Yesterday Mayor Daley got into a bit of a dust up with Tera Willaims from Fox Chicago when she asked a question about Michael Scott's death. Was Daley emotional over the loss of his friend, or was he just trying to dodge the question? Jesse Jackson says that "you cannot vote against the health care plan and call yourself a black man." Is Jackson needlessly injecting race into the health care debate?

A police officer in Arkansas is suspended for using a Taser on a 10 year old girl. The girl hit the police officer in the groin with both feet and her knees. How young is too young for a police officer to use a Taser. New Illinois law requires school bus driver to check to make sure there are no kids left on the bus at the end of every trip. The Cook County Board today voted 12-5 to reduce the county sales tax by a half-cent on Tuesday. John and Cisco talked about it with Cook County Commissioner Tony Peraica.

Senator Robert Byrd is now the longest serving member in the history of Congress. That NY-23 race still might not be over, as now Hoffman has “unconceded”. The vote margin has shrunk to about 2,000 people or so. It's a long shot but it's not over yet. Photos of President Barack Obama bowing to Japan's emperor over the weekend are still the talk of the country. Was he just showing respect to the Emperor or was it just another sign of Obama's weak foreign policy?

Using kids as political props: 10 year old refuses to recite the Pledge Of Allegiance to protest treatment of gay rights. Do you think he really feels strongly about gay rights, or are his parents pushing him into it? Politicians are continuing to square off on bringing Gitmo detainees to Illinois. Stimson served as the Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary for Detainee Affairs, where he advised the Secretary of Defense on detainee issues worldwide, including at Guantanamo Bay, Iraq and Afghanistan. CNN reportedly paid Lou Dobbs $8 million to leave the network. Jonathan Klein didn’t like Dobbs stories about illegal immigration and the anti-Obama “birther” movement.

A soldier is refusing to deploy to Afghanistan because she is a single mother and says that she cannot find someone to take care of her child. The army gives parents up to a year to come up with a child care plan before they are deployed, and she failed to do so. Is this a lack of compassion on the part of the military or is the parent not living up to her contract with the Army? A new report says that so far at least 10% of the jobs supposedly created by the stimulus package are completely bogus. President Obama has apologized for the United States at virtually every stop he's made around the world, but when he was in Japan he would not apologize for the United States decision to drop two atomic bombs during World War II. Vice President Biden’s motorcade was involved in a fatal accident Wednesday. The Secret Service was on a return trip, so Biden was not in the motorcade at the time. Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin thinks that she may have uncovered a conspiracy. She thinks that "In Go We Trust" is slowly being moved off of the US currency. A Milwaukee Army reservist's military identification earned him some street cred Tuesday. It seems like every day we learn more about the connections between Ft. hood shooter Nidal Hasan and radical islam. John and Cisco got the latest from Eben Brown with Fox News Radio live in Texas. During his speech at Fort Hood yesterday President Obama said that the shooter "will be met with justice -- in this world, and the next." Does it bother you when the President of the United States goes that far into religious territory? The family of a Texas boy mauled to death by pitbulls are taking down a makeshift memorial at the site of his death. They are taking it down because the property owners are asking them to take it down, the property owners just happen to also be the owners of the pitbulls who mauled the boy to death. Senator Jim DeMint has introduced a bill in the Senate that would institute term limits. Do you think that is a good idea?
