A bus carrying prisoners from Cook County Jail to Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet broke down Tuesday morning on the Stevenson Expressway. Thankfully none of the passengers were able to get off of the bus. Channel 7 anchor Judy Hsu gave birth to a son yesterday, on the Eisenhower Expressway. When Animals Attack: Two Ohio boys were assaulted during a football game. It wasn't gang violence though, they were attack by two deer. Richard Strandlof said he survived the 9/11 attacks on the Pentagon. He said he survived again when a roadside bomb went off in Iraq, killing four fellow Marines. The problem is that none of it was true, the FBI has arrested him on the rare charge of "stolen valor."

Six-year-old Zachary Christie was so excited to become a Cub Scout that he brought his camping utensil to school. The state’s money woes are worse than predicted due to plummeting tax revenues and an unprecedented number of unpaid bills, the Illinois comptroller's office said on Wednesday. If the state is in such a hole, how could Chicago have afforded the Olympics? Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi criticized Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal for making recomendations for Afghanistan during press conferences. Didn't Pelosi use press conferences to criticize Bush's policies? The Wisconsin parents who decided to pray for their daughter rather than treat her diabetes have gotten six months in the slammer. Is six months the right punishment or should they have gotten more jail time?
