They had been praising his integrity, but in the past months they've stopped just short of claiming that he'll come in the night to steal your children. The Democrats do need to explain what exactly has changed about him, other than the need to get their guy in the White House. The thing is, it's going to be a hard sell to most voters after they see the breadth of the contrast. |

Okay, I am not trying to kill Pawlenty's chances with this. Personally I would prefer Palin or Romney as Veep, but Pawlenty would be fine. But I think Pawlenty's sentiments are correct. The correct approach with Obama is attack him when warranted and focus on McCain's positives (which are real despite some of the Conservative Balkan Serbians here at TH). |
