Another Set of Tea Party Recaps

We have a few more additions to the Tea Party reports, this time we have bloggers checking in from the events in...

Pam sent in a report from the Memphis Tea Party, estimating 4,000 people in attendance, ranging from babie to the elderly. There were "all kinds of flags, signs and people dressed as colonists, Indians, Uncle Sam, and Lady Liberty," among others. Memphis has also planned similar events for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day.

Representatives serve 2-year terms, so that would be six of them, and senators serve six years, so that would be two terms. I think the only person in congress serving a 4-year term is the VP.

The closest tea party here wasn't close enough.I have menneire's disease/vertigo.Travel is out. I would have loved to made it;just can't. Now my question is;where does this movement go from here? I hope ppl will continue to contact that their Congressman and call and email the White House on issues of importance.Numbers count.Whatever one does there has to be plenty of ppl on the same page making contact. it does make a difference. So what is next? I hope we're going to get some decent ppl elected in 2010. Like to be working on that. Myself i wouldn't vote for anyone unless they assured me they would do all they could to get term limits for Congress..I'd even settle for 12 yrs.
