Part 2: Jerry and Randy welcome the 3rd grade class of Holly Savoie, in Louisiana, near New Orleans. Holly's class participated in a fundraiser for Operation Uplink, and the class sends a special message to the VFW and the National Defense! The program also speaks with Sgt. Brian Griffin abou a new commercial featuring the Silent Drill Unit, as seen on American Idol and this weekend's AFC championship game.

Part 3: Randy and Jerry discuss the hot topics of the week, including a new pay raise for congress voted on in June. Jerry and Randy also talk about a new New York Times article on murders committed by Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans.

Part 4: The National Defense wraps up by continuing their conversation on the "Wacko-Vet" myth, and how it is ludicrously perpetuated in the American media.
