ABC has a poll out asking what Americans want for Christmas. The results? Christmas is pretty ordinary: pair of boots, warm coat, supersonic jet and submachine gun. They may want to keep an eye on the person who asked for the submachine gun. A day after President Obama talked about spending like its Monopoly money, Congress is set to raise the debt ceiling again.

At this point it isn't much of a shock, but Balloon boy was a total hoax. Charges are most likely going to be filed. Should the parents have to pay for the rescue costs? The fire department has banned any personal stickers from lockers, regardless of how patriotic they may be.

Elvis hair update: The King’s hair sold for $15,000. Plus two of his shirts went to John Urso from Inverness for about $80,000. A female high school student in Mississippi won't be in her year book because she wanted to wear a tuxedo. She didn't like the female attire for the year book, but the schools says that she is violating the rules. Of course the SCLU is now involved. Since there is now firm rule on the books, does the school have the right to tell students what to wear in their photos? House of Squalor: Woman convicted of animal cruelty uses stun gun on trooper. She had several dogs, roosters, a donkey and a wolverine among other animals living in her home.

A bus carrying prisoners from Cook County Jail to Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet broke down Tuesday morning on the Stevenson Expressway. Thankfully none of the passengers were able to get off of the bus. Channel 7 anchor Judy Hsu gave birth to a son yesterday, on the Eisenhower Expressway. When Animals Attack: Two Ohio boys were assaulted during a football game. It wasn't gang violence though, they were attack by two deer. Richard Strandlof said he survived the 9/11 attacks on the Pentagon. He said he survived again when a roadside bomb went off in Iraq, killing four fellow Marines. The problem is that none of it was true, the FBI has arrested him on the rare charge of "stolen valor."
