Obama Wants A Blank Check on TARP
Posted by: Amanda Carpenter at 3:54 PM
Mr. Transparency doesn't want any restrictions on the $350 billion TARP money he's seeking.

Senate Democrats emerged from a closed-door luncheon today saying President Obama will VETO any bill that comes with strings attached to the $350 billion.

It's downright Bushlike, don't you think? (And, I don't mean that in a good way.)

transparency, is a bridge to NO where
obama will make himself KING as soon as they abolish the 22nd amendment to the constitution.

Addendum
If my memory serves, few were in favor of any of the bailouts until the money was to go to Obama. Now they are anything from a necessary evil to a great idea.

Thanks for the help but actually most of us right wing ideologues take care of our own grandparents, we don't expect the taxpayers to do it for us.

Many Doubts Are Overcoming My Good Will
January 13, 2009
First and foremost I am looking forward to reading your newsletter. I think in general these gargantuan numbers are scary and the last attempts were not bereft of criticism. The auto industry here is coming out with vehicles that are far too expensive and for many reasons are out of reach of buyers who are already reluctant to purchase from shaky concerns. Wall Street is continuously going south and layoffs are all over the map. There have been several misunderstandings concerning the data relating to how many jobs will be created and whether they will offset the predictable amount of jobs we will lose. I am starting to see the non-specificity and the associations that highlighted the primaries. I am pushing 58 and a successful businessman, probably because in 1973 I dragged a copy machine through the streets of Manhattan for Smith Corona and never stopped learning and working hard. I feel empathy for all who for whatever reason, I believe are going to face difficulties as this morass drags on.

No more bailouts dump FED
In american you fail it's because you deserve too! Your business model failed, we didn't buy what you were selling. The Federal Reserve is leading us to disaster with printing money. They are criminals. Abolish the Federal Reserve.

If OBummer gets a blank check
on the TARP money, clearly half will end up in that corrupt Chicago political machine.

ACORN and hater Farrakhan need their "fair share" too, don't they??????

Obama's blank check under the tarp...
If Ombama can tough it out, Treasury Secretary-elect Timothy Geithner can eventually cut him one. After all, Geithner has demonstrated that he is good at manipulating the paperwork.

No scarlet
That would be those on the right accepting your idiodic idealogy. That is why you keep coming here isn't it?

As far as the TRUTH goes, it is you, not I that cannot handle the truth.

Obviously Lola
must keep changing her identity because she is so vile here she keeps getting flagged as offensive.

I think they should just ban her IP address permanently.

Lola, as long as you are so vile and devisive, you will never get a real debate on anything from anyone here. We depise vitriolic trolls such as you.

Learn how to be reasonable like Christianlib and you will garner honest and robust debate, until then you are pond scum.

Please change your name back to Lola C. Thanks.

Kathy, right on!
Especially since Michelle had her salary from the hospital she works raised to three times her starting pay. Oh, but I digress; She'll have to quit that job now so she can stay home (in the white house) and tell hubby what to do. Every man needs a black widow wifey behind him to keep him on the straight and narrow.

Tell Michelle Obama
to give her husband the family checkbook instead, that should hold him over for a little while.
