Part 2: The National Defense highlights another great story made possible by the VFW's "Operation Uplink", and then bring you the truth about the USMC Silent Drill Platoon's denial to film by the San Francisco Film Commission. The Silent Drill Platoon were just featured on last week's National Defense, and Randy and Jerry cut through the excuses given by San Francisco.

Part 3: The National Defense continues this week's program with a discussion about the GAO's report.

Part 4: Randy and Jerry nominate Iranian President Ahmadinejad as the "Scumbag of the Week" and discuss his recent visit to Columbia University.

Segment 1: Jerry and Randy start off the National Defense with a review of former Gen. Wesley Clark's comments made about America's role in Iraq on "The Daily Show with John Stewart"

Segment 3: The VFW's Operation Uplink program showcases another active duty military family that they are assisting, and let's you know what you can do to assist the Operation Uplink program. Randy and Jerry also run down the National Defense's "E-mail Call", and read some of your thoughts on the air regarding The National Defense.

Segment 4: Randy and Jerry welcome Elliot Goldman of the National Leadership Foundation. Elliot speaks with the guys about the program, as well as an artifact collection that is on tour, featuring leaders from Pershing to Powell. The National Defense also runs down it's Hot-List, and discuss Presidential Candidate, Bill Richardson.

Seg. 1: As always, the National Defense begins with a dedication to the men and women in active duty in the armed forces, as well as all the veterans, and their families. A lot to get to in this week's show, and Jerry and Randy hop to it.

Seg. 2: Jerry and Randy welcome George Gilgore (VFW Dept. of Europe), alongside Mr. Charles Roberts, PAO and Cdr. Stephen Stavoy (US Navy Chaplains Corp.) all joining the National Defense from the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, a U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) post, that is often the first stop for American casualties leaving the ongoing conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Seg. 3: The National Defense brings a little baseball to the table as they welcome Marc Russinoff of the Somerset Patriots, and Joe Yuzuik (NJ VFW) to discuss the 5th annual Veterans of America Day that the Somerset Patriots will be hosting again this year.

Seg. 4: The Military Assisstance Program is featured again in the final segment of the National Defense, as Jerry welcomes Vivian Wilson, Director of Fisher House, and speaks with her about her position, and what the Fisher House does to assist military personell. Randy and Jerry also discuss P.A.C. "moveon.org", and their latest antics in reference to the report released by Gen. Petraeus.

Prt. 1: Jerry and Randy open up the National Defense with a dedication to all service members and their families. The guys discuss some recent comments made by Gen. Petraeus' upcoming report on Iraq.

Prt. 2: The National Defense welcomes Military Assistance Program (M.A.P.) Chairman for Texas, Dan West, and have a great discussion about the various operations that the M.A.P. program undertakes in Texas, "Operation BBQ" for example.

Part 3: Jerry and Randy go through a lengthy hotlist, touching on issues such as comprimised Veteran's records, the Sen. Larry Craig of Idaho scandal, as well as the latest on the The Government Accountability Office (GAO) report on the war in Iraq.

Part 1: Jerry Newberry Opens up the National Defense and talks about the VFW National Convention, which took place this week in Kansas City.

Part 2: Jerry Newberry has a one on one exclusive interviews with two Senators, as well as Presidential hopefuls, Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. John McCain.

Part 3: The National Defense welcomes Illinois Senator Barack Obama to the VFW National Convention, and speaks with him on his stance on America's role in Afghanistan, as well as his policy on veteran's affairs in the United States.

Part 4: Jerry Newberry wraps up his exclusive interview schedule with former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson, and gets his feelings on the state of veteran and military affairs in the U.S. as well as his status in the upcoming Presidential election.

Townhall Exclusive: Jerry speaks with Wal-Mart's Barbara Gregory, Sustainable Textile specialsist and Ray Bracy Sr. Vice President of Government Relations and International Corporate Affairs. Barbara speaks about a new program in Wal-Mart stores, in conjunction with the VFW, that convert the familar blue vests worn by Wal-Mart associates, and the reuse of their fibers to help out soldiers and their families.

Townhall Exclusive: Jerry speaks with Lt. General Jack Stultz, comanding General of the U.S. Army Reserves about the status of our reserve forces here at home and overseas.

Prt. 1: The National Defense welcomes and Ok. Nat'l Guard Fighter Pilot Dan Rooney to talk about "The Patriot Golf Day", a charity event across the country bringing together the military and golf. Randy talks with him about his experience as a fighter pilot, as well as battling it out on the links with Tiger Woods.

Prt 2: Randy Miller speaks with Major Mike Corrado, who is also a singer & songwriter, and winner of the FameCast contest. Major Corrado's single "On My Watch Tonight" is featured at the end of this segment.
