I don't know how long post-production took or for how long it sat on the shelf before it was released, but Swayze might have even been just 29 or 30 when it was actually filmed.

Your math teachers did say that it was vital, didn't they? Then again, given I'm a bit older than you (all I will say is that I am finally eligible to write myself in for President), and I was at the tail end of the era where mathematics for its sake was a part of the cirriculum, I can't assume you got that speech from the teachers. I am sure, however, your dad let you know that basic math was essential.

Swayze's "She's Like the Wind" is a great song. I actually played the entire "Dirty Dancing" CD for my Valentine a few weeks back. Seriously, I haven't met a girl with a pulse who can resist that CD.
