Max Baucus has been organizing a bipartisan health care plan. One idea is to require everyone to have health insurance, and fine people as much as $3,800 for going without coverage. Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin is putting a chance to dine with Palin and her husband Todd Palin up for auction on eBay. The bidding starts at $25,000 and all proceeds from the sale are to be given to "Ride 2 Recovery." Is there anyone that you would pay $25,000 to have dinner with?

A rather clever speeder has been putting a mask on and running red light cameras. Since they cannot identify the driver, they cannot ticket him. So the police is allocating special resources to catch him. Is this a waste of time and money or brining a scofflaw to justice? President Obama gave his speech to school students yesterday. A school system has had to move a bus stop after it was discovered that children were being dropped off in front of the house of a registered sex offender. So many people have had to register that it's almost impossible to find a place where there isn't one. Are they laws a little too strict or is it best to play it safe? The speech doesn't seem to fit the material they gave to teachers last week, so do you believe that this is originally what he planned to talk about or was it changed after the uproar? Unemployment is now up to 9.7%. More and more signs point to a jobless recovery once the recession does end. Some people in California refused to evacuate during the wildfires because they wanted to save their homes. Now they are screaming for help. Two different websites are offering fake job references for the truly desperate job seekers. It's actually not illegal to do that, but is it ethical to do something like that?
