Why don't you blog on Daily Kos? You would fit right in there. |

Obama looks lame, as usual, with his 'explanation' of his flip flop on this issue. Unfortunately, Kimberly has a point. McCain has his own flip flop problem and he is no more believable, to me at least, than Obama on the policies he has flipped on.
Why Kimberly, hard core Stalinist to the last, posts her agitprop comments at TH is a curiosity. She doesn't change any minds, only occassionaly manages to annoy someone and 99% of the time she is a source of derisive amusement for TH readers. But hey, it is her 'individual' right to speak her mind, even if she speaks as part of a 'collective' political philosophy and makes herself look silly in the process. |

Again, is why he wouldn't just say, "I disagree, but I have tremendous respect for the Supreme Court and would abide by the ruling."
Done. He comes off looking fair, honest, and respectful for the law and Constitution.
Or even, "I was convinced of the validity of the argument after reviewing the decision and the amicus briefs."
Still looks a little wobbly, but also can be interpreted as someone who is not bound by dogma, but is willing to change in the face of facts or a good argument. (Not a bad trait for a leader.)
This way, is just... really... lame. |

Forget calling Obama flip-flop, with his velocity and amount of change he should be referred to as "Spinner" instead. If Gary Trudeau hasn't gotten around to making up an "icon" for him in Doonesbury, he could use the spinner from the game of Twister for BHO.

I respect the people like Ted Kennedy who are proud Dem/libs than the weaselly Dem/libs who try to hide their Dem/libbedness to get elected - McCain, for example. |

Hugh, your buddy Erwin once again demonstrates your poor judgement in elevating his profile from anonymous Ivory Tower leftist to nearly-anonymous Ivory Tower leftist.
Under the cover of the four apparently retarded SCOTUS judges who do not believe what they read in the constitution, nitwits like Erwin and Squeaks Daley in Chicago can whine about "conservative activist judges" on the Supreme Court, and the nerve they have of actually reading the constitution, and finding not just a First Amendment, but ... a Second Amendment!
Every time Erwin opens his whiny mouth, the left edge of the political world gets stupider. |
