
3) Select a Private Attorney General to make Presentments to Grand Jury, if local DA refuses to make presentments.
4) Select a convenient Meeting Place.
5) Communicate with all Citizens who have criminal information to present.
6) Schedule presentments by said Citizens.
7) Subpoena documents from Government Offices and Officials.
8) Schedule presentment of said Documents to Grand Jury by Grand Jury Attorney General.
9) Have Grand Jury Attorney General present said Documents to Grand Jury.
10) After investigation and deliberation is completed, vote and issue a True Bill (Indictment) or No True Bill.
11) Announce all Indictments to the Press.
12) Serve the Indictment on the Judiciary for the Issuance of Arrest Warrants.

Agree with all.
Heard the tail end of another sneaky tax this morning, but I was cooking my breakfast and didn't catch it all. It escaped me what it was, but it shocked me at the time. Did it have something to do with Cap and Trade -- can't remember. |

at the Table?
Powell really expected to be a player in the administration when he endorsed Obama. Well, Powell, welcome to Chicago politics!
Now he's worried about spending? Obama promised insane spending and that is one promise he's keeping so why is Powell concerned? Maybe it's because the money isn't flowing his way. Aw, gee! Cry me a river you traitorous jerk!
In Pournelle and Nivens' "Inferno" the lowest rung of hell was reserved for those who betrayed their benefactors. This is one of the times when I regret being an atheist. I would really like to believe that Powell will get what he deserves. |
